After the girl took an order, she went on to help at least four other cars that arrived after I did, even though she looked right at my car multiple times, so she knew I was there. By the time I was finally helped, I was already frustrated. I explained what had happened to the girl who came up, and she just said, "Sorry, I just got here," which didn't really address the situation. This isn't the first time I've had issues at this location. I go to the Palm Bay 7Brew all the time and never have problems, but every time I end up at the Malabar one, it's something like this. The kids size was less than $2 cheaper than a small, but instead of accommodating the request, they lost the sale entirely. What made it especially frustrating was that after making my smoothie, there was plenty left over. They offered my sister a sample and then poured the rest into the trash. It made absolutely no sense to refuse to sell me a smaller portion, only to waste that much product moments later. I understand businesses have policies, but this one resulted in poor customer service, a lost sale, and unnecessary waste. A little common sense and flexibility would have gone a long way. Typical "computer says no" management.
