Hayward Mission Blvd 7/11 near Lemon Crab encountered the rudest nastiest unprofessional middle aged with heavy makeup clerk/Karen who was struck with an attitude because the price advertised and what she charged me wasn't updated or correct. The customer service is very poor there a lack of training I have an encounter with I went in the store to purchase some things got to the register run up all my things I also have my 2-year-old toddler shopping with me and he had a snack in his hand that was not noticed when we walked out to the parking lot the so-called owner of the store was yelling at me and Chase down my 2-year-old for the item. This situation really could have turned bad for the store owner when a parent is protecting their child I was not aware of my two-year-old walking out with any items I then told the store owner that it's not a problem for me to purchase it you do not have to charge at my two-year-old like a raging Bull I really think it was a racial issue as well as whatever shoplifting they have previously encountered but for a dollar and some change four piece Oreo come on from a two-year-old then payed for my item. Employee etiquette and store atmosphere is to be desired and can definitely be improved upon... but that's not really a complaint as it's par for the course for the place. This place charged me for stuff that I didn't even buy!!! I went in for some snacks and I bought a scratcher just because I was feeling lucky. So I buy my things and I felt like it was more expensive than normal and so I asked for the receipt, which I normally don't do, and I didn't look at it till I get home. Once I looked at it I got charge twice for my soda, but it looked like someone else transaction from before I got there was on my receipt and added like 10 dollars to my total. It is such a shame that the owner sold this store. I've been going to this as my neighborhood 7-Eleven for over 5 years they got rid of all of the nicer employees. Their prices have gone up. They're constantly out of things. Love this 7eleven! For those that live up in the hills... this is our closest thing to a supermarket without having to go to Safeway or Lucky's. It's nothing too special - just your regular stuff. But I would like to add that I was pleasantly surprised that they sell Robert Mondavi chardonnay here. Being that I moved out here from Sonoma (where they sell wine at Mac Donalds, and anywhere else public) I pretty much got used to having to go to to Safeway or BevMo for a bottle of wine. This place rocks because the cashiers are always nice, and they remember you when you come back. -1 star for the crack headed lady that is always in front of that place asking for change. I would give them zero stars if possible. So I come in on a cold Monday morning to buy a couple packs of smokes. There is a homeless lady out front who I have seen around town. I offer to buy her a cup of coffee since it is below 50. She agrees, I go in to get it, lady sticks her head in to ask for a creamer. I frequent this 7-11 before all of the Mission Blvd. traffic and when I was using this route to go to work via the 580 past Foothill, this was normally a first stop for me. The location is really good. Next to the plunge and on a corner with a legitimate amount of parking so it's easy to get in and out. I rave a lot about 7-11's coffee. I think a lot of people can attest to the quality of the coffee and how cheap it is. I used to do a lot of smokeless tobacco and I found that this convenience store always offered a larger variety of smokeless tobacco compared to other convenience stores within Hayward and Union City. read more

I had to make a quick stop at this 7-11 because the Halloween party I attended was BYO and all nearby liquor stores were closed. This area of Hayward/mission is not very friendly and there were guys just hanging out and a few homeless people outside the store so my friends got off the car for me. I would like to write a review because of what happen today. So I went into the store to help my mom get 2 gallon of milk which costed 6.40 something. The guy is missing 3 dollars for my change. I went back in after I notice that he didn't give me the right amount so I had to went in to tell him the cashier the problem. This guy was an Indian guy with a piercing on his ear. He had the nerve to try and cuss me and my mom out for his stupid mistake. I know it was not a mistake he was still missing a dollar in change for the milk. I get that it is only 1 dollar it is no big deal but he was being a bitch and cussing us out in his Indian language whatever his language is that's why the 1 dollar should be return to us.
