Solid Italian restaurant with really good food. The complimentary garlic rolls were warm but not hot. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our meal here! The bruschetta chicken was juicy and flavorful. The pasta with it was light and delicious. The chicken parm was quite good, but the bolognese sauce was the star of the meal. This was one of our favorite meat sauces we've had in quite a while. We finished the meal with a complimentary budino that our server brought to us as first time guests. The butterscotch flavor was light and creamy, so good! It was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Service was very good, our primary server was on top of things and the other people helped him out as well. Manager checked on us too. The restaurant is fairly small and was pretty full. From the outside, it's very unassuming but inside was nice and felt cozy.

Quiet and cozy little spot but busy!! Delicious! Came here before seeing the phantom of the opera at the Pantages! Everything was good and the leftovers tasted even better the next day! Highly recommend and I will be back.

Having been here several times over the past several years, I'm surprised this is my first review! Anyway, this hole-in-the-wall restaurant is an amazing find! By all accounts, you wouldn't think it's all that great figuring its location and size but believe me when I tell you, don't be fooled! The food here, as well as the service, is top notch! I don't think I've EVER had a bad meal here. One day I'm gonna work up the courage to try their pizza as many people seem to love it. I really can't find anything to complain about really other than maybe I wish they had a more spacious layout? Outside of that, my advice (if you are wondering) is to not miss out and make reservations TODAY! You won't regret it!

Tucked into a cozy corner in Burbank , this small Italian pasta spot delivers an experience that feels both intimate and memorable. The space itself is charming, with options to sit indoors for a warm, rustic ambiance, at the bar for a more lively vibe, or out on the patio for a relaxed, al fresco feel. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, genuinely welcoming. The food is where this place truly shines. Every pasta dish tastes fresh, rich, and made with intention--perfectly cooked noodles paired with flavorful, well-balanced sauces. A special touch that doesn't go unnoticed: the complimentary garlic bread. Served warm, buttery, and perfectly crisp on the outside. Overall, this restaurant proves that you don't need a large space to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Between the high-quality dishes, inviting atmosphere, and standout service, it's a place you'll find yourself wanting to return to again and again.

I found this hidden gem tucked away in a Vons parking lot! I'm not gonna lie the location had me skeptical but as soon as we stepped inside we knew we found the perfect date night spot. The ambiance was so fun and had a cute romantic vibe. The inside is a bit small but it adds to the cute romantic atmosphere. The staff was INCREDIBLE. I wish I got our waiters name but he was extremely nice and attentive. His suggestions were great and he was very kind. The garlic knots were delicious! I will say the vodka pasta wasn't my favorite. I am a big spicy vodka gal and this one didn't really blow me away but it was good. My family enjoyed their dishes as well. Ambiance: 5 Staff: 5 Food: 4

I love having a great local Italian restaurant! It's in a plaza which makes parking very convenient and it's a very cozy vibe inside. We always come back for just the hot honey pizza and the shrimp scampi. They are very very good. Service is always good too. I knock off one star because it can be inconsistent where one day it's very good and another day it's just okay but I still keep coming back!

We came back here for the fifth time, and it somehow keeps getting better every visit. The first four times we came were during COVID when they were doing al fresco dining, and even then the experience was amazing so we already knew the food was something special. This time dining in again just confirmed it. Every single item we ordered was absolutely delicious perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. You can tell there's real consistency in the kitchen, which is rare and so appreciated. They start you off with warm garlic knots, which are honestly addictive and set the tone right away. On top of the incredible food, the service really stood out. Carlos, our server, was attentive, friendly, and super engaging with the table without ever being overbearing. He made the whole experience feel welcoming and personal. The ambiance was perfect for a group of friends or a romantic date night. Safe to say, we'll definitely be back again (and again). Highly recommend!

