I am writing this after using Top Cat Hauling and Junk Removal for the second time in preparation of putting my house up or sale. Having lived in the house for a long time, I needed two visits to clear out several large items, including heavy furniture, an old refrigerator, and a window air conditioner unit as well as other items stored in the garage, attic and basement. Danny and his team handled everything perfectly. The team was professional, efficient and very careful not to damage the house while moving the bulky items out. I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable price, especially considering the extra labor required for the large items, like the refrigerator. The service was excellent from start to finish. He gave me an immediate quote (best price out of the other companies that were just gouging prices ) and offered to get my wrecked gazebo from a wind storm right away while he was away on vacation but I told him I can wait and it was no rush. I had to remove mattresses and was originally quoted $150. The day of the removal, I was called to say I had been misquoted and that it would be $175. Fair enough, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and agreed to it. We all make mistakes. What really angered me is my uncle told me upon arrival they tried to bully him to pay $200 instead. They're definitely a dishonest business and you should be really careful as they'll bait and switch you the day of your scheduled service. What's ironic here is I'm a great tipper and they would have gotten close to that $200 anyways if they didn't try to rip off my uncle. Will not be doing business with them again. read more

I needed a broken treadmill removed from my basement. Everything about my experience with Top Cat and Danny was top notch, from getting a quote to scheduling to the actual removal service. Danny was very quick to respond to my initial request (within 10 minutes). He quoted me a fair price (I checked with two other services, and Danny's quote was $50 lower than anyone else's). We were able to get it scheduled for the same day. He asked permission to take apart the treadmill (it was broken, so that was fine), and they quickly sawed it into easily removable pieces. The entire thing took 10 minutes, if that. I tried to give the team a little bit extra for a tip, and Danny declined the money; he said that everything went so quickly he was about to offer me a lower price.
