I enjoy shopping at Sam's Club because the prices are reasonable, especially when buying in bulk. The store is always clean and well organized, which makes shopping easier. I usually use Scan & Go, so I don't need much assistance, but whenever I do ask for help, the staff is always friendly and helpful. It does get very crowded, especially on weekend mornings, so I recommend shopping at other times if possible. read more

The layout seemed a little harder to follow, but I did appreciate the discounted prices. I found the bakery area loaded with pretty goodies, which is why I went in the first place. I'm reviewing to give Yesenea (a team person at member services). She was SUPER kind. She walked me through the entire shopping process and insisted that I take advantage of the scan and pay option on my phone. Very cool lady! Back to Sams... it was crowded but not pushy. Hello, I would like to report an incident that happened this morning while I was shopping at Sam's Club. I was in the aisle getting a bottle of oil. The aisle was empty, and there was an employee using a lift and another employee named Claudia standing there. I grabbed the item I needed, and as I did, Claudia made a comment saying that I had my mouth open and didn't move. I felt this comment was disrespectful and unnecessary. I asked her why she had to make that comment to me, since I was simply shopping. After that, another employee (a Latina woman whose name I do not know) said, "What is wrong with people today." I responded asking what was wrong with them, because I felt I was being disrespected. The situation turned into an argument because they said I had insulted Claudia, which I did not. I told them I came to shop, not to argue with employees. A team lead then came and asked what happened. I explained the situation. Claudia said she did not say anything and mentioned she had been working at Sam's Club for 18 years. The team lead said the other employee made that comment because she had an encounter with another customer earlier. I do not think it is appropriate for employees to take out their frustrations on customers. I come to Sam's Club to shop peacefully, not to be treated disrespectfully. i order 11 items get a ding that my order is on the way--only 6 items 5 of which are water-no phone call no text nothing for the $12 +the additional $8 for delivery 3 hours(that was the only option) then, the delivery person let 5 cases of water--calling for snow in md & i am a 70 yr old handicapped who uses both cane & walker-leaves my water & lg dish detergent sittjng outside!!of my bldg not at my front door thank goodness my young deaf neighbor saw them & she carried them in for me!! this is unacceptable service from your delivery people also the order required a signature!!i did not sign anythjng because no one knocked on my door!! read more

Premium is $2.94 today. Much better than most places in the area particularly given the issues with the Colonial Pipeline ransomware hack that has the East Coast all in a tizzy and folk down South selling bootleg gas in grocery bags lol. One thing I noticed today, is these pumps don't have auto shut off. At least mine didn't. I was on the phone and distracted while the fuel was pumping I turn around and it's gushing all out of the tank. I probably lost at least 2 gallons on the ground after my tank was full. Not cool. There were about 25 cars in line when I was there when there are typically 4 or 5 at most. The line went fairly quickly though Sam's had spotters outside keeping the traffic flowing. read more

We stopped by for less expensive gas and specific bulk items. Surprisingly, the gas line was relatively short compared to othet Sam's locations around Baltimore. The selections in this Sam's were not as varied as the Sam's we go to in Houston, but it was fine for what we needed. The store was not too crowded and there were plenty of parking spaces. We wanted pretzel and soda for our mid-day snack. However, the food line was super long. I waited 15 minutes, and the line barely moved. So we gave up and went home with our purchases. read more

Pack pack pack your patience! It was my mistake to go to Sams on a Saturday so it was quite crowded. I went in with thee maternal parental and despite having to wait for her to arrive before walking in, I really don't think they paid attention to her when she flashed her card. This store is organized nicely and despite the chaos in the parking lot things moved pretty smoothly inside. The staff were around should you have questions and the line moved pretty fast. Surprisingly, I spent less here than other warehouses. I'll continue to go back and get my fix. read more

What can you say about Sam's Club, well I will say one thing in Annapolis Sams club is the closest thing to a discount store we have. Yes, we have a target but we have no Walmart or any other discount store within the city limits. So having Sam's Club and their cheap gas which is usually $.20 cheaper than everywhere else in our neighborhood makes good sense. I've partaken in their gas program and am pleased to report that I have paid sometimes $.30 less per gallon than the local gas station 2 miles Up the road. But as with our big box stores, I try to limit my intake of food products and shop locally at our small businesses within our area. read more

I do online orders and pick up, and quite often items are missed. I call customer service for refunds. Less choices for frozen vegetables, no frozen spinach or carrots. I always love a good trip to Sam's Club. Who doesn't love a good bargain?! The place was clean and orderly. Everyone was helpful and things were pretty easy to find. I'm giving 4/5 stars due to the line and in regards to the registers that were opened. There were two (2) registers open (not including the self checkout) and they were the 2 lines next to each other so there was little room for social distancing. The Laurel location of Sam's Club always set the bar lower that the rest. Now the bar is non existent. My experience started with calling to see if a particular item was available. I was put on hold twice before I got a response. The gas line is a hot mess with pumps being nonfunctional for WEEKS. Yes I said WEEKS. No real direction on which way to go and no employees to really assist. I'm only pointing that out since it's the complete opposite of their competitor, (really no competition) Costco. After navigating through the line I enter Sam's and the door employee is literally standing in the middle of the door, very much in the way. She slowly strolls to the side so the basket and I could make our way in. Thus this is the ebb and flow of most employees I encountered. Not really caring if what the are doing is blocking the customers, Self checkout is now forced upon you too by the way. read more

