They were courtesous, professional and communicative. Price is on the high side, but they do offer quite alot like partial donations, disassembly and tracking. I've dealt with junk removal companies before and know the game, over communicate and document everything and you'll be treated properly becuase most removal companies try and find a way to take advantage of the urgency, priority or just treat your home unlike their own. Having cameras and witness' on property definitely help keep everyone honest. They made short work of the large furniture and noting specific directions for certain items that we wanted donated to a local church as well as doing all the admin for the permits for the landfill items. Had I spent more on the shipping I'd spent less on the removal since it's by volume. All in all I'd use them again, but only due to logistics as I'd prefer to pay a construction company a single bid to do it all from removal, demo to the build out (limited by approved vendors by the building)

Walked thru instructions on how to get to loading dock of highrise and check in. Guy says great, you are set. All good so far. Early morning Tuesday they call when I'm in shower and leave message saying will be there in 90 minutes (which would be 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time). Also said unless I call back, they aren't coming at all. So I call back. Guy starts off by yelling. Says he called me but I didn't answer. I remind him appt was already set and confirmed. Then he goes off and says how does he know if I'll really be there and that now he will start sending guys to come in about 90 minutes. I say I'd like you to please honor the appointment time. He says ok will send guys. He then says will call me from outside. I remind him we had already walked through need to check in at dock. He then blows up more and says I don't need this, go hire someone else and hangs up. Wow, what great service. Do yourself a favor and avoid losing 24 hours thinking they will honor a confirmed appointment. Just start off by going with someone else.

I was quoted $1500.00 but ended up paying $3020.00. I will warn everyone I know to steer clear of this service. My friends ran a moving company until last year, and in three moves, I've never had a job take this long or cost this much, even with nearly double the items. Hands down one of the worst, and agonizingly slow, ways to be ripped off. Oh and if you do use this service, don't take anything but their $0.60 per pound insurance, there's some mind numbingly convoluted equation that the "manager" discussed with me about the extra $100 to $1000 that I might be paying because of what chose to value my move at. Seems a little grifty.