We visited MA's Italian Kitchen for the first time to celebrate a birthday lunch, and we were not disappointed! Apart from the amazing food, our server Rene was what really made our experience great. This is a great spot in Burbank for any occasion. Appetizers Bruschetta (5/5) - The tomatoes and microgreens were extremely fresh and marinated well, I definitely recommend getting 8 instead of 4 since they were so good. Calamari (3/5) - Probably the only mid part of this whole meal, it was just.. ok... Mains Chicken Milanese (5/5) - The chicken was cooked perfectly, slightly crispy outside but extremely tender and juicy inside. The arugula and lemon vinaigrette also added a nice bright flavor. Meat Lasagna (5/5) - My dad always orders a lasagna when we eat Italian, and he said this is one of the best he's ever had! Ravioli Rosa (5/5) - Cheese ravioli with a pink sauce that is so good you eat the extra with bread. Definitely recommend! Dessert Butterscotch Budino (5/5!!!) - This was complimentary since we were celebrating a birthday, but wow I would absolutely order this again and be more than happy to pay for it. Even though the rest of our meal was all around fantastic, this was definitely the highlight. We ate it so fast I don't even have a picture of it. I 100% recommend MA's, and we will definitely be back!

Just found this small restaurant set back in a corner of a strip mall next to Von's. Read the reviews on it and really wanted to try it. I have to say I was not disappointed. We shared a Cesar salad, Mozzarella sticks, and a small pepperoni pizza. I will always try a small pizza when I go to a new Italian restaurant as I feel it shows me a lot the flavors they favor. The only negative was that the marinara sauce for the mozzarella was just ok. I do have to say that their main courses were all excellent. We had the shrimp scampi, mushroom ravioli and chicken Marsala. Highlight I felt was the mushroom ravioli. If it's your first time they let us try their signature desert which was a Carmel desert that I felt was the best. We also tried the pistachio cake and passion fruit pan a cotta. The pan-a cotta is vegan so we noted that the texture was firm. The reason I gave this place a five was due to their excellent service by all of the staff. Seth and his staff work very well with each other and were very attentive.

We had a great evening at this neighborhood italian restaurant. Not sure if the man was the owner or the manager... but he took care of us from the moment we arrived. Offered us drinks while we waited for our table which was not long at all. Our server was friendly & attentive. The owner/manager came personally to check on our table... and even joked around with us. That alone made our evening. But it's not gonna be a great evening if the food was not good. And glad the food was fantastic. After dinner, they sent us a budino on the house which was absolutely delicious.

We ordered online for pick-up, very accessible website. When I picked up our orders, the restaurant was packed and there was a queue. We ordered Chicken Piccata, the chicken was so the tender and it was rich in flavor. My partner ordered Ma's Classic Spaghetti & Meatballs, the pasta was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious overall. This is definitely going to be on my list for an Italian dine-in experience in Burbank.

We started with the delicious garlic knots. They came out warm and definitely a great way to start the meal. We also ordered a calamari to share. It was pretty good. Nothing special. We also got the Burrata Caprese appetizer to share and it came with a giant ball of Burrata on a bed of tomatoes, which was delicious. It was definitely my favorite appetizer. We tried to bowl the sweat pea soup. It was very watery. We got a Caesar salad to share with a table. It's a huge portion, so share it with the least four people. I got the mushroom ravioli. It was pretty good. The ravioli came in a marsala sauce and there were a lot of mushrooms. The only thing that I thought was a bit weird was that the ravioli were fried on one side before that they were before they were thrown in the sauce. We got the medium cut steak special, which came with asparagus and mashed potatoes. It was well cooked and tender. Highlight of the meal was the white pizza. If you get anything above a very small, make sure you share it with the table. We also got the vodka pasta. It's a pretty big portion well seasoned and quite delicious. For dessert, we had a tiramisu Panna cotta and pistachio cake. The Panna cotta was definitely the best and the pistachio cake was dry. Overall, pretty good experience for my birthday. We sat outside at the patio and it was nice and not too cold. The staff was very kind and accommodating. I can't wait to come visit again.

