This place was amazing! My husband and I are still debating whether the service was better than the food! From the moment we walked in until the time we left, the entire experience was exceptional. The hospitality was top-notch, and our server, Kim, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating. When I dine out, it's important that I feel comfortable with my server because I truly believe food should be served with love. On a scale of 1 to 10, Kim was off the charts! Now for the food... I ordered the French toast and requested it extra crispy. It arrived perfectly golden brown, topped with fresh berries and real whipped cream--absolutely delicious! I also had over-medium eggs that were seasoned perfectly, although they were a little closer to over easy than medium. Still, they were very good. The only item that fell a bit short was the chicken sausage, which was average and could have used a little more flavor. My husband ordered the pancakes, and they were delicious. His bacon was cooked to perfection--crispy, flavorful, and not overly salty. Honestly, my only complaint was that I got too full to finish everything! Went here for breakfast while we were in the area. I had choose between the avocado toast and the huevos rancheros. My wife wanted a lighter breakfast so went with the continental breakfast which came with eggs to order, banana bread, and fruit. The huevos rancheros was very tasty! It's definitely something that I would order again, although I would still like to try the avocado toast as well. At many other tables, I could see traditional breakfast fare such as french toast or pancakes that also looked tasty. My wife gave me a taste of the banana bread and it was delicious! Thick cut like texas toast, and much less dense than homemade banana bread that I am used to. Alas, the server said they might discontinue it, and that they didn't have a recipe but probably ordered it. Shame, now I must find this delicious banana bread! We just finished an amazing breakfast at Mukilteo Speedway Diner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! We ordered the Strawberry Rhubarb French Toast and the Berry Blintz, both served with eggs and bacon. Everything was delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was spot-on, and both the French toast and the blintz were outstanding. The fresh fruit was a nice touch, and the whipped cream tasted like it was made fresh in-house. My husband and I used to love Red Cup Cafe, so it was especially disappointing to see the quality and value decline. The taco avocado wrap was quite expensive for what I received--about 85% lettuce, with very little meat and hardly any avocado. Came here for Sunday breakfast/brunch! It was PACKED! We had to wait about 45 minutes. They text you when your table is ready. We were told about 25-30 minute wait. The bar stools at the front of the restaurant is a first come/first serve but the booths and dining hall, you have to wait patiently for seating :) We got a table next to fireplace. It was perfect! Our server, Alex was fantastic and kind! He was super accommodating and friendly. He mentioned their special, the "hobo" scramble and that is exactly what I got! Instead of hashbrowns with the scramble, it had red potatoes! It also had 2 kinds of bell peppers, green and red and topped with cheese, green onions and sour cream. It has a choice of pancakes or toast as a side and settled with sourdough toast! I got a half order of the triple fruit French toast! It was perfect, topped with blueberries and strawberries although it was missing the third fruit of sliced bananas. We decided to let it slide as it wasn't a big deal but hence, triple fruit French toast. Topped with also whipped cream, there's a side of maple syrup and butter. My bf got the Migas! Service 5 stars. Food 2 stars. I really wanted to like this place, my daughter has cello lessons a few minutes away and we hoped it would be our mini date spot. I got a steak and eggs, and it was so disappointing, texture felt like I was chewing on a piece of leather, for $21 it was not worth it at all and honestly I doubt my steak was 6oz. Food: I ordered the triple berry French toast with bacon and eggs, and my boyfriend ordered the breakfast burrito with hashbrowns. All of the food was very good. The full order of French toast was quite large, so my boyfriend ate a good portion of it. Service: friendly and far too slow. We didn't have to wait too long to be seated at 9:30 on a Sunday morning, but once we were, everything from ordering, to food arriving, to paying the check was painfully slow. From what we could observe, the cafe has too much seating and not enough staff. Ambiance: clean with nice lighting and comfortable seating. My boyfriend didn't care for the paintings, but I didn't care one way or the other. He left the