Today was the first time we've tried this place. We heard it was good. We liked it a lot. I had an egg white breakfast burrito. It was excellent. I'm trying to cut back on egg yolks a bit. Didn't miss the yolk at all in this dish. Came with sour cream, a bit of salsa and guacamole. All good. It also came with a bowl of excellent fresh fruit. Not the crappy stuff... very good fresh fruit including things like blackberries and strawberries. All sweet and ripe. My wife got an excellent omelet with a toasted blueberry muffin. She also got the fruit included. She liked hers a lot. The waitress was great. Very friendly and provided great service. She automatically brought me a second pitcher of hot water and a second tea bag without me even asking. That's a notable first!!! A very busy restaurant at breakfast, definitely a favorite with the community and visitors. We waited about 25 minutes during a breakfast rush, however, we went to a T-shirt shop up the way to kill the time. Service was good, not stellar. I think there may have been a communication/language barrier, not very warm. Lots of food choices, the three at my table had different meals and everyone enjoyed. This was our last stop on Cape Cod before heading home. Cute little establishment with an old-timey, local feel with plenty of seating on a Sunday morning. The employees were friendly and seemed to genuinely care about their patrons. We ordered oatmeal with berries, an organic omelette, and two sides of bacon (one turkey, one pork). With coffee and tea to drink, our bill was just over $40 which seems a smidge steep but everything tasted great and the orders were accurate, so I'd definitely visit here again if in the area! read more

Early in the morning and all staff greeted us with cheer. Service was attentive and efficient. The extensive menu made it difficult to choose just one entrée for breakfast. I narrowed it down, requested no onions, and enjoyed the best omelette of my life. My breakfast companion had his own omelette, combination, with breakfast potatoes that made us smile. We only problem with our meals is they serve served too much :-) my omelette came with fresh fruit. I expected a quarter cup, as is the norm. Went there this morning for breakfast and I must tell you it exceeded all my expectations. My wife had a omelette with bacon and cheese and I have the salmon plate with everything bagel. The service was amazing. The food was delicious. The portions were generous and overall a great value I want to give a special shout out to the weight staff. The hubs got your standard breakfast egg toast home fries combo with the homemade hash which was very good. Our server (I think Sophia?!) was sweet and checked in with us the perfect amount of times. We missed our ferry to Nantucket so we had a couple of hours to kill. We ended up here for breakfast based on its Yelp reviews. Friendly greeting when we arrived. Place has a classic diner feel and very clean and organized. Sat at a quaint table for 4 by the kitchen. Our server Mellissa was very attentive and friendly with all of us. Prices were very fair and the food quality and portions were incredible. Homemade hash, honey oatmeal toast, eggs and waffles were all a big hit. Shout out again to our server. Oh no!! I used to love this place... like just last year. Today's $16 Pastrami omelette was really an overpriced potato omelette!! Two 2 inch pieces of peppered pastrami, 1/4 of a caramelized onion. Two 1 inch red peppers. Scant Swiss cheese (like a tablespoon). Staff was inattentive, uninterested in two elder women (retired chefs!!) having breakfast. Spreading the NEWS that the daily paper has lost its soul, lost its attention to quality, lost its luster. There's an old Perry's menu hanging in the bathroom. Old school classic diner... nice little 9 seater counter service and quite a few tables. Lots of staff that can handle a rush without having to wait... for food... I could totally see waiting an hour for a table in the summer. Extensive menu for lunch, brunch and lunch and everything I saw go out was cooked perfectly. I came across The Daily Paper while staying near by. I am from out of town, actually from California. Overall, the restaurant was welcoming. Our server was great. Loved the ambiance of the place. I don't really like giving bad reviews. I also am a very truthful Yelper. That being said, I was very disappointed with their Chicken and Green Apple Salad Sandwich. I haven't had a Chicken Salad Sandwich in a while and I was very much looking forward to enjoying it. Maybe I just made a bad choice, nonetheless, this sandwich was overwhelmed by mayo. So much mayo. I did not taste any green apple, which was the whole point of the sandwich. It's in the name. Besides only really tasting mayo the only other ingredient I tasted was the walnuts. I also didn't appreciate my toast being burnt. I mean I like my bread toasted, I prefer it, but when it's burnt that's all you really taste. As you can see I didn't have the greatest experience. Lastly, my fries were cold. On a good note. My sister really enjoyed the White Egg Burrito and my Niece enjoyed her Waffle. read more

We came here at the recommendation of a local, and we were not disappointed. It was a gorgeous pre-storm (Hurricane Idalia) day and we got to sit outside. Location: think diner style on Main. Small, intimate seating inside with a few tables outside Staff: we had GREAT servers. 2 different waitresses kept hot coffee and ice- tea filled at all times and took our orders right away. Food: OH my gawd. So freaking good and exactly what I needed to start my day. I had steak and eggs with homestyle potatoes and they were hot, hearty, perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned. Bonus: everything not only tasted great, but was plated prettily which was unexpected for "diner fare" and I loved that. There's two locations, though I expect the other on West Main to be just as busy as this one On Main. I enjoyed the local coffee roast. Had a Lobster Benedict and found it standard. The hollandaise wasn't anything out of the ordinary and covered the taste of the lobster (which is an unfortunate), but the sauce was a nice addition mixed with ketchup and Sriracha for the home fries. Hands down the best sandwich I've ever had- the Warm Turkey Melt! Clean, excellent service, and easy to get to.

We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. She was super friendly and seated us right away.
