I love Krispy Kreme and come to this store often. As someone who loves a fresh, warm donut, when I see the hot light on I can't pass by without going in. When I went in today, the employee told me the donuts were not hot but warm. I was expecting an original glazed donut but instead he gave me a pumpkin spice donut. He insisted it was their freshest donut and would still be warm but it was not warm at all. If I was going to get a cold donut, I would have bought one I actually wanted. The pumpkin spice donut in my opinion was disgusting and such a waste of a trip, especially since we waited in line for fifteen minutes. I'm so disappointed in this whole experience and don't understand why they would put the hot light on if the donuts are not even warm. I ordered a dozen glazed at the drive through on March 24, 2026. I was told the card reader at the window wasn't working and she asked if she could take my card to the counter reader. I said yes. I had never had an issue at any Krispy Kreme before. She came back and handed me my card and receipt. It's on me for not looking at the receipt at the time, but when I got back to my office, I saw she charged 4 other doughnuts on top of my order. The service that Marshall provided us was great even though my order was a little messed up. I got the wrong drink, but he made that right before I left, but I do need to go back and get another doughnut because the one I ordered was not filled with cream, but it was filled with a lemon Something that I didn't order. Have to say sometimes the specialty donuts are stale, it is clear they are leftover from the day before but the regular glazed are fresh as always. My complaint is this store is so SO DIRTY, it has gotten worse over the years, both bathrooms were a mess but one in particular should not be open. It's not just the bathrooms but the actual store, tables, chairs, floors are always dirty, no napkins put out, no items for your coffee, best if this store was just a drive through only. Staff is very nice but I called ahead for a question, they answered the phone 'hello', kind of odd, confirmed I was called Krispy Kreme, I am sure it was an honest mistake. Who says no to a Krispy Kreme!? This location is always consistent with fresh donuts, friendly staff, and added bonus of a drive thru. On this visit I tried their limited edition Cinnamon Toast Crunch donuts, and they did not disappoint I ordered via their app, and my custom dozen donuts were ready for pick up in less than 10 minutes. It didn't specify if I had to pick up my order inside of the shop or if I could go through drive thru but, I boldly went forth through the drive thru and was able to pick them up with no issues, they just asked for the name on the order. The only forewarning to this location is that due to it being within a plaza packed full of other popular chains (such a Panda Express, Cold Stone, Qdoba and Ivar's) sometimes getting in and out can be a bit congested but, the patience is always worth the donuts read more

Customer Service is truly a thing of the past! I ordered the Harry Potter donuts online on Wednesday 9/10/25 for pickup on Friday 9/12/25. The order processed through and said it would be ready on Friday 9/12/25. I drove 2 hours to pick them up as a special treat for my kids. When I got to the store, the young lady behind the counter had a hard time looking me in the eye and said my order was never made. Said they ran out of ingredients to make them. I have several issues with this: if you couldn't make my order, either pick up the phone and call me that you couldn't make it or email me saying it was cancelled so i don't waste 4 hours round trip to pick these up. It would only take 30 seconds. She said she could cancel the order (there was nothing else on the order, so of course it would be cancelled) but didn't offer anything else for this major lapse in customer service. Another employee (maybe manager?) came out, took a look at it, cancelled it and walked back to the back. I also filled out a survey and requested they contact me immediately. Nothing so far. I guess I'm old school, but this type of horrendous customer service would never fly in the past. Some business' actually care about their customers and reputation, sadly this one does not. read more

I remember Krispy Kreme being better back in the day. My old office was down the street from here and for holidays and special events, we would have two dozen donuts for the staff. It definitely made the work day more tolerable and us fatter. But it was nice to have. In my most recent visit though, it seemed lackluster. While dropping off masks in the area, I swung by here to get myself a pick-me-up. I needed coffee and what goes better with coffee than a donut? Although they are not open for dine-in, they have a drive-thru, which makes getting your goods all the easier. They even play music at the drive-thru! I ordered an iced coffee and a cake batter donut. When asked if I wanted sugar and cream with the iced coffee, I just asked for a dash of cream and was surprised to see how much cream they put in! Instead of a brown color you'd expect from an iced coffee, the drink was nearly white from the cream! Geez. I thought to myself that when I got home I'd add coffee to the drink; but unfortunately, it was not salvageable. At least the cake batter donut was better. It's not my favorite donut in Issaquah, but it was fine. It would've been better with coffee. I like two other donut spots in Issaquah better than KK, so this one isn't at the top of my list for when I want a donut around here. And it's far from when I need coffee, which is a shame because coffee and a donut seems like the perfect pairing. I actually never tried any of their donuts except the original glazed, so decided to venture out. We got the lemon cream filled, maple, and the Oreo one. It's only drive thru service but it was pretty fast and easy. The lemon cream filled was probably the better of the two in my opinion. The tartness help cut the sweetness so it was nice. The Oreo was a little too sweet for me. It was cool though that it was filled with Oreo filling on the inside and decorated with Oreo crumbles on the outside. The maple was pretty standard. I actually went home and added bacon on top of it and that made it even better. One thing though, all the donuts had that familiar soft texture that they are known for and that was very satisfying. I've always like Krispy Kreme better than most donut places because I liked the texture of their donuts better. I keep giving the Issaquah Krispy Kreme locstion chance after chance, the fail every single time. Extremely slow service (at my last attempt I stood at the drive-through order ststion for 13 minutes while the attendant kept saying Sorry One Moment every time I said Hello), every time I have gone there I have been told that 'we are out of fritters right now'. I don't believe they even make fritters. Every employee just uses the standard reply of 'we are understaffed right now'. Clearly this place is severely mismanaged both in terms of staffing and of product supply. On the rare occasion that I did get what I ordered, the quality was mediocre. Also, there is no list of donut flavors at the drive through menu. What is the point of the menu then?? I will never visit this location again and will tell everyone to go to TopPot Donuts instead, as they are much more on top of their business and their customer service is topnotch. I swing the drive thru by Saturday morning to grabs some doughnuts for the kids. I was told to wait while there was no one in line which was fine. I finally order the assorted minis and pulled up to wait some more. After a mediocre greeting I received the doughnuts paid and left. I had a doughnut on the way home and to my surprise they seemed to be day old. I should have stopped by Safeway and bought some hostess. Maybe I expect more from a business that may possibly make doughnuts on-site. It just is a given when I am in Issaquah that I swing by the Krispy Kreme for some doughnuts. Super convenient as it right by Home Depot and Fred Meyer with plenty of parking. Though the street between the two retailers is seriously a huge pain and confusing. This location is special because they have a drive through. How cool is that? If there is one thing that Top Pot could add, it would be a drive through. The original glazed doughnuts were the first type of doughnuts that I tried and still remain my favorite of all. Other than their signature original, they have a large selection of other doughnuts. My favorites of these being the apple fritters and jelly/filled doughnuts of any flavor. They also have a selection of coffee drinks. Have not had any here, but I have found the coffee to be pretty acceptable from past experience at other locations. Comparing Krispy Kreme with Top Pot, I would say they are pretty equal. It depends on what I feel in the mood for that determines which one I go to. The selection here is more classical, whereas Top Pot has more of a specialty doughnut feel to them. But I do like Krispy Kreme in the way that the ambiance is laidback and it is less pretentious. It is more of a grab and go joint than a Starbucks clone in which to savor sweets. read more
