I visited 7-Eleven Hawaii in Hanamaulu, Kaua'i, Hawaii [3-4340 Kuhio Hwy] on Wednesday, 01/21/26, around 11 AM. What really stood out to me about 7-Eleven was the wide variety of Hawaiian food and snacks that I don't typically see back home. Some examples include dim sum, Spam musubis, bento plates, sushi, noodle bowls, and more. I decided to pick up three packs of shrimp pork hash from the refrigerated aisle and then a total of twelve pieces from the Hot & Ready area at the front counter. The dumplings tasted incredibly amazing, especially with soy sauce. I was genuinely impressed that a convenience store had snacks like this readily available. It definitely exceeded expectations. All in all, 7-Eleven in Hawaii is in a completely different league when it comes to food options. Pretty epic, for sure! read more

Before my trip to Kauai, I did some minor research on the 7-11s in Hawaii, just because that's who I am as a person. I found out that all 7-11s in HI are owned and operated by the Asian/Japanese 7i holdings (which own and operate the Japanese 7-11s). Invigorated, I was very excited to try it when I landed in Lihue. When I stepped foot in there, it was like a perfect combination of US and Japanese 7-11s. Plenty of American options, but also some Hawaiian exclusives and Japanese options too! Great hybrid store for sure. I went and got a teri chicken and egg salad sandwich, as well as some li hing watermelon candies. The candies weren't anything to write home about, but the sandwich was just as delicious as any other sandwich that I would have found in 7-11 Japan. This stop came in clutch over the course of the rest of my trip too, so I'd highly recommend it! read more

Although located in a sketchy area, it was conveniently located for me to stop by and grab some snacks after arriving at Lihue Airport. I always love 7-Eleven Hawaii because they have the best hot foods, bentos, and ready-made re-heatable meals! My favorites are the pork hash and musubis. Unfortunately, it was after 7 pm, so their hot food selection was a little light, but I was able to find the items in their refrigerated section. read more

Rude service acting ignorant. Out of 8 slurpee flavors only 3 were working at 9:10 on. Just traveling back to hotel after attending a luau. I saw this companies TV commercials and it looked like it was a fun store. But it's not don't get your hopes up here. The stores in California are just a little bit nicer. read more

The only 7-Elevens better than the ones in Hawaii are the ones in Japan. Other than that, love the variety of local hit foods like the different musubis. Also the cold food section has choke grinds, sushi, noodles. The old Filipino ladies working here are nice, but last night had one cute boy. Looked like he was still in high school. read more

Good variety of food. I was pleased to find nice selection of onigiri (Japanese rice ball with a filling wrapped in seaweed laver). I couldn't find these selection in other states. If I am ever again in Kaua'i I'll definitely return to these 7-eleven. read more

Went in here for a slurpee and a hot dog. Dogs weren't ready so we got bento boxes and sushi. It was really good and only 16 bucks for two people. I had garlic chicken and seafood salad inside out roll. Husband had this bowl with fish cake and udon, it was actually really, really good. Pleasantly surprised! read more
