I'm probably in here about once a week for dinner, typically one of their freshly made sandwiches…read morewith a hot side or soup.  Here's why I'm a very loyal fan: the bread is ALWAYS fresh.  It's a soft sub roll, never stale, never unappetizing.  The deli ingredients and toppings are usually quite fresh as well, but to me, the foundation of a good sandwich is the bread, and I don't know how they do it, but Wawa never disappoints on that level.   They are toasting sandwiches now, which is always good.  Their mac and cheese is pretty spot on for what it is.  Their soups are usually quite good, and they will gladly offer you samples of whatever you'd like.  The menu updates fairly frequently, so there might be new items that you haven't tried before.  For instance, they've been doing quesadillas for a little while now, too.   The staff are always very friendly and approachable, even after hours and up late.  We were so glad when this location opened, and on a week night when I've been at the office entirely too late, nothing says comfort food like a dinner from Wawa.  Thank you so much, gas station food bastion!  You are the example that others should follow! I wrote the three paragraphs above about 9 years ago, and I stand by it today. The only difference is, they now finish baking the bread in-store, so it's even MORE fresh than before. They've also expanded their deli offerings quite a bit, but I still come back to the standard sandwich and soup or side. I'm also nearly addicted to their brand of flavored teas, especially the diet ones. (Trying to watch the sugar intake). They almost always have them on sale 2 for $2, which is also a bargain in addition to being so tasty. Oh, and they've also started offering online ordering. Total time saver! I do wish you could use the rewards in-app and not need to bring the phone to the store. It's a long story, but anyway... still nice to have rewards. Keep doing what you're doing, Wawa! I'm still a huge fan!

Wawa is about at rock bottom with me. It used to be the go to place for great fast food but COVID…read morereally changed things for most of the Wawas in Maryland. I don't frequent this one in Gambrills but I can certainly understand the poor rating. Went in today for lunch and ordered a chicken burrito bowl and small chicken noodle soup. Usually the bowls are pretty decent but not today! The rice and bean were not cooked properly, they were hard in places. And the guy who made it didn't put on the chipotle sauce so it was very dry to eat. I think there was about a half a teaspoon of guacamole that I paid extra for. The chicken noodle soup was mostly broth. And to add insult to injury it was 15 dollars for subpar food. It is very difficult to find workers that care. Sooo disappointed with Wawa anymore.

Heard about Kozy Beans in Crofton from the Wife, she saw something on Tik Tok…read more We decided to stop and I'm glad we did. This is a really nice, clean, local coffee with really bubbly personalities working the registers and making our coffees. Our drinks came out fast - we got the Honey Vanilla Bean Lattes, hers with oat milk, mine with almond milk and enjoyed them a lot. We will be back.

Came here for the first time on a Saturday at 11am with a group of friends. I ordered their matcha…read morelatte with 1% milk, and a ham and cheese croissant. What's Hot - Menu. Pretty good variety. There's coffee and non-coffee options. Unfortunately for me, they ran out out of chai by the time I ordered. In terms of food, there are sweet and savory baked goods. For croissants, I saw the ham and cheese; chocolate filled croissants, bagels, and other sweet and savory pastries. Later in the day, there appear to be more meal options, like sandwiches and such. - Quality. My matcha latte was pretty good. I asked for no sweetener, so the flavor of the latte was the simple matcha flavor, which I really liked. They warmed up my croissant, which helped, because it was soft. The croissant was not too salty and it had a nice flavor. - Service. Their staff appear to be on top of things. They're very nice and answered my questions. I did not wait very long for my order and it looked like everyone's order was handled smoothly and efficiently. - Price. The ham and cheese croissant was approximately $6 and my 20oz matcha latte was approximately $6. The balance came out to approximately $13. For the quality and portion size, it's pretty good value for money. - Layout. Very accommodating. There are a few bar stools at a counter near the front of the shop, several tables that seat 4 people, and a couple of couches towards the back with a coffee table in between. There is also a child size table with a couple of child size seats at the back, as well. This place appears to be popular, so be aware of the time you come here if you plan on dining in. Originally, I was hoping to snag the couches for myself and my group, but those were already taken by the time I arrived. Their bathroom accommodates physical handicaps and is a very good size. Everything inside was clean and organized. - Location. Conveniently located in a plaza with other shops and restaurants. Good size parking lot for the plaza. What's Not - No non-dairy options. I asked if my matcha latte could be made with soy milk, and their staffer responded that they only have 1% milk or whole milk. It's a little frustrating that there aren't non-dairy options, but to each their own. Just be aware. - Quality. My ham and cheese croissant was good, but it did not have as much cheese as I was hoping. I like my baked goods to have a good amount of filling. Their ham and cheese croissant was somewhat lacking. Good flavor, but not filling, so be aware. Final Answer Am willing to come back, but perhaps not a first choice.