restaurant with a full bladder, thanks to a two stall men's room with no urinals. A good spot for breakfast or lunch. Service is fast and food doesn't take that long to come out. The wait time to get a table is a hit or miss depending on how many people and what time you show up. For a group of 8, it took 40 mins until we got seated on a Saturday morning. Would recommend anything on the menu. My go to entree is the Popeyes omelet. Excellent breakfast with huge portions. Our party of 5 adults were squeezed into a booth and although we barely had enough elbow room, we happily ate our hearty meals. My favorite breakfast items to order is waffles with berries and lots of whipped cream, and the same version but with French toast. They offered both. I asked the waitress which one she would recommend, and she said hands down the waffles. I ordered the Triple Berry Waffle and it was impressive. We had a side of onion rings, a veggie grilled hash, and a berry waffle. The portions are large enough for two people to share with ease. I particularly enjoy how crunchy and thin the waffles are. In addition, I like the veggie hash, which contains bell peppers, zucchini, carrots, yellow squash, and potatoes. This somewhat evens out the meal. They provide limitless drip coffee. I think this is a chain or something, but I have been to this location and the one in Issaquah and they are both so, so good. Everything I've ever gotten has been fresh, well cooked, and so hearty and filling. I've never walked out without leftovers. I arrived around 9:30 after missing my free hotel breakfast... and my room had no cream for my coffee. The place was packed, even on a weekday. My waiter was a young guy but very good! Full breakfast menu. So many options. Coffee was delish and plentiful. I ordered the Popeye omelette, had it scrambled and subbed the cheese to pepper jack. Added avo. So delish!! My wife and I went here for breakfast this morning. When you walk in there is a small cafe/diner style bar. Turn left and you walk into a cozy dining area. Turn right and there is a neat little fireplace with more of the dining area. With lots of booths and cool decor, this is a very cozy place. I got the California Omelette which was $18.95. Coffee and coke were $3.95 each. The omelette was delicious and worthy of 5 stars. The service was great, Melissa was kind and professional. Bathrooms were clean. My wife who ordered crepes came with a hair sticking out from underneath it. But don't be critical of this establishment!!! I have had that happen to me before at Panda Express and one other place in the past 20 years. It occasionally happens at food establishments. Accidents happen and because my wife and I have both worked in the food industry, we were both understanding. We informed our server Melissa, she immediately apologized and took the meal back for a new one. My wife found it before she had her first bite, so it was obvious we weren't one of those rare people who put hair in the food for a free meal after eating most of it. (those people do exist!) Because they quickly replaced her strawberry rhubarb crepes with a new one, we didn't expect anything more. But Melissa decided to take it off our bill. And that is why they get 5 stars. Accidents happen, be kind and forgiving about it, and watch that positive energy be reciprocated. They have wonderful fish and chips or if you're there for breakfast, their eggs, hashbrowns and cinnamon rolls are terrific. I even love pancakes. There's a little secret to this restaurant, if they're packed eat at the bar, the staff are wonderful and have been there forever. The cooks are great and the manager is absolutely darling. My first time visiting here for breakfast. Food was top notch. I had the corned beef hash and biscuit and gravy. Good portions, well cooked and delicious. My husband had the quesadillas and he enjoyed them. The restaurant was surprisingly crowded for a Tuesday morning so it was a bit noisier than we would have liked. Service was good but we had to ask for coffee a couple of times and didn't get it until the end of the meal so that was a bummer. Price is on par with other sites down breakfast places. The tale of bad food and food poisoning! Took my daughter to the airport. On my way back to home I stopped and had breakfast. In stead of toast, I got a biscuit and a side of gravy. The gravy was lukewarm. The biscuit was actually a dinner roll. It had been reheated and the bottom was hard as a rock. I waited for a new one and they never came back until the was finished. They comped the breakfast. Unfortunately, on the way home (Whidbey Island) I started burping sulfur. It continued throughout the day. By late evening I became very ill with food poisoning. I put over easy eggs on top, and probably ate too much, even though I took a large amount home.