I really wanted to love this place. The reviews are amazing and we were finally able to go for lunch since dinner can be harder to get a reservation. We went pretty early so it was empty and the waiter was very nice. He explained the menu and was really helpful. The appetizer was fine (caprese) but unfortunately the main courses were not what we were hoping for. I ordered the cacio e Pepe with shrimp. The shrimp was crispy but to get that level of sear they had massively overcooked it. It was tough/ rubbery and really hard to eat. The sauce for the pasta was also pretty watery and flavorless. I never do this as I don't want to make people feel bad but I did end up sending it back. They brought out a margarita pizza instead which was also a bit weird. The middle was very soggy and there were large globs of cheese on top of another cheese layer which made the dish overwhelming. My husband had the bolognese. The sauce itself wasn't bad but the pasta was overcooked. I felt really bad as the people working there were all so nice but unfortunately we just didn't like the food.

The ambiance is absolutely magical and easily ranks among my top 10 dining experiences in Southern California. I've been coming here for well over a decade, and it has never lost its charm. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, enjoying a romantic date night, meeting friends for brunch, or simply treating yourself to an unforgettable meal, Ca' Del Sole delivers every single time. The food is exceptional. Every dish is beautifully prepared with the quality, elegance, and attention to detail you'd expect from an upscale restaurant in France or Italy--but at prices that are surprisingly reasonable. It's rare to find a restaurant that feels this luxurious without the luxury price tag. Their brunch is outstanding, dinner is absolutely spectacular, and every meal feels like an occasion. The service is equally impressive. It's not unusual to spot an A-list celebrity dining here, but what I love most is that everyone is treated like a VIP. The hospitality is warm, genuine, and consistently exceptional. The staff has a way of making every guest feel welcome, appreciated, and completely taken care of. I especially love the beautiful cabanas and garden patio. It's one of those places where you find yourself lingering because you simply don't want the experience to end. The shop is completely non-descript from the street. The lettering is small and the windows are tinted and you feel like you're about to enter a drab office, but when you open the door, you're treated to a feast for the senses. The space spans a mix of cafe, boutique gift shop, and bodega. Everything feels curated and little discoveries await you for those who are culinary minded. For example, I discovered that they sell frozen burritos from Las Palmas and frozen pizzas from Mozza?! Someone clearly knows their way across the culinary food map of Los Angeles. If you can pry your eyes long enough from wandering the corners of the store, you can finally place your order of breakfast, lunch or coffee/tea. I just took my cold cuts sandwich on house-made ciabatta to the proverbial mattress. The bread had enough structure to handle the piles of quality deli meats, yet was less dense than some other ciabatta breads I've tried. But, it did an admirable job packing in the flavors from the spicy peppers, cheese, meats. Wow. I'm just gonna say that this cold cuts sandwich was one of my top 3 from LA. As I grazed the bakery display, a patron whispered that I should try the biscuit with jam and butter. The guy was wearing Cheetos socks so I immediately felt that his recommendation was trustworthy. I threw in my lot with the biscuit and oh boy, did it (and his recommendation) deliver. Humble looking on the outside, there's a nice salted, buttery crust to the exterior that opens up to an inviting platform to slather on creamy butter and jam. I fully understand why he felt the extra calories were worth it. I'd do it again. Of course, I couldn't order a biscuit without a drink, so I tried their summery limoncello cream iced matcha with oat milk - summers in Kyoto and Sicily combine for a refreshing and satisfyingly creamy bever-"aaage" that adds some pep to your step, even when the mercury pushes past 100. Enjoyed with the biscuit, I was darn near ready to call it a day as I had probably experienced my best moment of the day. Little Nelly is officially on my weekly rotation from here on out.

I thought it was a great burrito, but the more I ate it, the more salty it tasted so I ended up thinking it was just an okay burrito. I do wish they offered an option for sausage instead of bacon. It usually comes with marinated diced tomatoes, but I always ask for them on the side. If you dine in, the sandwich comes with two deli sides. On my last visit, I got the potato salad and marinated artichokes and both were great. The potato salad was creamy, and the artichokes were super flavorful. For dessert, I tried the tiramisu, and it was a bit underwhelming. It had a slightly gritty texture. Since it's imported from Italy, I had high expectations, but I'm guessing it's shipped frozen, which might be why it didn't taste fresh. I wouldn't order it again. They also sell Italian cookies and gelato. The cookies are good, especially the raspberry ones. The gelato is really refreshing. It's a cafeteria-style deli, so you order at the counter, pay, and then find a table. They also have outdoor seating.