Mess! Parking is terrible and tot took me literally 10 min and exercising meditation to survive the store run. I told the woman at the door I'm coming to buy a new membership and some woman in plain clothes rudely told me I need to go over there. There's nobody in the tire section for help. The lines are long and slow. Now I've been in the store about 30 min and still have nothing but a headache from this experience. Pro: cheaper gas, food court, big parking lot, next to Walmart, self check out. Con: annual membership fee, slow exit receipt checker. A great option for people who don't live near a Costco. It has a big parking lot and you are to find a parking space compare to an over crowded Costco. The building is clean and every aisle has a sign of items. It has a cheaper gas price compare to outside gas station. The pizza from the food court is very good. I like the self check out since it easy and fast. Only con is that sometime the people at the exit door who scan your receipt can be slow and cause a build in the line. read more

Kayla in the bakery was sooo nice and helpful when I called for a last minute cake order (1 day's notice). We even had a nice little laugh on the phone. However, when I arrived at the store after 7p on Friday, there was no one there! I wanted to let the bakery manager know about my experience of Kayla but could not. A gentleman from the meat dept pointed me to the cart with the cakes... I decided I would call later to let someone know. Well I just called customer service (4:30p on Sun) and no one answered the phone. Mediocre experience picking up an online order. I got two reminder emails about picking up my items but the items weren't even in the pickup area. The employee had to go find them in the store. What, then, is the point of ordering online if I just have to wait as long as it would take me to grab the items myself? This is more a store policy complaint than anything else. The customer service rep was friendly and efficient. I was in no rush so I didn't mind. I had entertainment while I waited: A very angry Indian man was causing a scene about trying to return a used car battery when the tire and battery area had closed and he was explained the hours of operation, getting testy and making rude remarks. I didn't hear the end of it, but people can be so unreasonable! The customer is not always right. read more

I'm livid I came to Sam's club got in line yo buy a pizza. I had already scanned my pizza to pay on the scan & go app and the lady at the register told me they didn't allow to sell the full pizza. Although they had full pizzas ready to sell, they would only sell me slices at $1.98. Which just buying 4 slices would be the same amount as buying a full pizza. The shelves were fully stocked and there were no ridiculous quantity limits. Their selection is expansive. Tons of items that I've never seen at any other Sam's location. If you're not using the Sam's Club app to scan your own stuff and checkout without having to go to a register, you're doing it WRONG! Better yet, place your order online and let them bring it out to your car! I love that there is no minimum order price for online orders. The ready for pickup is ridiculous, nothing is ever ready for pickup. They need to come up with a more efficient way to do this so customers aren't coming in having to wait while they search for the order. While spending time with my daughter in Plano, TX, she ordered food products online for curbside pickup. We went to pick up the groceries and the bananas were green. We didn't say anything to the person loading the car; took everything home; and placed the bananas in the window hoping they would turn yellow/get ripe. I took the bananas into the store for an exchange; and mind you, it had been 3 days and they were still green! There was no issue returning the product. The issue dealt with the return and use of a different membership card. I did not have my daughter's card, but did have mine. The associate was clever in how she handled the transaction so that I didn't have to go out to the car. My thought is why does the customer need the membership card when the receipt is provided? I do have a suggestion based on another "big store". That store's receipts have the card number embedded in the receipt. Good deeds from that store differs from your store, while other good deeds from Sam's differ from the other store. I do like that your store scans the products and the receipt upon exiting the store. read more

I like this sams club but they didn't have any samples on a Friday. The samples often guide me into buying random things I don't need and it's fun! I normally would not ever write a review for shopping clubs, but Sam's Club did something different today that I have to acknowledge. When I walked in, I made my normal rounds through the store. As made my way back to the front, there was a booth. Booth was for free health screening. They were checking blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, and body fat. I think this is a great service to offer and it's free. We some times take our health for granted because we feel fine. The reality is we need to know for sure and we need to check often. I came here on 10/8/2019 to get my tire repaired. The front desk person Mr. Keith did a great job communicating that I needed a new tire. He called me like he said he would when the new tire was ordered no problemo. Fast forward to today, I called because no one called saying my tire came in, the person answered the phone and placed me on hold for 20 minutes wtf. I waited and listen to all the elevator music forever. After going through a hang up call back process, I realized I wasted an hour of my time. Finally someone answered and said my tire came. When I arrived the baby ahole tech said he couldn't find it and he was rude af about it. He made a huge deal about not having my card, after him trying to argue with me making himself look dumber he stopped. 3 managers later and still no tire. One manager gave me an associate number to call to see where she put my tire. This was totally out of line, I couldn't believe he did this. I wasted 3 hrs for one tire and left with a flat tire and no new tire. I called back the next day and was not able to even get the store manager name or number. I had to call corporate who then connected me to a manager who took care of the situation. It was a totally shit show. I will not ever come back to this sams club. They need to train their staff more on computer literacy and customer service skills. read more
