We waited over 10 minutes to be seated despite there being PLENTY of open tables. Our server didn't even greet us with a simple "hello" or introduce themselves. Things only got worse from there. Our silverware was still WET when it was brought to the table. We ordered a 20 oz coffee and were served a 16 oz instead. The server never once checked on us, never asked if we needed refills, and another employee had to bring out our food because our own server couldn't be bothered. To top it all off, our trash was never collected from the table, and when we finally moved it ourselves because it had been sitting there the entire meal, our server actually seemed annoyed with US! Imagine being upset because customers cleaned up after your lack of service. The only time our server came back was right before it was time to leave the tip. Funny how that works. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. Poor attitude, terrible attentiveness, wrong order, and zero hospitality. I will absolutely not be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone expecting even the most basic level of customer service.

What I didn't foresee was that the ramp didn't lead directly to the restaurant. We went from the ramp into something like a storage closet. The turn from the ramp to the room was so tight that I basically had to do a three point turn to get her through the door. Then we had to get through a glass door, walk down a hall and THEN through to door to the restaurant. I seriously needed a rest after that trek. If my mom had been using her walker, she would not have made it into the restaurant. Once through the door though, we were cheerily greeted and seated. We had our drinks within a few minutes and a few minutes after that, we were ready to order. My mom ordered the fish sandwich and I got the Miss Calee burger. That was two mistakes in a row. The fish was overdone and a little hard. It was supposed to come with tartar sauce but it didn't. I would have asked for some but my mom didn't tell me until later. I don't think she ate half of her sandwich. My burger was definitely not much better. The patty was dried out and a hard. The dressing almost non existing - I did ask for more which helped a little but couldn't save the sandwich. I'm grew up in Pittsburgh and have lived in Alabama for 25 years. I am no stranger to slaw on my sandwiches. This slaw just didn't cut it - not even close. We both upgraded and had fries instead of chips. The fries saved the meal from being a complete disaster. I think the most telling sign about the food is that we left over half our meal and didn't bring the leftovers home for my dad. He will eat ANYTHING but in this case, it wasn't worth wasting a to-go box. Back to the handicapped accessibility - I took my mom to the restroom. It was barely large enough to get in chair in and there was absolutely no way possible to maneuver it in there. I keep calling her chair a "wheel" chair - it is actually a transport chair. It's much smaller than a traditional wheelchair. A regular wheelchair would have had problems getting around. Two positives, the prices were quite reasonable and I don't think there was a single employee without a smile. I wouldn't mind coming back one morning to try breakfast but I definitely won't be bringing mom.

Now I understand that you each have a station but why don't we just stand around and watch the line grow longer and the people more frustrated while they wait knowing you could easily pick up a cup and help. But my main complaint is... your MOBILE ORDER goes to the back of any order "line". Meaning, no matter what time you did your mobile order, the drive through and cafe orders trump your mobile order, I stood in the store for 13 minutes waiting for my mobile order. I had sent my mobile order at 6:45 and received it at 7:02 Is this a joke? Would definitely recommend going to a different location, with more welcoming efficient staff.

It was utter chaos, so packed, to no fault of the employees. I felt bad for them. It has to be hard to keep up with orders when you're busy like that. Other than that isolated incident, I have had no issues with the service I get here. They are always kind at the drive thru window, and my orders are always correct. I love the Matcha Lemonade (earthy and sweet) as well as the iced chai with raspberry syrup added to it (AMAZING).

To put it simply, we were born away by our visit to Roots. We had never been to a farmers market…read moreanywhere near the size and diversity of this one. Dozens -- no, hundreds -- of vendors, Amish and others, selling an astonishing variety of foods and gifts of all descriptions. Sorry to be so wordy and vague, but there is so much to Roots. First off, it's open only on Tuesdays, so plan ahead. And get there early; the parking spots -- there are a lot of them -- really fill up. When we arrived at 10:30am, we circled and circled before finding a spot. Secondly, it can get very crowded, and in summer very hot. Dress accordingly. And please note that many of the vendors accept cash only. There are ATM machines scattered around the area, however. The market has indoor and outdoor vendor stands. We loved the delightfully huge food offerings (indoors). Everything fresh. All kinds of meats (loved those sausages). Every kind of fruit and vegetable you could want. lots of Amish vendors, but plenty of others. too. And wow, the selection of foods, clothing items (we bought beautiful, hand-cut belts), antiques, and ...well, we can go on and on. We spent hours here and came away exhausted and VERY happy. And we found ourselves wondering why can't we have a farmers market just half this size with a fraction of the goods for sale somewhere nearer us in New England? Honestly, we could go on for pages about this. We had a wonderful time and recommend a stop here. (And we were told there are several other really outstanding markets in the area). All the other positive Yelps you read about this place are right on. We're fortunate to have visited and are eager to return -- just wish it was closer.

I came specifically to shop in the Main building, area 3, for Tropical Forest Shea Butter Soaps as a birthday gift. I learned about Tropical Forest at the 2025 PA Christmas + Gift Show at the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex. Tropical Forest also has a stand at Green Dragon Farmer's Market. I am thankful this farmer's market has a website with a directory of most of the vendors and an office with people to answer questions. And free maps of the entire farmer's market. There is plenty of parking, a plethora of food places to take off or eat while there, a large number of restrooms, and great signage inside and outside of all the buildings. Worth noting, not all stands/vendors take cards; some only accept cash.
