Cranberry pancakes with whipped cream

We went mid-morning and was immediately greeted and sat. The server even pulled my chair out for me! We both ordered the cranberry pancakes with whipped cream. The pancakes were light and fluffy and came out quickly. The cranberries were Craisins, but still tasty. Overall, a quiet, friendly place to grab breakfast or lunch!

Restaurants crew

What a great restaurant and a great crew! Food and service was fantastic. Do your self a favor and stop by to say hello!

Food and service were good. Little weird that the cook sat at a chair at the counter directly in front of us and watched videos on his phone

It was good - an old school diner type serving good filling breakfasts. Some in our party feels eggs and toasts are remarkably small...

We had a good breakfast and our waitress was very nice. The breakfast burrito was to big for me to eat.

This was my second visit to a Snowy Owl coffee shop but first at the Sandwich location…read more What a lovely place, with friendly service, and good coffee. My daughters and I enjoyed our coffees and pastries while we planned our day on the Cape. I always recommend Snowy Owl to any friend visiting the Cape.

Stopped by for some coffee and baked goods before heading out to the beach and absolutely loved it. It was a bit chaotic walking into salsa and then switching it to Backstreet Boys before I had my first sip of coffee, but I think after that, it all kind of became a blur haha. I ordered a lavender latte with macadamia nut milk (all plant based milks are +$1) with a chocolate croissant. I'm a croissant lover and this one wasn't something I'd go home or on Yelp to rave about but it was still nice to enjoy it with my hot latte on this chillier summer morning. We also ordered the bean empanada (which is more egg forward than we expected) and a chocolate chip banana bread which was nice and thick and a bit in the sweeter side. It paused well with my hubby's unsweetened dirty matcha. Overall, great place to grab coffee. I was in love with my lavender latte. It had the perfect amount of espresso where it didn't wash down with the lavender. So I'd totally recommend stopping for coffee here. They also have a to go fridge where you can take salads/wraps and stuff with you. Perfect beach snack without having to do any work!

I got a caramel latte to go. It's a quaint little New England diner and the service was friendly, quick and efficient. I would def be happy to go back!

Update to my review from 2017:…read more Hubby decided he wanted to try out Marshland again as it has been years since last we visited this in-town icon. We dropped in around 5:15pm. Not busy at all. One very odd guy at the counter and 3 deuces besides us in booths. Hubs tried the Buffalo Chicken Tenders which he said were unremarkable but fine. I had the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and the 'zucchini medley'. In all honesty but for the oiliness of the gravy my dinner was really good and so hot that I had to adjust everything in order to release some of the heat. The meatloaf was serviceable and a large portion of it (I'm having the remnants as a sandwich for lunch today), the mashed potatoes were definitely from fresh potatoes as I found a not unpleasant chunk of unmashed potato in there. The zucchini was a real treat with caramelized zucchini, which I love, crispy shallots and grape tomatoes. All, as I said, piping hot. Good, inexpensive diner food, server with speed, friendliness and care in a cutesy Cape Cod diner.
