This cozy little shop is located right across the court house on Duke street. They have the best selection of freshly made Italian cookies and pastries. The breads are so beautiful that they look fake! It's pretty small and can get busy during holidays. There's a few bar seats by the picturesque windows to enjoy a snack and cappuccino. They have drinks and coffee as well. They even have sandwiches and salads! This has been a favorite for years. The service is always friendly. There's usually some parking right out front!

Something has changed. Went in this past week and there were definitely way less choices in the cases. Bought the cookies I absolutely love and sad to say, not only were they misshapen (see picture) but the jelly inside was hard as a brick. This is the second time I've gotten stale cookies from La Dolce Vita so I'm not sure if they already sold the place or they've just given up, but it's not the same.

Those home made cannoli's are delish! A friend recommended this bakery / pastry shipped while we were visiting Lancaster the other day. Friendly staff, tight parking.

Thank you to the staff for operating a clean space. There was ample sanitizer, plastic barriers and everyone was masked properly! Makes picking up food more comfortable for those with COVID high risk. Having never been here, I asked what they were know for. They said cannoli. Being 8:30 AM I also got a croissant and blueberry turnover. All three were delicious! The croissant was buttery, flakey and soft. The right proportion of chocolate. The blueberry turnover was FANTASTIC. The cannoli was also very good. My wife and I are big cannoli fans and have a special relationship (had them the evening of our engagement, at our wedding and seek them out on our anniversary). These were great. A lot of complex flavors. Subtle cinnamon in the patty, a hint of lemon in the filling. The sweetness was appropriate. Good filling to shell ratio. The staff was nice and helpful for our first time visiting. Will definitely come back if I'm in Lancaster again!

Stopped in today to buy a Napoleon ... or 2! Also purchased an Elephant Ear and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Everything was delicious . The staff were very nice and the display cases of gorgeous pastries are spotless.

The downside - it's steps away from my office. The upside - EVERYTHING is to die for! I've been coming to La Dolce Vita for years. It's my number one go to for cookie trays (great for holiday gifts and get togethers) and sweets to get me through my afternoon. Aside from all the delicious cookies and cakes, I love grabbing lunch here too. There are a few tables outside and two or three stools at the bar. A great place to enjoy a cannoli and see what's going on outside. Back to the lunch...the mozzarella, tomato and basil sandwich is my favorite. The pasta salads are equally fantastic! All in all, it's a wonderful place to visit.

Absolutely the best pastries - cookies and cakes! Want an authentic Italian cookie tree, this is your place! Great little store that packs a punch in customer service and delicious food! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Be prepared to pay for the best - no cheap ingredients nor any corners are cut in the making of these fabulous items- so don't be upset if the prices are not cheap.

    Tasty... chocolate is delicious!

AWESOMELY wonderful bakery. Ordered a chocolate charlotte for my GF's birthday and it was the absolutely best cake we have had. You can tell they use fresh, quality ingredients... and the artisanship that goes into putting their pastries together.. definitely shows. Bought some Fruit tarts and they were DELICIOUS! The filling was light and not overly sweet (like other places) the fruit was fresh!! If you haven't discovered this gem of a bakery... come down you will not be disappointed. I know I'll be back for some sandwiches and salad! Visited again!! *1/29/2018* Did not disappoint! Amazing goodies!

The line can get long but it moves quicky. They offer a pretty basic menu of food options and standard coffee shop offerings. I picked up a bag of their keystone blend. It was fantastic. The bag didn't really open well. But I ended up just putting it into a plastic baggie. I did love that they offered me a free drip coffee with the purchase of the coffee beans. The bags are pricey at $20 a bag. But it truly is a good brew.

I recently decided to turn in my CDL and head back into the office, which allows me more time to get my workouts in and perfect my look. Normally, when I pick up something new, I do a lot of research; I dive all in. I'm glad I "dived into" coffee. When you're a truck driver, you usually hit truck stops where the coffee isn't great. However, being diverse and cultured, I started trying coffee in Latin communities. I noticed they used special machines, which sparked my interest. I eventually started visiting specialty coffee shops. Most of the places I get food from don't open until 10:00 AM, but coffee shops are open much earlier. That's how I found Passenger Coffee here in Lancaster. I knew it was going to be a great spot the moment I walked in; it was clean, inviting, and smelled amazing. A friendly employee greeted me with a smile, and their pastry display looked great. I told her I was new to coffee--only about two months in--but that I was enjoying trying different kinds. I explained how I normally take my coffee and mentioned that the last time I had one, it had foam on top. She gave me a small coffee to try, as well as one with foam (a latte or cappuccino). I think that's all I want to drink from now on! I used to make fun of people who said, "Don't talk to me until I've had my first cup," but now I finally understand why. I highly recommend this place for the excellent customer service and the cleanliness of the location. The pricing is affordable, too. I hope my review helps!

My standard order is an iced latte with cherry syrup (although a latte with the peanut butter syrup is also delicious). I've tried cherry lattes elsewhere, but Mean Cups is the best. Nice and sweet, just how I like it, and you can actually taste the cherry. There're plenty of seating options, both indoors and out, and a restroom for customers. The service is quick (and not at all mean!). There's plenty of parking in the lot in front of the store. I do wish they had more food options, but there's not much aside from a small selection of baked goods. Luckily, there are plenty of other options in the same line of shops where you can grab some food to have with your coffee.

My order is 1 large hot latte and 1 large iced latte. I like to drink the iced latte before school then fill the cup up with ice and pour the (now room temp) other latte over it. That's how much I love this coffee. The only draw back is that the food situation leaves something to be desired. They usually have some sort of baked good/pastry in the display case, but I always eat breakfast before I go so I've never tried it.

Our server was friendly and efficient, and the pace of the service flowed well throughout our meal. The restaurant is clean and cozy and the seating area can accommodate different sizes of dining groups. I ordered the Elvis Crepe from the Sweet Crepes section of the menu and a side of Hash Browns with Southwest sauce. They were both delicious and filling, and it was a good combination of sweet and savory. My partner got a Savory Crepe, which he also enjoyed. The only disappointing part of our meal was the iced lattes. We both ordered different flavors - one Nutella latte and one with strawberry syrup. We couldn't taste any of the flavoring in them at all. Had our server not told us which was which, we would never have been able to tell. They just tasted like plain lattes with no added flavor. Especially disappointing considering you pay extra for the flavored syrups.
