When I'm passing by on the 5 I always make a point to fill up at Costco Gas on Burbank Blvd. It's simply one of the best gas stops around down, almost right off the freeway easy to get to and easy to get out. There are lots of gas pumps, so getting in and out is generally quick and hassle free even during busier times. I'm not sure but it seems that they have over 21 pumps. It's pretty fast even if there is a line. The staff is helpful and the station is well organized and clean. Perfect for a morning fill up or before you go home from work. Try to find a more popular spot in the costco gas line on any given day! Its not surprising to see this line wrap around out of costco onto Victory Blvd - or to wait for a long time to make it to the pump. If you have the ability to arrive early - you will most likely be able to avoid any lines! I'd say any time before 8am is ideal! I live very close and tend to try to get there at 6am and am in and out in 5 minutes, if you have the ability to do that or anytime before 8, its a. game changer. Cannot complain about gas prices being the lowest and they move the customers pretty quickly!

Stopped by today (Tuesday) around 1:15 hoping the lines were not too long / moved quickly. As we pulled up there were 2 employees directing cars to keep lanes even and flowing. They blocked off lanes with cones when full. There are 3 pumps each lane each side. The hoses do reach if you need to fill on side opposite of pump. Lines flowed pretty quickly, took us 5 minutes to reach the pump. Would have been sooner had the person 2 cars ahead realized the furthest pump was available. Regular was $4.89 today! read more

This place is still my go to location for gas. Overall, the place is pretty clean and I like that they have 3 pumps per line these days. Although the lines are longer since the gasoline prices went up, I don't mind waiting. Just plan to wait 10-20 minutes to save a few dollars if it's worth it to you. It's also hit or miss with the employees out there. Until today they have all been very nice, whenever I've interacted with them or seen them out there helping other people. The time before last that I was there there was a taller Hispanic man who was helping with the flow of traffic into the lines. He was super helpful and he led me to a line. What great service! This morning I was really surprised when I heard one of the employees (short man with brown hair) make a comment about a woman in a van, implying that she was a bad driver. Super close to the I-5 Burbank Blvd exit... long lines to get in at rush hour, but goes pretty quickly - the right 2 row of pumps are dedicated to people coming in from Burbank Blvd... whereas the left 2 rows of pumps are for people who came in from the main Costco parking lot. Exiting to Victory Pl to get back onto Burbank Blvd to get back onto the freeway makes life as a commuter/traveler pretty easy! Service - as gas lines back up beyond the parking lot, two staff members sit on the side talking with each other. Normally, they have a staff member guiding traffic but not today. By Costco allowing this to happen, it suggests Costco becomes Sam's Club quality and so much for the customer positive experience. I pulled into the gas station with plenty of open gas pumps at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning. I love that I don't need to swipe my card through the card reader. I just tap my Costco visa card on the reader and put the nozzle in the gas tank. It is best to enter from the Burbank Blvd/Victory Place intersection instead of further down Victory Place or from Lake St since you will have to drive around the parking lot if you do. This station has 8 lanes with 3 pumps each, which means that while the lines will always be long, they move fairly quickly. There is a LED sign in front of each lane showing the status of each gas pump, whether it is free or occupied. This is great so you will always know when a pump frees up and can make your way to the appropriate spot. So convenient! And you can tap to pay at the pump. With the Costco Citi card, you just have to tap once (instead of entering your membership card and then entering your payment card). Once again, so convenient! Cheapest gas in town! According to GasBuddy, this Costco has had the lowest gas price in Burbank over the last few days. But while Costco's price is cheap, its quality is not. This gas meets the Top Tier standards developed by ten leading auto manufacturers. Costco has been upgrading its gas stations, and this station now features 8 lanes with 3 pumps each, and fortunately there was not a broken one in sight. An LED sign in front of each lane shows whether each spot is occupied, so no more trying to guess if a car up front has pulled out when there's a large SUV blocking your view. Per multiple signs, masks are now required when out pumping gas here. A minor inconvenience with the upside of protecting and showing concern for one another. Like with other Costco gas stations, traffic flows only one way. So I advise entering from W Burbank Blvd, not N Lake St, otherwise you'll have to maneuver through the parking lot and swing around to the entrance to the gas station, which could be especially inconvenient during busy times. read more
