On our first service request Mr. Hamilton came out promptly; and even did a temporary fix so that we could use the dryer. He was very courteous and scheduled to return to complete a permanent repair. He did not return nor respond to several calls and text messages over several days. Both my daughter-in law and I tried reaching him The temporary fix only lasted for a couple of drying cycles. After no response from Mr. Hamilton, we retained another service provider. Very unprofessional. Will never use his services again. read more

I asked Hamilton Home to repair my dishwasher. one button was difficult to impossible to push. The replacement part with installation was $500. Too much for my budget. I told Fred i was okay with him thinking outside the box for a repair. Thats when I found out he lives to think outside the box. Long story short, the dishwasher is working like new and it only cost the initial visit fee and a bread clip. read more

Our 10+ LG dryer was squealing, so I called Hamilton based on a great experience 11-30-20 for our washer. They were able to do same day scheduling for today and sent a very capable tech by the name of Dakota to find and fix the issue with the dryer and who was able to complete it in a timely manner with a reasonable fee for service. This company was recommended to me just a few days ago. I sent them a text asking if they could fix my Kenmore Elite range oven that was no longer heating up. They asked me some questions via text and I sent them the model number and some pictures. They said they could fix it. Here I thought I would have to get a new appliance and spend several thousand dollars to replace what I had. They came by today and within 15 minutes, a new heating element was put in and the oven works great!! The price was right. I am so thankful and would recommend them to anyone that has an appliance on the fritz. I wish I had known about them a month ago when my dryer stopped heating up. I have called Hamilton Home Appliances twice regarding Kitchen Aid dishwasher repairs. The first time the dishwasher was not filling up with water. Hamilton came out the day I called and got it working without needing any new parts by, essentially, priming the pump. The dishwasher has worked flawlessly since then until a plastic serving spoon fell out of the silverware holder and melted on the heating coil. Hamilton came out the day after I called and was able to remove the melted spoon from the heating coil and got the dishwasher working again. Both times Hamilton notified when he was coming, alerted us when he was a few minutes away and arrived on time. The service fee both times was minimal and very reasonable. read more

The tech did not communicate with me very well throughout the process and I eventually just said I had to go with someone else. He cancelled on me same-day twice and it was very difficult to get him to call or text me back. i have a home warranty that contracts with Hamilton Home Appliance. The ice maker on my refrigerator went out in May of this year (2021), as of today, 10/04/2021 my ice maker is still not repaired. I have texted and emailed this company and have had one response for a repair date that would not work, based on my work schedule. The home warranty company states they can not assist me, that I need to contact the company directly... yup.. i have tried doing that with no success!! Any suggestions would be helpful. read more

HHA stopped by on 9/23 to examine my noisy Electrolux dryer. They returned on 9/26 to perform repairs (basically cleaning out and servicing the motor area). I called the next day to inform them that the unit was still making excessive noise. HHA came back on 9/29 and examined the dryer again. At this time, I was informed I'd need a new motor ($200, on top of the $215 I'd already spent). I was told I would be contacted the following Monday (10/3) when the new motor arrived. Monday came and went. I then called the following day and requested an update. HHA claimed they would check on delivery and get back to me right away. That was 5 days ago. To their credit, HHA did offer to install the new motor at cost. However, that does me little good if they never return. At this stage, I'm just going to eat the $215 and buy a new dryer. Accept any warranty assurances from HHA at your own risk. read more

He stayed in touch via phone and text, showed up promptly, was extremely knowledgeable and informative--he didn't mind us peeking over his shoulder, asking questions, even encouraged it--and solved the problem with our badly-needed LG front-load washer almost the same day. Freddie had the good judgment to order a bunch of parts (locally) just in case repairs were more extensive, but he didn't charge us for them. He promptly installed the necessary replacements and returned the unused parts to the store, at no cost to us. Freddie also identified a problem that we hadn't known about, showed us what it was doing, and fixed that one, too. His charge to us for two mornings' work was entirely reasonable. We'll call upon Freddie again when any of our appliances go on the fritz. You should, too. read more

Totally disappointed in their service. Was contracted thru home warranty company to fix my fridge, showed up over an hour late on initial visit, took picture of the model number, looked at the fridge for a few minutes, and said i would hear from him the next day. Next day came, nothing. I had to call him, and when he finally did answer said was trying to locate part. that was the last time i heard from him, wont answer calls or texts, to let me know whats going on, this was two weeks ago already!!! This guy comes to my house $60..i know exactly what my stove needed. So. He looks up part number for sears...tells me to go to Sears or G and N and ser if they have the parts!!! Lol. Really? Then what do u YOU do cuz i already knew all that!!! AND when i have them. I shud call him back N he will charge me 20$ to come back n fix it!! That is NOT A repairman...thats a SCAM...he is a rip off.
