I was previous employed by Dominik, owner of 606 Junk Removal and this is by far the worst company to be employed by. No matter how much you show that you're dedicated through hard, sweat, blood and fatigue, Dominik is just a slave owner that's used workers and don't know how to take care of them. Before I started he told me he went through 30 workers in a span of 2 months, that should've been a big red flag because if that many workers left, it's not the workers it's the company. After being employed I later learned that Dominik has no health, dental or any benefits at all and his excuse is that it's too expensive but his company and his trucks are insured so if his workers are hurt they cant even see a doctor. He also is a junk removal job that take on other jobs that he's not insured for. He had us doing uninsured moving jobs without proper padding or moving equipment and then tried to fine the team when one table got chipped because he wasn't insured for the job. I've been on jobs where they failed to provide proper hazmat suits and failed to disclose full details of jobs where there were bed bugs and human feces and there was risk of bringing the bugs home so they had to strip before going into my home. Dominik recently fired a co worker of mines and just hired anybody for me to work with which made my job more difficult, because my new partner was inadequate and not compatible with me so I was doing more work at every job. When stating my concerns and grievances about the workplace, management and my team mates, Dominik along with his secretary Lux chose retaliation, they gave me off for 3 days without a verbal or written notice and when I called addressing my concern about that they fired me and tried to lie like I was stealing and then brung back the worker they just fired the day before. My whole time there I took pictures, videos and screenshots of jobs, receipts, my hours, conversations with management and more evidence to prove that this company is dirty. Their last recent review on this app is because of me running lead and asking customer to leave a review, you can see my name. I went above and beyond for this company, waking up early, coming in on my off days, compressing junk on trucks to get ready for the day before I even clock in. All this company do is use workers, then pull some dirt to get rid of them. I got evidence for every single claim I'm making and I hope many see this so that it will never happen to anyone else. read more

This is the most unprofessional, slowest, over priced junk removal company in Chicago. I've used other companies in the past and this is by far the worst. The workers arrived late, they took a long time to remove what I feel was not a lot, they didn't have the proper equipment to move the bigger items, they put scratches on my floor and then had the audacity to try to charge me $425 for a half load plus $175 for having to break down a armoire which got into my home in one piece, but when I requested that they open the truck so I could see, it was actually less than a 1/2 load and I didn't receive a lesser price until I put up a fuss. I will never use this company again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and they had the audacity to mention a tip before starting and to Venmo it if I was going to. I should've just went with my first mind and used 1-800-GOT-JUNK or Junk King. Im severely disappointed in this company. I wouldn't use them to remove the dirt off my shoes. read more

This is my second time using 606Junk...you know why? Because they are amazing! The first time I contacted Dom, he responded almost immediately and was over at my place a few hours later! It took him and his team literally 5 minutes to clear away 5 chairs. The second time was a little more complicated - I contacted Dom and again almost immediately responded with a YES I CAN attitude - they came and took away a heavy washer/dryer - figured out how to get it out and away they went! Not only is their service exceptional, but their pricing is sooooo worth it! Thank you for great service and if anyone in the Chicago area needs to have their junk or extra items removed to create a more clutter free home - CALL THEM - do not hesitate - call and they will take the best care of you!
