I am way overdue for an updated review to this lovely shop, so here it goes. They make the best mocha in town, no question. Their cream tops on iced drinks are delicious. My partner loves the bacon cheddar scone. The Burrata Tricolore, the Parma Dolce, and the Mortadella Sorrento paninis are all to die for! The focaccia they use is so freaking good! Just as good or better than anything I had in Italy. The balance of flavors is so nice and they are big sandwiches. Easily sharable! Ever since they opened, they have consistently improved their space and evolved their menu. Seasonal specials are thoughtful and creative. Every single thing I've had here has been outstanding - well constructed, well balanced flavors, expert attention to detail. The people here are all so sweet and so good at what they do. Service is warm, personal and engaging. Community springs up around this shop. They are continually experimenting and sharing with their customers. Delightful people, delightful drinks, outstanding paninis, very comfortable space, good music, excellent vibes. Favorite Burbank spot, for sure. If I could give more stars, I would. read more

I live in downtown Burbank so any new business that moves in is always worth a try. I like Cafe Grano. I like that you can sit outside and watching the bustling traffic (that's a joke) -- if only Burbank became the valleys Third Street Promenade but hey one Burbankian to another can dream. Ok so they have good coffee and it's def the strong kind. Settle for small unless you want a jolt. Anyways I digress -- good coffee, good pastries, and nice spot to hang if you want to get out. The service can be spotty but we're all human so no worries. Oh and they also have gelato! Good addition to downtown Burbank! Let there be more! read more

We've come here a couple of times now every time we stay nearby. This time we came we ordered a sage cheddar croissant, a cherry bomb muffin, a honey anise nutmeg latte, and a green smoothie. The cherry bomb muffin had custard inside of it, which was unexpected but my partner enjoyed it. The sage cheddar croissant was pretty good but my only complaint was that even after they warmed it up, the croissant was still just lukewarm but still fresh. The green smoothie has no added sugars and was very fresh, almost like a juice. The honey anise nutmeg latte was very good and it was nice they put it in the mug we brought. Staff members are pretty kind though the space is on the smaller side. Overall, this is a small place with like 4 indoor tables and a small bar stool area and an outdoor table. But the food and drink here are pretty high quality. read more

Café Grano is fairly new to me, but the moment I noticed it, I knew I had to try it. I'm always on the lookout for good coffee spots in Burbank, and this one did not disappoint. I stuck with my usual order -- an iced latte with whole milk and no sweetener -- and wow. You can definitely taste the quality of the coffee. It was smooth, rich, and didn't need anything added to it, which is always a good sign. No bitterness, just really solid coffee. The vibe is nice and welcoming, and it already feels like one of those spots you could easily make part of your regular routine. Was not a fan of this place the first time I visitred but the second time was delicious. They have delicious almond croissants (especially the filling) and rose lattes (among other things). I'd like to try a panini sometime. It's a small coffee shop on the corner of dowtown Burbank, with good service, sandwiches, baked goods, smoothies, and coffee... A great place for a snack or a break from San Fernando blvd. :) It's quite small, the furniture is admittedly a bit flimsy (the inside tables for example) so just be careful not to accidentally topple anything over. :) read more

I was planning to go to this coffee shop for a while. I finally had the opportunity to go and have coffee. I can say I found my favorite coffee shop in the area. I would like to give big shout out to the young lady with curly hair for making an awesome Latte. I can say it was the best one I had recently. After couple of tasteless lattes, I finally had a great tasting latte. Thank you young lady for the awesome latte. For ambiance, this location has both indoor and outdoor seating area. When I visited the weather was nice, so I sat outside and enjoyed my latte. Around noon, it can be busy. However, drinks are made fast. My drink was ready in less than five minutes which I really appreciate. For parking, there is both street parking and public parking. read more

Amazing place! I love coming here to study and get my coffee fix! Today I had a caprese verde and asked them to add a few slices of prosciutto inside! I also got their Kyoto matcha with a lemon honey cream top which was soooo delicious and creamy. I don't usually like matcha that's too sweet so this was perfect! They also have cookies, pastries (which aren't pictured) and gelato flavors of all sorts! I tried the marshmallow (my favorite) and I will definitely be coming back to get a scoop of that once it's warmer out! Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is cozy & welcoming! Got a pumpkin spiced latte with a creme top! I asked which creme top they recommend and they suggested the honey anise nutmeg one so I got that. They also asked if I liked my drinks on the sweet side so I assume they added a little extra sweetner to the drink. Overall, this was good but felt very pricey. I would go again to try one of their specials but wouldn't order a basic item like a mocha at this price point. read more

I had seen this cafe on my search for a cute coffee spot and had been wanting to check it off my list. Went on a Tuesday morning with my daughter and right off the bat, we were kind of let down. The cafe was empty and there was one person behind the counter and when we walked in he just glanced over at us but didn't even acknowledge us. I was instantly disappointed but we ordered our drinks and a pastry. Again, during checkout at hardly got a peep out of him. I'm not saying I need over the top customer service but some acknowledgment and a few words go a long way. Especially if the cafe is empty. The three Star rating is only for the beverages and croissant. They were delicious! Really good matcha flavor. I've really been wanting to try this strawberry matcha I see everywhere. I was not really crazy about real chunks of strawberry being in my drink. Maybe you would but it was not for me. The fruit kept getting stuck in my straw. Restroom inside but needs a code and it was too busy for me to get it. The paninis sound amazing. Every latte I've had here was made with care. I also often get delivery when working from home and it's just as good brought to your door. My favorite is the Honey Anise latte and while I know it's on the seasonal menu I hope they keep it. I'd come in every day if I could afford it. It airs a little on the pricier side, at around 6 bucks for a small cappuccino, but such is life. The vibe was cute and the space felt small but comfy. The service was good as well. Barista was extremely friendly and apologetic that they had already sold out of so many baked goods, but there were still 8+ to choose from so wasn't and issue. This cute and cozy cafe is within walking distance from where I work and I love to treat myself to an iced matcha sweetened with honey twice a month. Their prices are better than other competitors including big chains while their quality is superior! Street parking nearby is paid but there are structures a bit further out that are free.
