Clam chowder with Smokey bacon flavor was best chowdah I've had recently. Clam roll was perfect whole belly clams. Lobster roll was full of lobster meat.

Dining with a beautiful view of the Cape Cod Canal makes this spot special from the moment you arrive. Even if you don't get a table with a view the water, the atmosphere inside by the bar is still lively and fun thanks to the live music they always seem to have going. The cocktails are some of the best we've had, especially the dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and the espresso martini. The raw bar and sushi are standout choices, but the real star of the menu is the lobster mac and cheese which is incredibly creamy and rich with a generous amount of lobster. Between the food, drinks, music, and views, it's the kind of place that's easy to keep coming back to.

Delicious homemade & unique carrot cake! Also had the crabmeat & hummus; filling and delicious.

Even on a gloomy, misty day, sitting at Fisherman's View with its many windows and well-positioned inlet vantage point made for a lunch I could've dragged out through dinner & dessert. Aw he**, I could've stayed til lunch the next day! The crab cakes were tender & flakey. And the apple & fennel salad was an ample, crispety-crunchety, flavorful accompaniment. We also couldn't resist ordering the maple butternut squash, which was downright bathing in high quality pure maple-syrup, resembling more of a dessert than a side and exquisite nonetheless. My brother, seated across from me, helped himself to the MP lobster roll... and I watched as his pupils turned into hearts with eat tender nibble. This was a lunch of epic proportions.

My family and I decided to come here, it was a bit of long wait but we read online that it was a must to try out the restaurant. There wait was over 30 mins but it went very fast. We wanted to sit inside but the reservations were all booked for the rest of the year which we thought that was pretty crazy. The food was very very good and it tasted very fresh. The prices were just right as well. I would highly recommend coming here and giving them a shot. Its definitely worth the wait.

Food was pretty good and decently priced! We loved the mac n cheese in particular, and the complementary cornbread was good as well. The 1 star deduction is because the wait wasn't great and they don't take reservations around so that's hard to avoid, even on a weeknight. The view is really nice: we got to see a few boats on the harbor.

Great views, awesome atmosphere, and food to die for! Servers were very friendly and attentive. We were visiting Cape Cod and wanted a nice view for dinner. We hit the jackpot with Fishermen's View!

Ended our trip in Sandwich MA at fisherman's view through the recommendation of our bnb host. Upon arrival we were taken aback by how booked and busy this place was. It was 8pm on a Thursday. The host let us know for a table of three it would be about 1.5 hour wait. We accepted it and to our surprise a table was ready in half the time. Our waitress was friendly and quick. We ordered the cod, lobster mac, fried chicken thighs, and steak. The food was pretty good, nothing to call home about. I would say the biggest "issue" for us was that we were sat outside on a cold ish night, it was windy, no sun, super cloudy and we were suprised to see a place as nice as fisherman's view didn't have heat lamps or offered blankets.

Beautiful restaurant with fresh food! After a long day of travel, we stopped in for a late dinner before heading to Wellfleet. We arrived at 8:45pm and there was no wait. We sat inside and were promptly served with warm delicious cornbread. Our party of seven promptly placed our order and food was served quickly. This was perfect because we were hungry after a long day of travel. Bang bang shrimp and a BLT sandwich hit just the right spot. Fresh and delicious! Since we were kicking off vacation, a garden spritz was in order. It was a perfect first stop on the Cape!

OK, So let's take a look at the Fisherman's View restaurant in Sandwich, Ma. This restaurant AND fish market has been around for over 10 years, but we just discovered it a couple of years ago. It is now our go-to place for dinner on the upper Cape. What I like about it: The food is great. The ambiance. The place is right on the Cape Cod Canal at the mouth of the Atlantic Ocean. If you're lucky you'll get to see some amazing boats pass by your window. The staff: We have never yet met anyone at this place who wasn't cheerful, greeting us warmly, professional. Last night our server was Rachel who's been there 8 years. She should be teaching a course on what it means to be a server. The price: extremely competitive. The Bar: It ROCKS. Great selection of Scotch. All in all if you're on the Cape do yourself a favor and have a great meal at the Fisherman's View