Since randomly stumbling across this hole in the wall a couple months ago I have been back multiple times. My fav is the imported prosciutto sandwich, I can't get enough of it.!!!!! The people here are very kind and always take care of us well. The sandwiches are just so perfect exactly what u would think of when u imagine a classic Italian sandwich. Most of all I appreciate their authenticity among a sea of franchised sandwich shops.

Inside is large, seating 50+ people. Plenty of staff behind the counter to help ordering and preparing food. I looked over the menu and ultimate decided on the large size Italian Combo sandwich, rather than the recommended Fancy Italian Combo ((which has different proteins and a special roll). I was quite happy with it, certainly substantial in size, good flavor from multiple meats, lots of shredded lettuce. I even dipped it in the residual juices from the side tomato-cucumber salad and loved that too! The sandwich can be made into a combo that comes with 2 sides and a fountain drink. Here I found that the quality was not as good as the sandwich. The tomato-cucumber salad was the right amount of oil/vinegar, the fruit and vegetable were fresh, very solid option. The pesto on pasta shells was underwhelming. I do like me some pesto, but here it was more for visual and aroma than taste. I would try other sides before getting this one again. Lastly, the taste of their Diet Coke was odd. I thought they had given me half and half with regular coke, so I asked for them to pour me a new one, and it ended up tasting the same ‍ Given the variable quality of sides and drinks, I think I would come back primarily for the entree items, and probably evaluate my other preferred sandwich the Meatball.

The trattoria had low lighting and looked like a romantic little Italian villa with Sinatra music lilting in the background. It felt much more a date night place than a business dinner. First, the wine list by the glass had excellent, very interesting and offbeat selections. The bottle selection was really superb. Then, as a starter, we shared a white bean and lobster appetizer. It tasted absolutely amazing ... and a dish that neither of us had tried before. Our very seasoned and polite waiter told us we would enjoy it. Next, he had the lobster ravioli, and I had the salmon. Both were really cooked to perfection and wowed us. Lastly, for dessert, we split this most amazing pistachio gelato that came cut into slices with finely chopped pistachios sprinkled on top and a most delish type of pistachio paste?? inside. Angelo, the owner, stopped by and chatted with us during the meal, and we felt as though we had almost dined in someone's private home with a most amazing meal.

My fiancé had been wanting to go here for a while and we live down the street so we figured we'd try. Angelo came out and was extremely sweet and accommodating as well as our server; honestly every one of the staff were extremely sweet and helped me pick out what to order. The super Tuscany wine was amazing, the appetizers, (Roman Pruscetta and the Caesar salad) were incredible. The Pastas were also out of this world. This will be my new spot for taking anyone for a nice dinner.

Both of my pizzas had regular mozz and spicy marinara. The crust is superb, soft and pillowy. My first toppings were crumbled meatballs, jalapenos, olives, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, & minced garlic, topped with fresh basil - no notes. I got a little frisky with my second order and did sliced sweet Italian sausage, jalapenos, bell peppers, spinach, red onion, charred corn, & grape tomatoes, topped with fresh basil and a hot honey drizzle. It was phenomenal. I always order online, park in the building's retail lot (Otsego entrance), and pick up immediately - I've never had to wait. The restaurant itself is attractive (industrial chic and well-maintained) and they have beer on tap - I'll have to dine-in sometime. They also share the space with a Coldstone Creamery if you're into that.

My goal was to get some French butter as I saw they have a huge selection of it. I found so many other items like 3 freezer full of items like pain au chocolaté and croissants made in France. All you have to do is bake it at home. They also have frozen baguettes. I got frozen pastries and I also got some French butter and their selection is massive with different flavors. I typically get this butter at the grove but this place has sooo many varieties. I also picked up Italian flour (to make pizza dough) and canned pizza sauce that they recommended. I picked up some Patata Torres chips as well. Will definitely be back to explore the store more. Definitely worth the visit if you're into cooking and like gourmet foods.
