12 cans of Bubly for only $1.99!
    Eva M.

If there's a Grocery Outlet in the area, I always go in; I never know what kind of deals I'll find in each store. There's always something different. I consider this store to be a B amongst GOBMs. Their standard inventory is pretty reliable, and I often find something unique. In a few instances, I have found the same items to be more expensive than other locations. That's always disappointing. Some of the staff are pretty nice, not all. Some are fairly disengaged. To be fair, I've seen some rude customers too, so I guess it's all fair. During the recent visit, I found they had bubly, 12 packs with less common flavors of pineapple and watermelon, for only 2 bucks. They expire in one month, but does that really matter? These are the kind of deals that make GOBM unique. They carry a set of fixed/standard inventory that is cost competitive (though not cheaper than steep sale prices), and they carry special deals that are of familiar brands that likely have a short expiration date and some that are of less familiar brands, sometimes even fancy foreign brands, that are a treat to discover!

Grocery Outlet is the newest grocery store in Bellevue. It is located across the street from Crossroads Shopping Center and two buildings away from the post office on NE 8th. It is in a building that previously had several small businesses tenants that has been converted into one large store. Though Grocery Outlet is a discount grocer, that does not mean that the shopping experience here is as well. In fact, the layout of the store is very good and easy to move around. And most importantly it is clean. The reason the prices here are so low is because Grocery Outlet buys overstock and closeout products. The closeout products make me think of bad items that were consumer flops that ended up on Grocery Outlet shelves as a result. Though that is further from the truth. I saw nothing here that would not be found at a regular grocer nearby. The prices indeed are very good. Though you do need to check dates for everything you buy. There are some things in the store past the date listed on the product. Though this not too much of a concern for some items like beer and wine. They have tons of cereals and oatmeal products here to choose from. Even found a gluten free cereal made in the Czech Republic which is indicative of what ends up here. You will find products that you would not find elsewhere in the area (ex. Hellmann's mayo). Once they are sold out, chances are you will never find the product again unless you really search for it or go to where it is usually sold. In addition to the cereals, I really like the drinks (cheap coconut water), frozen foods (2 pound bag of coho salmon for $7) and snacks (gluten free crackers for $1) found here. They also have a produce section. Some of it might be worth picking up like the avocados, but some of it is pretty comparable in pricing to what other stores are charging so it does not make as much sense to buy it here. Parking lot in front can get quite full. There is a secondary parking lot to the side of the store if you can't find a space in the main lot. Shopping at Grocery Outlet will save you a lot of money on groceries. But it is not meant to be a full-scale supermarket. I would look here first to see what you can find here for cheap before shopping at your primary grocery store for the rest of your needs.

I shop here often and frequently find good deals. You need to check prices and expiration dates but you can find some gems.

And they do their best to make it feel like a "normal" shop but I find it a little disorganized and feel very overwhelmed and gave up looking at clothes. They have a small variety of furniture downstairs and upstairs they have a small section of housewares and men's clothing. It was really hot on my visit and if I wasn't as warm, I'd probably stay longer and do some real treasure Hunting. But I just wasn't into it that day. But it's a great store to search and hunt.

The sheer volume of items on the floor and shelves makes this place a bit overwhelming, and I couldn't find any organization as far as their books go so if you love a long riffling through heaps of stuff then this is your place, but if you like more of an organized and accessible experience this is definitely a place I would skip. The prices range from a couple dollars, to $7.99 for most clothing, and up depending on the item. I'd say they're asking higher end for things, similar to a current Goodwill. I don't have direct experience with the service as neither me nor my companion purchased anything, but the clerks behind the checkout counter were talking amongst themselves as several people looked at the accessories in the area. I don't see myself going out of my way to come back here, unfortunately.

UPDATE APRIL 29, 2026:…read more REJECTED DONATIONS LEAVE ME DEJECTED I'm downgrading my rating of Redmond Goodwill from four stars to two stars because I had recently been told that they no longer accept e-waste electronics, except for computers, printers, TVs, and related electronics. But small appliances like microwaves, blenders, lamps, etc. that are not working or incomplete are no longer accepted as scrap. Likewise for scrap metal and plastic hangers. DELAYED REJECTION ENFORCEMENT = CHAOTIC/DISORGANIZED HANGER HANGUP I donated to this Goodwill literally hundreds of times over several years. They had always accepted all manner of scrap electronics, scrap metal, and all clothes hangers. When I tell them that, I'm told this had been the policy for some time, but only now they're beginning to enforce this "new" policy. This is not the first time this has happened. Also I was told hangers should be organized according to the various types of hangers. Huh? I see donations piled high and deep on either side of the two donation lanes in no particular order. And also they load up those blue carts in no particular order. And now they expect everything to be organized, or just hangers? LET US KNOW ON SITE, NOT JUST ON YOUR WEBSITE Now I will have to find someplace else to get rid of scrap small appliances, scrap metal, and plastic hangers, to keep them from going to the landfill. Though it is good that they spell out what they accept and do not accept on their website, it also would be very helpful to stick a sign out where they post their donation hours saying "we are no longer accepting (fill-in).", and leave it there for a while.

Since then, it has moved to Crossroads into the former Barnes & Noble space across from QFC and has updated its official name to World Market. The first impressions of the store mentioned before still are valid. It has a great selection of home decor, kitchen supplies and specialty food items. Particularly international foods that are hard to find elsewhere. The location itself is a lot more convenient as it is closer to my home than the other location, which is a huge plus. However, I knocked a star as it can be hard to determine the current stock of products at the store when checking online. I have made numerous online purchases on the website for store pickup as they offer a discount for this option. However, I have experienced many instances when a product I ordered was unavailable even though the website said it was. Particularly on items where the stock shows that there are a few left. If you order online, just be aware that the store may not have it available, especially if the website says they are close to selling out.

Yup, it takes them 3 hours to fill my order with two items, and one of them is out of stock but they didn't update it on my pickup notification. I went in, waited in line for it. Then when it was my turn, the cashier was gonna help me out but someone else came to line up, so she told me she has to help her first. So I had to wait for her to finish the order first before she could fetch my stuff in the back. When that was done, she went to the back and brought me one of them items. They weren't gonna give me a receipt so I had no clue the other item was out of stock, so I asked her where that is.. then someone else came and she had to help her first of course, so I waited forever for her to go to the back.. and eventually she came back and told me the item was out of stock so they didn't charge for it. I had no notification of that, so I asked for a copy of that piece of paper with the info, then she told me to take a pix. . It's weird how disconnected and inefficient this whole pickup process is. And the fact that I had to keep waiting for other people is highly unacceptable and the whole process took 20 minutes or more .. this is my first time placing an online order, and also the last time.