Was looking for a spot for lunch on our way back home from spending the weekend on the Cape, this place was rated pretty high and seafood can't get any fresher than this as its boat to table! We took a chance on Easter Sunday without reservations and walked in when they first opened and scored a table! Just a tip, plan ahead and try to get a table overlooking the water. They did have a fantastic looking bar as well that had we not scored a table, we would've been fine at the bar as well. We ordered several appetizers - 2 sushi rolls, the cauliflower and the notorious crab cakes. We were wowed by all of our apps! The sushi was phenomenal and we've had ALOT of sushi in our lifetime. The fish in the rolls were so fresh and they weren't super doused in sauces to really let the fish shine. The mister absolutely loved his crab cakes - said they were delish! We both ordered fish - fish and chips for me and the fish sandwich for him. They offered two different ways to have it - either beer battered or clam fried (lighter batter) which is what I opted for. Fish was just ok in my opinion, good not great. We had high hopes for our entrees as we throughly enjoyed our apps. Service was impeccable so absolutely no complaints there. We absolutely would return if in the area, if for nothing else but the sushi alone and maybe with a water view next time.

Beautiful location on the water! We arrived just before lunchtime & we were able to sit at a table in the bar, but this place filled up fast! Everyone loved their food & the service was great! The lobster roll was stuffed & overflowing with delicious lobster. We loved the scallops served with butternut squash (I was thinking about it all day) & roasted potatoes. We will definitely try to make it back. We hear there's live music in the warmer months.

Do they serve waffles all day or just at breakfast time?

Thanks for your question; waffles are part of our rotating brunch specials, which we do in the fall, winter, and spring on Sundays from 11:30am to 3:30pm.

Who is the current chef de cuisine?

Hi Debra, thank you for your question. Our sous chefs are currently Chef Jomar and Chef Tim!

Is there an elevator to get to the dining room or just stairs?

There is an elevator from just inside the front door at ground level that brings occupants up one floor to the dining room and bar level.

So you're looking at about 8 picnic tables with umbrellas pushed together. A small walk up shack mixing drinks, and cooking food. The menu is in chalk, and changing daily. Most items are on the snack size. Then again, 2-3 Blackened salmon tacos, or F/V beef sliders is enough to fill the belly. Now you're fed, enjoying a cool libation, and some live guitar music with a scenic view. The prices are good. The service at the shack is good. The drinks are good. The food is great. Everything is pay at the shack or run a tab. Many never even went back to their F/V reservation. I wish there was more attention to silverware and napkins. I know it's hard to keep tables clean when a butt sits down as soon as one gets up. You basically bus the garbage of the previous tenant. They highly discourage entry and exit through the sidewalk gate. The exception was made for a handicapped person in our party. *Note that we did encounter some biting, flying insects on first week of July. Lot's of bug bites the next day.

