Not really sure what the point of having this 7-Eleven here. It doesn't have a gas station and there are plenty of grocery stores nearby. I suppose there is some appeal to have a store open 24/7 like this one in the neighborhood and a place to get a soft drink or slurpee. Aside from buying a lottery ticket or picking up some random item like a bag of ice that is sold out elsewhere, I come here as a place of last resort. they have a small selection of items, but the employees are disrespectful and unqualified. i've tried to use my passport to pay for a beer and they didn't except it even when it's a US passport and they have taken it before. today was definitely the worst experience and i do not plan on returning back to that location. they never clean outside, it's always trashy and everything even the doors look gross i have seen better locations in the area. read more

I came by at 2:20 AM, expecting the place to be open as advertised (24/7). An employee saw me pull in, then closed the door and rode off on a scooter. He left a note saying the store was closed for cleaning and wouldn't reopen until 3:55 AM -- meaning he abandoned his post for over an hour and a half. It's incredibly frustrating and misleading to claim you're open 24/7, only to turn customers away like that. I truly hope the owner sees this and takes action. I made the trip for nothing. I have even heard kids half my age say with great excitement how Shiva knows all them too, I believe by name as well. A great grab and go food selection. Clean and well organized. The reason they only get 2 stars is they stole my money by not honoring the posted advertised sale. The sale was advertised online as well as in the store AND on the Slurpee machine. He seemed uncaring about trying to figure out the issue and was just trying to charge me too much money. I had to get a smaller size slurpee even though the sale listed for ALL sizes. Only reason for 2 stars over 1 was he spoke ok English and vaguely smelled of weed, which reminds me of home. read more

When i was in Brooklyn there was only one that i knew of in the whole borough, so i would drive out to the ass of Brooklyn at midnight for a slurpy. Addictive suckers. I've stepped in here a few times looking for an item I forgot at the store, and they never have what I'm looking for. Yes, they have a good assortment of what you'd expect at a 7-Eleven, but they didn't have any root beer (so much for that root beer float craving!) in any size =/ We also just needed some milk another time but they only carried 2% or Whole milk I believe and no non-fat (maybe I was pushing my luck looking for nonfat at a snack food place... idk). I also felt like the employees were about to accuse me of theft the last time I was there which just felt uncomfortable. I was looking through the aisles for what I wanted and then one of them started to confront me, but then the other employee said something like, "No, not that one, the other one." They basically stopped bugging me, but it did feel uncomfortable... and they never said anything to any of the other customers. Stepping in here for an "emergency" item seems unlikely for me (they don't seem to have any of the items I'd want and I'd rather go somewhere I don't feel profiled or accused of things)... I can see if you lived right next to it you may stop in for something if you don't want to go to either of the gas station convenient stores on the other two corners. read more

Perfect place to stop and stock up before heading towards the highway. I've known the owners for years and they are hands down the nicest people I've ever met. Maybe it's because we share the same dry sense of humor haha. I've seen some customers get confused after a clever joke went right over their heads. Some people need to get out more! The store is kept very clean and all the hot foods are well stocked. Great location, genuine people, tasty foods/drinks. You can't ask for anything more ;) Oh yeah, one more thing. I am not sure where I should say about this place. I was there on Sunday night at around 1:22am to get a six pack. The night time employee had a Hispanic type of music real loud and was stocking. I was the only customer there and she saw me and continue to stock the products. I stand there for about 2min and she saw me long before 2min. All of a sudden she went to the door and started talking with her friend. I said excuse me? I have been ready? She said something in Spanish and came to the cash register and ask for my ID and ring me up. OMG who ever is the manager here at this 7-11 please educate your employees please because this is unexceptional in every direction. If that employee does not enjoy working at a 7-11 please find someone who is. read more

It's a 7-Eleven, it's got all your basics for a little more than you'd pay at a grocery store. But it's convenient being about 1 minute from where I live, so I can hop in for those emergency supplies when having a party..anything from beer to condensed milk. Although I will say that the 18 pack of Bud Light Bottles for $12.99 is very reasonable. The place has always been clean, the staff has always been friendly even when I bring in my dog..which I know is a huge no-no. Oh and although i've been over the age of 21 for several years, I know I still look 15, and i've never been carded here. So there's a *tip* for you high schoolers who need to score some booze :). ~G read more

Nothing hits the spot quite like A 1/4 pound big bite and an ice cold super big gulp when the needs arise. I go to this 7-11 every night before work for coffee and sometimes during the day for drinks/snacks. Every employee I've encountered has been nice and helpful. Their selection is good, it's what you would expect. The store itself is tidy and well stocked. read more

F Bomb Dropped on Kids at 7-11 Main and 148th Bellevue There's a new Sheriff in town and he's working at the 7-11. I was in line at the checkout counter yesterday evening 7/13/15 there were two boys aged about 9 and 11 in the candy isle doing what young kids do when they have a couple of dollars burning a hole in their pockets when all of a sudden the clerk looks over and yells at the boys to get the F##K out of his store. As a few weeks earlier my husband had inquired about a change in policy there as to having to pay separately for a lottery ticket, explaining that he had been coming in there for years and had always paid with one swipe of his card and was told the same thing in the same fashion. Well he left, vowing to the manager never to return to that store as long as the guy is employed there. The manager told my husband that the clerk had been told in the past not to do that. At any rate I protested the clerks treatment of the boys and the language he used also bringing up my husband's treatment and was also promptly told to get the F##K out of his store. I did and went across the street to the Shell Station where I bought my sundries and returned home. The point here is that this male clerk shouldn't be using that kind of language in a place of business let alone on kids and around women. When I got home and told my husband about the encounter he was furious and indicated that either this guy has mental issues or is taking something that induces instant rage, loss of self-control and or an exaggerated state of self-importance. So if you have children, wives or you just don't want to be exposed to this type of behavior you might want to stay clear of this establishment. From what I saw at the Shell Station their prices are lower and they carry almost as large a selection with the exception of some hot food items, which at 7-11 are so-so at best.
