I answered my phone in the store (Which I've never been to a place that had an issue with that) and was hatefully yelled at from across the store by the worker who said that I had to go outside. I got off the phone immediately, apologized and went to text my friend that I was not allowed to speak in the store but before I could even send the message - the worker yelled at me again saying that I could not continue texting and that I was "causing issues" which STILL makes no sense to me as I was not being loud, was at the BACK of the store alone, no profanity was used, and the phone call wasn't even 2 mins long + I immediately got off and was then yelled at AGAIN in front of multiple other customers for privately texting as I waited in line? Wasn't even in the store 10 mins total. Again, I've been to convenience stores ALL my life and NEVER have I done anything to be a problem. I felt so bad that I still purchased a Dr. Pepper despite the AWFUL SERVICE, the worker would NOT make eye contact with me and didn't even offer the receipt/say goodbye. I don't know what the dudes deal was, but this was over 2 weeks ago and I am STILL flabbergasted at the treatment I received - and I regret buying the $2 pop because why would anyone support a business who treats their customers that way? No thanks. I hope whoever the worker is sees this because your behavior was so distasteful and atrocious that I made sure to leave this public review and everyone I meet, I tell to avoid this store. -10/10. Don't support this business. Yikes!

I repeatedly declared he was a service animal & the man went to get Waheem (if I remember the Second Gentleman's name correctly) to which he argued with me at the No Dogs Allowed. I huffed out with my pastry in hand, trying to hurry & tie up my dog because it's 7am; they're the only place close to the library walking & somebody was holding my spot in line as I waited for tickets to an upcoming event. So I felt very much under pressure just coming in with all of that & caloric deficit. Waheem comes out yelling at me to give him back "his stuff"! Sir, I'M ABOUT TO PASS OUT, I inform him I'm tying my dog up to a pole so I can continue shopping! To which calms down & says okay, take your time. I stand there for about 30 seconds trying to calm down from wanting to act straight ballistic & decide, I need to present myself as the woman of God that I am & they better be HAPPY I have integrity running deep in my soul, because I really wanted to spit in their face & run off with the muffin in my hand! SMH instead I proceeded to go in & spend $16 honestly NEVER spending money here ever AGAIN due to how I was treated by the staff members. I'm appalled. So many homeless out in this neighborhood, thank GOD my precious baby dog did not get stolen!!!! Appalling the way I was treated. When I came back inside Waheem attempted to explain they have open food, to which I stated again that service animals were exempt but I digress. I just need some calories & to get back to my spot in line!!!! I did end with an outlandish request, asking Waheem to sell me a cold hotdog, as a treat for my dog, so not one off the roller; to which he went out of his way to get for me, so that I genuinely appreciated & that's the only reason I added an extra star! but everything about the rest of the treatment I received?! They were under even more renovations and pavement work although it appeared that it was newly renovated. Paint work and new striping - to an already great looking place. For whatever reason I had to go to 3 different pumps to attempt to pump diesel. The first didn't accept my credit card. The second had a large big rig nozzle on it, and the third I finally got some diesel out of. I pumped I think just under $100 - my tank was low. Price was a little under $5/gallon after a slight upcharge for credit. Receipt didn't print at the pump - I kinda like them to check gas mileage once in a while.
