I never got contacted after the evaluation and had to call back to get an update on the service appointment and next steps. I had nothing but good things to say until they repaired my dryer. First repair was in March. They returned in April, and May. Issues persisted and resurfaced even worse than before the issues' first repair was done. Then they ghosted me. So much for a guarantee. I ended up disputing the repair costs w/my card issuer, and had to pay a legitimate repair service $500 to fix it correctly and undo the damage done by 7Days. 7Days used cheap, knockoff parts. The tech that came out said I needed a new sensor when he got the new sensor. He only put that in it also came with a tube if he would've looked a little bit further, he would've seen the tube was what was the problem but he didn't what he did instead was tell me oh you need a new computer so he does try to upsell me a couple hundred dollar part when he didn't even complete his job. Do yourself a favor call the manufacturer and request repair from them. They will actually send a certified tech out. That's not gonna try and upsell you apart that you actually don't need because of lack of total investigation of your issue. That was the problem. The tech was lazy. Our ice maker quit on a day when we had friends over for a cookout. I had a 5 year warranty on the refrigerator; it was 6 years old. After getting the ice maker on another refrigerator of ours up and running, I looked for a repair person on Yelp. The top rated service did work only on the east side of town. I read 7 Days Appliance Repair reviews. There was one negative review with all the rest being 5 star reviews and that didn't make sense to me, so I called Lazar at 7 Days Appliance Repair. He said he would be out the next day. Lazar came out and spend a great deal of time checking all parts of the ice maker including the water line. He determined that the ice maker had failed. He put everything back together, hit the reset button, and said to call him that afternoon to let him know if it was or was not working. I called him and told him that it was not working. He said he would order a new ice maker and it would be in in a few days. The next morning he called and said that his supply business had none and did not have a date when they would have one. He then sent me 3 texts with information on the part number, a local supply house that might have one and an Amazon website that had the part I needed. I ordered the part and let him know I would contact him when it was delivered. I asked him if he wanted me to pay him for the visit and he said no, that I could pay when he came back to install the new ice maker. The part showed up, I called him, he came out the next day and installed it. Lazar is quiet, a hard worker and very professional. He didn't stop until he was sure the new ice maker was working properly. He even pulled the refrigerator out and checked all the mechanics in the back of the refrigerator. They came and was suppose to let me know what was wrong with my eight-year-old refrigerator that was not cooling. The guy was here a total of six minutes said it was the compressor without even removing the back of the refrigerator, he took my money and left. I would love to leave a positive review but with the way they have treated us, it is not acceptable. We called to have our dishwasher repaired. They came out and diagnosed the problem to be a circuit board. He came out the next day and replaced it and it seemed to work but still had some glitches, the lights wouldn't go off. We called back and let them know, spoke to the man that was here and he seemed to think it was an electrical issue with the outlet. Had that checked and it was fine, nothing wrong. Then it stopped working altogether. Called several times and sent an email and no one will return our call. After spending approx $250 and not get a return call is not how you do business.
