The acai bowl place as poppin', I'll definitely have to come back and try it. They also sold juice shots from Kauai Juice Co and mason jars with overnight oats in all different flavors. We opted to get the PB and banana one, excited to give it a try. They sell tons of local products and meats. Unfortunately no local Kaua'i eggs sold here, go to Hoku market for that. They also sell Gina's banana bread for $8.50 near the register, they are huge portions and she doesn't skimp on the nuts, very tasty!! Stumbled upon this market in 2018, got an acai bowl and it was the best I ever had. Fast forward to 2026 and it's just as good as I remember. It's always the unassuming places that have the best stuff. I got the da dragon bowl this time and it was delicious, everything you want in an acai bowl. They can be short staffed sometimes so don't expect it to be ready right away. Service is super friendly and kind. We love this market! They used to have the most amazing poke place on the island here- Poipu Poke Shack. They moved to Lihue and renamed to Shibus. Walked just under a mile from my timeshare to this store, while waiting for my order from Da Crack in the same shopping strip. We couldn't find pineapples at Costco, and didn't have time to stop by Big Save on our first day in Kauai. Got the following: $2.89/lb for lettuce, $1.89/lb for red delicious apples, $1.69/lb for pineapple, $1.69/lb for bananas. No anjou pears, which were sold at $2.25/lb or $9 at Costco for a 4 lb bag. Surcharge for credit card use. A few days later checked the prices at Big Save in Koloa: $3.40/lb for lettuce, $2.39/lb for apples, $1.39/lb for pineapple, and $1.49/lb for bananas, and $2.69/lb for anjou pears. And you thought pineapple was cheaper in Hawaii than California. read more

I think this place is probably highly rated for their açaí bowls and poke and not so much on grocery options. We visited here as it was the only grocery store located near our condo. We set out for groceries and were a little saddened to see most of the shelves were bare. It was later in the day, so maybe they hadn't restocked and there had been a rush earlier that day. Not sure. For some reason I just have to visit this store each time I return! This visit was full of changes! The shave ice place relocated, there are independent vendors selling Hawaiian poke and goodies at the front, breakfasts are available in addition to baked goodies available for your day! At the back there is a juice shop that makes delicious acai bowls, smoothies and fresh juices. This was very busy. There's also a little shop selling gently used clothing. We loved this place. Stopped for the Poke the first time when the Koloa Fish Market was closed. The Poke was really good. We came a little late in the day so the gluten free options were somewhat limited but I still managed to eat well and it was delicious. We also got a smoothie. I tried the Lava Flow, a vegan coconut cream, pineapple, strawberry and coconut mixture. It was delicious! I went back for another one, on a different day and I watched them make it the second time around. I want to try it at home. There is a little coffee shop in the grocery store too and they threaten to have gluten free cakes but I could never get there in time to try one. I hear that the owner of the coffee shop makes them daily. The one day that I managed to there early was a Sunday and it turns out the the coffee shop is not open on Sundays. That was a bummer but it is what it is. I'll try to go back on our next visit. There will be next visit. We had so much fun exploring Kuaui. This little market also has a small consignment/used clothing shop inside. What a neat idea. Local art, consignment shop, coffee shop, smoothie bar, poke bar inside of a grocery store. It's a simple grocery store with some basics. Nothing fancy, but convenient to have if you're staying in Poipu. I will say the banana nut bread was so yummy and the pineapple fritters reheated was delicious. I was hoping to pick up some spam musubi, but at 11:00 am they were sold out. I was told to come early so I went back the day of my flight home and picked up a local meats bento box and spam musubi, both of which were delicious and hit the spot. They also have an acai bowl and poke place inside if you're looking for a lunch or dinner option. All in all a great grocery store to pick up the basics with friendly staff onsite. read more

This is a super convenient marketplace! We needed some groceries for breakfasts and lunches this week and their selection was decent! We were super surprised about how many gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian items they had in stock (including creamers, cheeses, breads, and various snacks). There are also a couple food vendors in there including an Açaí Bowl stand and there was even a little clothing boutique in the back. The only thing I wish were different were the prices. It seemed kinda steep even for staple items such as bread and lunch meat. But maybe the prices here on Kaua'i are just a bit more? Idk. While looking around they had a pop up shop for women's bikinis, vegan meats, bakery treats, alcohol, and almost anything else you could imagine lol! We came here specifically for the poke at the little counter on the inside of the market. There were only two choices as we came late. We got the garlic ahi poke and spicy ahi poke. The garlic ahi was very good and the spicy was good. This was a good stop in Koloa. read more

Not the biggest market in the Koloa area. The market is smaller than Sueoka in Old Town. There's a juicery in the back of the market where there was a line. It looks like they were backed up with only 2 people working. Definitely need more help for sure. There's also a sushi counter, but it wasn't open when I was there. Came here for the sushi but ended up not staying since it's not a sit down restaurant and it was raining outside. However, we ended up walking around and bought a number of goodies. They have a number of local seasonings (flavored salts and hot sauce etc) at a decent price. For one I can tell you the salty wahine spices are cheaper here than at the factory store. I ended up also getting some li hing gummies as souvenir. Li hing is powdered plum which is salty sweet. They also have a number of diamond bakery cookies which I have become a fan of since my visit to Hawaii. I had already bought the Costco shortbread pack as souvenir but wanted to try other flavors. The shortbread cookies are so good! The dark chocolate chip cookie is not really dark chocolate fyi. The kakimochi with rice bits was good and mildly sweet. I am giving this 5 stars because the owner is a big hearted woman who works her butt off and believes in giving local entrepreneurs a chance to establish or grow their business. This is reputed to be the only mom and pop shop left on the island and she is doing her best to fend off the corporations. From what I could tell, the prices are reasonable by Hawaii standards. Maybe everything is not as clean or upscale as the corporates like Safeway, but if you shop here you are supporting not only the family but the other businesses associated with it. The fish selection was better than what we saw at so-called fish markets. We tried some kind of bowl at Anake's Fruit bar, and it was pretty good. There is also an onsite sushi place that I cover in a separate review. Parking is hard but you deal. Support this food store. read more
