I've gotten the Longanisa Musubi - which is available at other stores. I thought it was spelled Longganisa but this was a small sausage ( insert your own joke ) so it just got the one g. Coffee choices are the same at most stores. I prefer the light roast ( as a rule ) but the medium roasts are okay as drip brewed goes. read more

Located on N King St. at Kokea St., this location has junk parking. About 5 stalls fronting the store and another 5 on the side. I say junk because if you want to turn into the lot from N King St and someone is backing out of a stall, you end up blocking traffic until the vehicle has completely exited. Kind of scary being exposed like that on a major thoroughfare. (Toshi's up the road is the same way.) Just be careful. The store is super clean despite the outside inhabitants. Staff take pride in their store and it shows! Morning staff are very friendly and patient, having to deal with the occasional grumpy person who is late for work but needs a spam musubi and coffee. The ATM is located in the front East corner of the store, past the glass windows. Again, be aware of who's around you while using it. Not a large store, but its nicely stocked with hot and cold grab 'n go items. Bentos, sandwiches, turkey bacon is my favorite, yogurt, boiled peanuts, broken glass jelllo, lunchables, sour cream. Manapua, pork hash, by the bag of 6 or 8 cold, or by the piece hot, up front. In the heater up front are taquitos, so yummy! Monterey jack and chicken, beef, as well as hot dogs (I wish they would bring back the chili and cheese. It was the best.), breakfast sandwiches, mini bento with musubi, smokies and egg, or musubi and karaage chicken are a few favorites. The famous spam musubi are a plenty as well as chicken musubi. The frozen reefers contain a wide variety of novelty ice cream snacks to suit ANY mood. The center aisles a stocked with candies, chips, cookies as well as on the go notions for home and car, and toys for the keiki. Reusable shopping bags & totes are available for purchase. Born and raised in Hawaii you prolly been to almost every 7-11 at least once . Well this location , just won the worst 7-11 location on the island . There's some good 7-11's , but this location , has the worst workers . They all speak English but maybe they cannot understand English ?? I'm not sure . But not only that ; but I was talking to one of the male workers , on the night shift and he was REALLY RUDE !!!! I wouldn't be surprised if they lost a lot of customers because the workers cannot comprehend and they are rude. A few times a month, I would come to this 7-Eleven Hawaii location since it's relatively close to my workplace. I would either get a Slurpee or purchase a monthly bus pass. Now I just usually come for the Slurpee's. I've always thought 7-Eleven was a Hawaii based store, bred in the islands. I recently found out that that's not the case. Still, it has become an island institution where grab and go items can be purchased here. My experience here each time was limited to about 15 minutes, depending on how long the lines are. The service here is nice and friendly, while being quick and efficient. There's usually a quick hello, but other than that, the transaction is quick and painless. 7-Eleven Hawaii is known for their musubi's that cost around $1.00 or so, depending on what's on it. It's a quick meal or snack that I try to remember getting while shopping for other things. The Slurpee's and the Big Gulps are nice and reasonably cheap for those who love that. They also sell a variety of quick comfort foods and a plethora of drinks, as well as ice cream. They try to stock what most people want in a quick and fashionable way. The ambiance of the store is nice and casual and the store itself is reasonably large to maneuver in thru the aisles. Not sure if they have public WIFI here, but there's central air conditioning. The overall experience here at 7-Eleven Hawaii was typical and average at the same time. While the experience was nice and casual, it's basically a grab and go affair. Get in and out without much drama and be out on your way type of thing. I do enjoy the fact that they have assorted drinks, including water, chocolate milk, and soft drinks, as well as beer and other assorted alcoholic beverages. Prices here can be a little higher than of supermarkets and other stores, but it's location that most people come to any place that's convenient for them. For the most part though, 7-Eleven has been there when I needed to buy that monthly bus pass or I just felt like grabbing a Slurpee just because. On this last trip to 7-Eleven, I managed to grab 2 musubi's and a chocolate milk, which seemed reasonable and priced right without breaking the wallet or the caloric intake. If you love local comfort food that's easy to grab and go, consider coming to this or one of 7-Eleven Hawaii's locations island wide. This particular 7-Eleven location is situated at 1136 North King Street in the Kailihi district of urban Honolulu. They accept major credit cards, which is always a good thing. However, during the current pandemic COVID-19, face masks are required and credit cards are definitely preferred over cash due to safety reasons. As far as parking goes, they have a small parking lot area to park in, which they share with other merchants in the vicinity. If you are like me, a bunch of bus routes come through the Dillingham Blvd area, namely 9, 40, 42, 43, 51, and 52. I believe all 7-Eleven locations, including this one, is open 24 hours a day, which is nice if you really need something at any point of the day. Just be careful if you are in the area late at night or early morning. 11/2 2:54pm the male employee who answered the phone was very rude, and hang up the phone without answering the questions. My parents went to the store to renew the Holo card on 10/31, but tried to use it today was got scold by the bus driver because the card didn't have any funds. My mom had to pay for her ride. Unfortunately we couldn't find the receipt but we knew exactly the time that my parents Renew the holo card in the store, and asked if they could check the camera, the male employee said that's a problem and the manager not there and asked us to come back tomorrow morning. My parents and I got our free slurpees yesterday at this 7-11! We were lucky that not too many people were in the store getting slurpees, perhaps because the poor machines were overworked earlier in the day, and the slurpee mixes needed time to freeze. The poor workers seemed overworked as well! Lina was so busy cleaning the slurpee area and telling people to wait. I hope she got paid time and a half! She deserves it! Usually stop here late at night on my way home from work for my typhoon popcorn craving :) (sour cream, chives, furikake) mmmm It's like 3 bucks a bag n I'm addicted to them. Pretty convenient 7 eleven . You can get snacks, gas, cigs, booze and money from the atm. Not in that particular order :P Only bad thing about this location is really late at night you can find your share of creatures. Anywhere from the homeless guys/ chronics from the canal hanging outside. Or the late nite party goers getting a late night snack. This location is terrible. The trash can in the front was open and blocking the walkway, with trash all over. There are 3 payphones in the front that are all vandalized and broken. There are very aggressive panhandlers in the front that harass you for money. When I informed the workers, they said they are always there..!?! It looks like something you would expect in a very low income neighborhood. I have gone a couple of times, where the sketchy characters in the front made me afraid to get out of my car, so I went to the nearest gas station convenience store instead. Also, the prices are not accurate. They don't care where they put items, and it's deceptive. I stopped to pick up ice cream, and the tag said $5.49, but at the register it rang up at $7.99. When I checked, it was a tag for a different brand. They don't care if the prices are accurate. They just stock items in front of any price tag.. I think the State should send weights and measures to audit. Overall, I wouldn't go to this location unless I was in the area, and I didn't have a choice.
