Continuing into 20th century with American businesses, representing 1920's, is 7-Eleven. Not every American business I'm giving a good 4 or 5 stars to, but I appreciate the 7-Eleven brand, as it's convenient. My local 7-Eleven is a mixed bag. In recent times, it's been my most common gas station I go to as with my 7 cents off, it's generally cheaper than the BP across the street or any of the other stations in Maryland City. Gas pumps work well. It's rare I ever buy anything in there. I bought Powerball tickets a couple of times and various food items. Customer service is so so. Sometimes they are nice, but usually almost no nice interaction, just pay & go. I did the $3.14 Pi day pizza deal a couple of times. Pizza was pretty good, but kind of made me a bit sick with all the weird ingredients in there. Only a once a year event for me. Often times, I notice vagrants hanging around. One time one came up to me at the gas pump to ask for money. This seems to be common at 7-Eleven at many locations. Overall, 7-Eleven has some good deals on gas and a mix of good & bad, but some better options for convenience store food options like my nearby Royal Farms, or Wawa in Hanover or over locations in AA & neighboring counties. read more

Stopped in the middle of the night to buy some gas and use the restroom as I am pregnant. Apparently they do not have a public restroom someone can use. read more

The worst customer service that I have ever experienced. The item that I planned to purchase rang up more than listed. The cashier walked to the item listing, verified the discrepancy in the price and yet still refused to change the price. Beware of the items that you are purchasing. They are priced low on the tag, but a different amount of the cash register. I will be escalating this issue. read more

Been here many times and usually not a problem. However today I bought all my items and was told have a nice day but he didn't get me my hot dog. When another clerk saw me standing there she got time the hot dog. As I went to leave she asked the guy if he rung me up and he said yes. I get to my car and she comes running out accusing me of not paying. I am three times a week normally but not anymore. Too many other places around to go get a used of stealing. I stopped here today bought a food item. When the cashier rang up the item he asked for a different amount than what the computer screen read. I said "excuse me can you please say that again because I didn't understand". The employee then got very upset and said what's your problem? At this point I was complexed as to why the employee was raising their voice at me and upset. I replied "I'm sorry I just wanted to clarify because the computer screen has a different price." Still upset they replied well maybe I just can't read the screen with my glass why don't you just pay me what the &@$! screen says. read more

If they had a zero star they would deserve it! Worst Customer Service that I have experienced in a long time. The Cashier pretended not to speak English when I asked for a Manager for the reason being that the outside pump would not accept my credit card and the safety seal was broken. After I took the time to wait in line, so pointed across The store to show me where she was at. I asked her again if she can have her come over and she pointed again not only did this happen twice but four times While she kindly waived the customer in back of me to come and pay for his stuff. I was in disbelief, The cashier proceeded to take another customer only worrying about the money at hand. I had to raise my voice and demand for the manager. Then the manager identified that she was needed and came over and asked me what I needed. When she came over I asked her if the cashier could speak English she said of course, I then said well why did it take five times for me to ask her to get you and she still wouldn't until you look over when I had to raise my voice. She just looked at me and said how can I help you I said no and apology should be the first thing that you say to a customer after this experience he then apologized and informed me that the seal has been broken because they were doing work on it that there was no problems and the machine was down hence no sign indicating that that was going on. I paid for my gas and left when I got to the pump I had made a mistake and realize that I had told her the wrong pump number so I went back inside to locate her in the back when I told her I apologized that I told her the wrong pump number she asked me twice what I said and I repeated it she shook her head and looked frustrated and and actually said well let's hope that nobody used it because if they did then you will lose your money and just have to pay for it again. Shocked again by now the manager I said excuse me I don't think that that's going to happen can you please switch my pump she proceeded to argue with me and tell me that I would be in the wrong and that would be my fault and my money would be gone I told her I'm not going to argue with you I want my gas on the right pump please she then says OK it's on the pump you have three minutes otherwise it's going to turn off.... I said no you know what please write down your name and the customer service telephone number she asked me why and I told her that is not necessary I'm a customer I'm appalled at what is going on and I'm going to report all of this she said fine and wrote down her name on the receipt with the store number I said no I need your 800-number she proceeded to the back and took almost 2 minutes when she came back I told her well we sure know that the three minutes are up so I need you to reset the pump she acted as if she had did something and said OK you can go now.... I explained to her that I'm not trying to walk there and have to walk back again she said you won't if you make it there before three minutes, I proceeded to my vehicle and of course it would not work and I had to come back. This time it was the older Middle Eastern woman standing at the cash register in a different uniform talking to the manager, she immediately said to me you're going to have to swipe your card again the pump ran out of time you will be reimbursed depending upon your bank. I said excuse me and who are you see said that sees the franchise owner. I said OK so why do I have to swipe again and charge my card twice when I should have never been in this position, she proceeded to say the same thing smirking while hearing me on the phone with customer service as they were saying that the franchise owner would contact me back... I informed her that absolutely not I will not swipe my card again nor am I inclined to spend any money with them at this point of time or for that matter if the situation is not resolved by customer service I will never ever step foot in a 7-Eleven again and I will give my truthful review on line! The manager, Ravin, was extremely helpful and nice. Whenever I go to this location he is always working hard and assisting with any customers that need help. His staff is very nice as well and i haven't had a problem with anyone! read more

I work 3rd shift and can only get great fresh coffee when Tony works. The older guy and the young guy don't have a clue as to how to operate a store. I asked for my free chips that they had posted with the advertisement and they wouldn't even let me get them. I simply hate to even go to this store on Monday and Tuesday night's. The owner needs to show up around 930pm when they work to see how all the coffee canisters are all empty when those two work. Last night I asked why was all the coffee canisters empty and they just looked at me. I was ticked to say the least. I know I'm not the only coffee drinker that stupid there asst night so I can only imagine how many coffee drinkers were upset. I'm going to start going to the other7-11 over on route 1. It's a little out of my way but at least the coffee is made fresh. read more

The people there are ever rude. The gas here is not good at all it burns very fast. They do not go by the state tax they charge 7% not 6 %. There price are not good they are more then other 711 in the some area read more

Can I give zero or negative stars? It seems like it would be so appropriate. This gas station doesn't act like, you know, a place to get gas. I like the location as it's convenient but then again, you are playing roulette with them if you want actual gas for your car. Their fuel pumps consistently do not work. The saying, fool me once, comes to mind. Well, I can certainly say I've been fooled many more times than that because I like to expect the fuel pump to work when I pull up. Do these owners even want to sell gas? If they did, you'd think they could at least put out a cone or a sign if a pump is having problems. Except the problem is consistent and it is extremely annoying to pull up, prepare your vehicle, only to find out that you have to pull around to another pump to get one that works. Absolutely terrible and the worst "convenience store" on the planet. read more