We…read morewanted to try something new, so we drove to Sandwich to see if we could come across something. We were in the area of Fisherman's View, and decided to go to a place we both had been long time ago; we knew it then as the Sagamore Inn. Now, THE SAGAMORE, it's a gently, though sophistically renovated (not losing any charm), clean, comfortable spot. We opted to sit at the inside bar. It's a smaller bar boasting one row of seats, facing your bartender. Nicely presented liquor stock, and a neat, clean bar overall. This particular Sunday, it was holiday, Palm Sunday, for those who celebrate, and we strolled in about 2:30PM or so. A nice, welcoming, upbeat, bartender named Mikayla (sp.?) greeted us, and immediately made us feel comfortable; this is so important! I ordered my favorite drink: an Espresso Martini. One of the best is at Columbo's in Hyannis, so they were up against a challenge. I noticed right away that they use top shelf vodka in their martinis, so I knew right away I was in for a treat, a top quality martini! The martini's taste did not disappoint; it was fantastic. A perfect balance of espresso, blended with the best vodka, other superb ingredients, and shaken perfectly; not too strong; not too sweet; just right! Definitely up there as one of the best. One drawback: owners, if you ever read this please take notice: the martini's contents did not fill the martini glass when served. The drink was 3/4 full. Even the great John Taffer from Bar Rescue would say this is a no-no. Going out as often as we do, we certainly notice the martini glass size game. Sometimes, you'll get a "full" martini in a tiny martini glass. Well the Sagamore, uses a full sized martini glass, though when we inquired, we're advised it's their protocol to only fill it 3/4 of the way up. Well I'll tell you, it makes for a horrible presentation, the customer feels as though they aren't getting a full drink, and in 1-2 sips, the glass looks half empty. It wasn't worth taking a star away for sure, because the price at $14.00 is a very fair price when others charge $17-$19 a martini. It''s more of an insult when those expensive martinis come in a smaller sized martini glass. Please, The Sagamore, fill the glass. I get its top shelf vodka and a fair price. Do a smaller glass, or go up a dollar and fill the regular sized martini glass, or don't go up a dollar and just fill the glass please! We did, as I said, bring it to the attention of Mikayla, who was so nice to bring my second martini closer to the rim! So appreciated, and really part of the reason we'll be back; and we hope we don't get you in trouble! Haha. To the food: superb. Definitely NOT greasy bar food, it's way above! Those fried provolone were fresh, light, airy, not heavy with old oil. Delicious taste. Even the marinara for dipping was delicious. I had a meatball sandwich that was huge, I actually saved the second half. The meatballs were fresh, not frozen, tasted delicious. The onion rings were light, fresh, sweet, tasty. It's so nice that The Sagamore uses fresh oil in their fried food. My wife ordered the scallop roll, there were plenty of scallops on it. The scallops were light, sweet, tasted fresh. My absolute favorite were the pickles they serve at The Sagamore; I've never had anything like them! The were fresh with a spicy sweet flavor that just popped and made for a nice addition to my sandwich. Mikayla was so accommodating and nice to give me a few extra for my to go portion. To the chefs, cooks, prep people: THANK YOU! We noticed your hard work and attention to detail. Please keep it up! Definitely will be back, and if you've never been, it's worth the trip whether you're on Cape or off! As you folks that read my reviews know both my wife and I have owned restaurants, bars etc. I try my best to be fair, respectful, understanding in my reviews. We are both always respectful of our servers, without question. (Really, everyone should be!) Servers can make or break a place. I will say Mikayla truly added to our experience at The Sagamore (and no, I do not know her!). When we go out to an establishment, we want to relax, enjoy, be happy, be accommodated. Mikayla helped provide this experience, along with all the others that make The Sagamore a great place to go. Keep up the great work, and you'll have people coming back over and over again, and telling others how fantastic you are!

I was 9 years old when Two Brothers first came to town in 2004. I've been eating their pizza ever since. I worked at a nearby hardware store for a couple years in my late teens, ordered lunch there frequently. I still get lunch their frequently when i've got the munchies or I just want a decent sandwich. After 14 years of eating their food, I decided to get behind the keyboard to share some feedback. THE FOOD: It's pretty good. The pizza is reliable, and unique. I frequent their sandwiches. When it comes to their sandwiches, i've noticed, you're not always gonna get the same quality. It must depend on who's working or something. The fries vary on quality, and amount just about every time I order a sub combo. Sometimes, the subs are wet, to the point where I can't really eat it. This is a total bummer, because more often than not, the subs are pretty good. It's kind of a dice roll when you order anything other than pizza. THE SHOP: The staff is usually really friendly. Over the years they've learned my name and my order, a very good feeling. Feels great supporting local business, and Jimmy is a VERY friendly, and respectable guy. Gotta be honest though, I know this is Sandwich and all, but having Fox News on in the shop all the time is a huge turn off from actually eating there. In my 14 years of eating Two Brother's food, I think i've stayed and eaten once. In summary. Two Brothers is a nice pizza shop. The food is a little overpriced, but they have a great variety of items. I have great respect for the owner, Jimmy, and his staff. There's nothing mind-blowing going on here, but it's a SAFE option.
