The new owners allow loud, aggressive panhandling, pot smoking, yelling, music, drinking, cig smoking at all times of the day & night & within 20 feet of the door. If you live in the neighborhood you can hear it. They also charge homeless cell phones on graveyard shift. Many people are choosing the other 7/11 down the street. Police too afraid to kwell the problem. The owner & mgr have no idea what's going on when they're not there. Prices also higher than the other store. read more

This location is mislabeling items, with some items not labeled at all, and seems to be making up prices on the fly. Went in to buy my children some apple juice, was charged 9.58 for two small bottles. I asked why, since they were labeled 2.89. Cashier on duty promptly grabs the apple juices back from me, silently opens the cash register and hands the money over. I said to him that I didn't want the money back.. I just wanted the price honored (Two thirsty, small children in the car) and he ignores me.. A very unnecessary experience, and one I've seen before near Wilshire at a location that was purposefully leaving items unlabeled and then trying to charge random prices. Haven't ever had a problem at this location until today and the worker seemed more interested in harassing homeless people in the vicinity than providing good customer service. read more

Went to 7-11 on Olive and Victory for free slurpees on July 11th w/ our kids around 10am only to be told they don't start giving slurpees till 11am till 7pm. Thought that was odd since they are not called 11-7, so we went to another 7-11 on 843 West Glenoaks Blvd and they welcomed us w/ a big friendly smile and pointed to where we could get the cups. We ended up getting slurpees and hotdogs and the kids where super happy! Just wanted to share the quality of service we received. Will not be going spending my money at the one on Olive and Victory. Would gladly go the extra mile for friendly service that wants our business! read more

They use to have nice workers. Now they are super greedy, it's super hot and they are charging $2 for a cup of ice?! Like wtf has these places become. Coffee cups are in any slot and process are deceiving. Cashier didn't seem to care when price was rung up differently. What a scam. And if you want the small cup, it's in the furthest slot by hot chocolate machine. Like they force you to buy a huge cup for $2. Shady practice and rude cashier who speaks under his breath. I had stopped writing reviews because I've noticed managers/owners do not care about us, the consumers, but today, I had to speak up. I could not believe what I heard and heard. There are new non speaking employees at this store extremely rude and just waiting to get beat up. There were 2 young kids. The first one bought a cup from "shahid", went and filled up with ice water came back and the other cashier made him pay for ice after arguing, and the cashier who doest understand nor speak English, his friend was behind him was buying a Starbucks bottle coffee, he decided not to buy it after seen how his friend was treated, "shasid" started yelling as he was walking away...what happened, ni buy, you no money, no money!? The kid responded what? Don't assume anything, why don't you see the car I'm driving, and the car my friend is driving. I just told him not to even waste his energy they don't even realize what they are saying or what you're saying. Again, it is upon the managers and/or owners to at least train them on customer service, if they don't dominate the language, a great customer service goes a long way! read more

I go specifically to 7-11's seeking out their delicious Hazelnut coffee and this location has it freshly brewed 24/7! Most don't. For this alone I will give 5 stars! I love their coffee and will now only come to this location for coffee stops. Plus, the gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and polite. That means a lot to me as a customer. In addition everything was stocked and very clean! And a personal favorite of mine, Nerds candy is carried here, so yeah!!! :) read more

This is for the 7-Eleven at 265 East Olive Burbank, Ca. (Olive & Victory). Everyday I go in twice; morning and evening. Lately, mistakes are made keeping me in the store 20-30 minutes more than I need to be. I either get charged for things I didn't buy, like iced coffee and hot coffee, or charged for more than I got, like 2 coffees instead of 1, or not being given a discount even though there are signs on the shelf. This morning I was not given the proper change back because they had no change. The cashier expected me just to leave with them owing me money. Are you kidding me?? Do I get to leave if I owe money??? This pattern of messing me up at the reguster has been happening for weeks. Unfortunately, it's convenient and would be problematic to go elsewhere. Super annoying and disappointing. I am then kept on the store 20-30 minutes longer than norrnal trying to resolve the problem. To date, for the time I spend in the store, I never see anyone treated as poorly as I am. E everyone else seems to have a seemless transaction. read more

