Today, my wife and two young children, came in for coffee and a bagel. We asked for a toasted bagel with cream cheese, and the man behind the counter forgot to toast the bagel. I asked for a new bagel toasted, and he refused. He said he needed to charge me for the new bagel. After years of loyalty and thousands of dollars spent, this guy fought me tooth and nail, and would not toast me a new bagel. He said that I must pay for a new bagel. This guy was more concerned with two dollars, then keeping his customer satisfied, and doing the right thing. The other customers in the store were just as dumbfounded as we were. This guy did not give up, and he allowed me to reach my boiling point and walk out. He has officially lost our business forever, and forced me to spend time (which I never do) to write this negative review. He was the manager on duty, but not one of the people I typically see. Usually, we see the elder gentleman and his son, who are both very nice and know us by name. My wife and I intend on returning later today to meet with the owner and his family. They deserve to know this story. I have never been treated so terribly as a customer before. This guy does not deserve his job or any job in customer service for that matter. Then I ask for my sandwich, but they gave it to the other guy, who didn't order ahead of time and came into the store after me. Their response was "We don't take names when you order." This is the one that shares the same plaza as Bottle King. This was my first time at this CVS location. I thought the inside of the store is much larger than how it appears while driving down Mount Pleasant. The aisles are tidy, organized, and well-stocked - lots of seasonal items and an interesting local history book rack by the pharmacy in the back. The only con was perhaps the pharmacy hours (opens 11am on Sundays); but this location does offer drive-thru services, which the one on S. Livingston Ave does not.

When all the typical restaurants close, I look no further than this place because of the 24hr convenience. First off, this Quick Chek is very clean and modern. There is such a large variety of options to pick from that I often try something new every time I come. They also have deals on snacks (IE. 2 chips for $5) to satisfy your munchies. The staff at night are friendly and accommodating. Just watch out for the mac and cheese, it may already be sold out by the time you read this due to the popularity. While Quick Chek may not get as much notoriety as a certain popular rival (Wawa I see you), I think at the very least this particular location deserves some credit. Give this place a try!

Wanted to check this location out…read more Parking spots along the side of building. Place has a good vibe and is huge inside to settle. I did get the crème brûlée latte and my husband got a black coffee. It was good but I don't think it was worth the pricing it was plus service was a little off. Staff seemed a little standoff-ish even when trying to place our order. Hopefully it was just an off day.
