So I looked for a coffee spot closer to the restaurant at which I could do some work. Alibi Coffee is only 10-15 minutes from the restaurant, which made it a good candidate--and off I went. It sits on the corner of Washington and Raymond Avenue. While there's one-hour parking on Washington, Raymond seems to offer unlimited parking (other than street cleaning days)--the friendly, helpful barista directed me over there. Inside, it's a tranquil, clean and comfortable environment that mixes contemporary touches with brick industrial vibes. I'm in my cream top era, so I decided to get their Trademark Cream Top Latte, which uses cold brew and house made cream with a hint of brown sugar. The drink was smooth and not too sweet and, all in all, extremely enjoyable. Next time, I might try the Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte. I was warned it was a bit sweeter, but I'd like to see for myself. Wi-Fi seems solid, and there are plenty of outlets (yay!), so this was a great work spot. I'd definitely return anytime I needed to be in this area.

Another gentleman would bring them from the building in the same complex. I LOVED my wrap. They have a ton of seating outside too but there aren't any outlets out there so it's harder to WFH out there unless you're fully charged. But was great for separate meetings we all had to attend. BUT what I've been absolutely obsessed with lately is their Jasmine Matcha. I constantly find myself coming back specifically for this drink. The balance between the jasmine and matcha is PERFECT. You get that floral, fragrant jasmine flavor while still being able to distinctly taste the matcha, and neither one overpowers the other. Parking is also surprisingly easy for LA! I've usually been able to find street parking nearby, so I personally wouldn't bother spending the extra money on valet. I will say this probably isn't the best place if you're looking for somewhere quiet to study. There are constantly people coming in and out and it can get pretty noisy and busy inside. I'd come here more to grab a drink and catch up with someone than to lock in for a study session. The Double Matcha may be the classic, but the Jasmine Matcha is what keeps me coming back. If you're a jasmine matcha person, GET THIS ONE!!

You have to wait until someone goes inside and returns one. That said, the line moved surprisingly quickly, and our drinks came out within just a few minutes of ordering. Service was also friendly! I got the Double Matcha and it was super creamy and had an okay matcha flavor, but unfortunately left a mild weird, grainy aftertaste. I was pretty disappointed, especially after waiting in line. Honestly, I'm not sure I'd wait in line for this one again. My partner got the Double Hochija. The flavor was definitely there, but it also had that same strange grainy aftertaste, except it was way worse than the Double Matcha. It was supperrr sweet and became a bit overwhelming after a few sips. If you have a serious sweet tooth, you might love it, but I'd recommend adjusting the sweetness. Wish I read some of the reviews prior to ordering... Overall, I don't think Stagger has the best matcha or hochija but definitely is a cute spot for small groups of 2-4 to grab a drink and hang out. The quick service and friendly staff were definitely a plus! For me, the drinks weren't quite worth the wait, but I'd still come back to try something else.

Any of their cream tops are honestly perfection and probably what makes the drink for me. The matcha itself is rich, creamy, and really smooth. I wouldn't necessarily say it's super strong, but it's definitely not weak either. It doesn't have as much of that bitter/earthy matcha taste. The drinks do lean on the sweeter side, which is kind of a dilemma for me because the cream is SO good, but it also takes away from the matcha a little. I love the cream and wouldn't want less of it, but I do wish the matcha came through a bit more. Additionally, the cup is pretty small And getting matcha here is honestly a whole DEDICATED JOURNEY. Parking, waiting in line, waiting for your drink... you have to really want that matcha. But I would 100% come back. Despite the journey and the small cup, Rōk is still easily one of my favorite matcha spots in LA.

I initially had every intention of ordering a Vienna matcha but when I read the description for the ube buttercream latte, I couldn't resist! After just a couple of minutes my order was ready to go. My initial sip was just the cream and espresso but was already yummy...a good start. I mixed it all together with my straw then finally got a proper try. It was soooo good. There was a sweetness and nuttiness from all of the flavors balanced by the espresso flavor. Even though I figured it'd be yummy, the drink exceeded my expectations truth be told. It didn't last too long before I finished the drink! I've tried coffee places and the like here and there in LA and this is one of the first times I can say I would like to come back here specifically to try more drinks!! Overall a very successful experience and I'll definitely come back.

I placed an order with them for $61.93, to be delivered today, Oct. 28, 2025, between 9am and 10am. I get a text message at 10:13am telling me the delivery person cannot access my building and that they have to get to work, but that they've delivered the order. I'm wondering how they can deliver the order without accessing the building. Come to find out that the delivery person left my order outside of my building on the ground. When I reached the lobby, there were no packages outside. They'd been stolen. I call Smart&Final and leave a message, because there's no live person to talk to. Then I began a 'Chat' session, which concluded with them telling me they're going to check with the delivery department and get back to me via email. What company in their right mind hires delivery people that leave packages outside of a building on the ground?! These are dishonest, unethical, and unscrupulous business practices. To make matters worse, Smart&Final is big enough to afford a live person to talk to if you encounter a problem. It's a rinky-dink business model at best.