The owner is rude and inconsiderate. I work Amazon dilvery and there is a Amazon locker located at this location... i asked to use the restroom and he was very rude and refused to allow me to use it. We spend 10 hours a day in a van and that's the least he could do. It's funny we all forget how the world operates based on our perspective; one might exclaim 'opinions not facts.' Take for example 7-Eleven. It came to no surprise to me that this establishment was deep into the yellow pits of bad Yelp reviews. But it really made me wonder what other 7-Eleven experiences these people had that would ever compel them to decide it wasn't a 5 Star 7-Eleven visit. I've been stopping at 7-Elevens and snagging a slurpy and bag of sours since I was a wee little wee. I still do it today at the uncanny age of 28, only now I feel a strong sense of disappointment in myself when I spot an assortment of Flaming Hot Cheetos and inevitably purchase said Cheetos and eat them with no regard to the lining of my stomach. But I digress, the experience hasn't changed... Actually, I would go as far to say it isn't an experience. 7-Eleven is a pit stop to an experience. And that experience is up to you. If you've left with lotto tickets, a pack of cigarettes, and a large 99¢ iced coffee, well you've written the very fabric of your existence... 7-Eleven was simply a witness. Kinda like when you eat ice cream out of the carton like its a bowl of beans in a state of intense depression and your dog is watching. The major difference being your dog wants a piece of that action, and 7-Eleven employees want as little to do with you as possible. Part of the bad reviews come from the complaint of homeless people outside the building. Well, first of all, that's a result of the location... Not 7-Eleven. So blaming them is like accusing a beautiful woman at a bar of attracting drunken horny bachelors. She's just trying to order Vodka Tonic; because she thinks it has fewer calories than most drinks. Well, it doesn't, but it will glow under a black light. Quinine. Fun facts. Secondly, I've read that the employees at 7-Eleven are rude. From my experience if you get your crap and leave, they leave well enough alone. Especially if you literally took a crap, and then took that crap that you took, and then left with it. I've seen them argue though... Arguing with the customers so high out of their minds they claim to have given the clerk a one hundred dollar bill and they won't let it go until you give them their money back or they pass out from alcohol poisoning. Believe me; these clerks have been held up at gun point, vomited on, screamed at, and worse... They've had to listen to your attempts at small talk after your first run at shrooms. Which sounds a bit like this... "You gotta lot of those bags of it out there..." "I'm sorry sir?" "Sorry..............Erhm....... Can I get the order?" "Sir you have not paid." "Oh, OH! Oh. Yeah. Do you need some, graph paper?" So all I'm saying to you is this; in the world of Yelp, what's a 5 star Yelp experience to you? For me it's getting what I want, and leaving without winding up on the news. If for you, it's great customer care, a lack of homeless people, and quality food and drink, you might be in the wrong area, or... your standards are dangerously low. Like low-low. I haven't been to a 7-Eleven in awhile and now I remember why. The workers are rude especially the guy who works at this store #19709. (I only know this cuz I looked it up on the store website, hehe!!) Anyhoo, I came to this one because the one down the street aka Kwik-E Mart was lined around the building. I hate lines! I walked in, hoping to find any Simpsons related stuff but there was none except squishees. I wanted an extra cup for my squishee aka slurpee because the cups don't last too long and tend to leak. He flat out told me that he would have to charge me double even if it's empty. So I put away the extra cup and wrapped my cup with extra napkins. At least that was still free! Rudeness of this magnitude needs to be immediately rectified. I went in to purchase a coca-cola slurpee. The machine wasn't working, and so I decided I wouldn't want a slurpee after all. So i threw away the (now-ruined by an inch of syrupy slushee) cup. After going outside and talking to my girlfriend, we decided on a different flavor instead. I then went back inside to purchase two slurpees, and was immediately yelled at by the cashier for wasting a cup. I told him that it wasn't my fault the machine wasn't working, upon which he threatened to call the POLICE if I didn't pay for the extra cup. I told him this was reprehensible, and ended up leaving with two slurpees I didn't actually want. This is the only 711 that allows homeless to stand outside to beg, eat and smoke. Then pee by the sandwich shop. Its annoying, disrespectful to patrons. As well as gross as far as per is concerned. The last several nights a lady has been sleeping in front of the store and smoking. You don't see this at any other location. This is not San Fernando or sun valley. I used to help them but after disrespectful homeless. I got fed up and stopped as these homeless give a bad rap to homeless trying to be acceptable. This guy (who works nights) has no respect for customers, doesn't respect the legal 2am rules for buying alcohol and decides when HE thinks it's appropriate, doesn't matter if there is still time. I just left this store and will ever return. So I go in the store before work as I ALWAYS DO. As I'm walking past someone to go into the next aisle. This white woman turns around and starts yelling at me about social distancing. I'm not even in line behind her. Then another white woman feels the need to jump into the conversation violently yelling at me. Then they BOTH began to yell at me. They tell the owner that I need to leave. He asks if I have a mask and I say, "You know what it's in my car and if I leave I won't come back." Now, if had addressed me as soon as I came into the store, I would have simply walked to my car and gotten my mask and returned and bought me items. Me being a young black woman played a part in how these two middle aged entitled white women felt that they could talk to me the way that they did.
