Service- I appreciate their efficiency. Person at the register was super polite and helpful. Baristas got the drink orders out fast. Ambiance- very cramped. Place to grab coffee and go. I prefer slightly larger spaces and flexibility to chill or work. Drink- only commenting on the Vienna latte and ube buttercream latte. Overall, the impression is that their default leans more towards milky and sweeter flavor profiles. These drinks were very milk forward and on the much sweeter end than we expected (and we got half sweet for both). Had to go back home and add double shots to both drinks to offset it. If you're looking for more coffee forward drinks, you'll have to ask to adjust it. But personally couldn't taste the coffee beans. Tried the Butter Cream Latte and the Vienna Matcha. The Vienna Matcha was just okay--the matcha flavor wasn't strong enough, so it ended up tasting a bit bland and was mostly overpowered by the cream. The Butter Cream Latte was definitely the better drink. It had a bold espresso flavor that paired really well with the creamy topping, making it balanced and flavorful. I'd come back for the latte, but I'd probably skip the matcha unless they make it with a stronger matcha base. read more

Yeems Coffee is tucked away on the corner of 6th & Westmoreland. Small coffee shop with the convenience of parking, which is a HUGE plus in the LA area. Baristas are friendly and the flow of the service is impressive as they are able to go through the line in a quickly manner. The presentation is amazing and looks appealing. However, the coffee itself does not have a bold taste of coffee. Extremely subtle coffee flavor. I will say it is very creamy and sweet making it seem like a flavored milk drink. Great option for those who prefer a light drink or prefer sweetness. Yeems is my favorite coffee shop in KTown. They are the first shop located in a shopping center on the corner of 6th St and Westmoreland Ave. I have been coming here for two years now and I can confidently say they are a popular coffee stop here in KTown (I believe they went viral on TikTok not too long ago, lol). Quality Control is literally near perfect and no matter how busy they are, they are very quick to make your drink. Their flavors are always spot on, and they're small batch and made to order Their Vienna Latte, Ube Buttercream, and Matcha Latte are apart of rotation to match my mood for the day. They offer walk-ins and online orders. Yeems is a very busy cafe, with limited street and parking lot parking but don't let that deter you from stopping by... trust me, it is that good. read more

This afternoon, I had a Buttercream Latte at Yeems Coffee. I've heard that this place is super famous for having amazingly delicious coffee and that the lines are usually incredibly long. However, while I was driving past it to drop my mom off at her acupuncture clinic, I noticed there was no line! I thought, "Oh, I should definitely check that out," so I headed over right after dropping her off. I ordered the Buttercream Latte (Decaf, no ice, with almond milk). It was a little bit on the sweet side, but the coffee aroma and overall flavor were absolutely fantastic. It was really delicious! A few notes about my visit: Upcharge Communication: I really wish they had mentioned the extra charge for almond milk when taking my order. I only found out after checking my receipt that there is a $0.75 upcharge for it. Cleanliness & Space: While the coffee was good, the inside of the shop was quite small, so it felt a bit cramped and stuffy. Also, the table I sat at was a bit dirty--it had stains from where someone else had spilled a bunch of coffee, and no one had wiped it down, so it didn't look very clean. The Crowd: There were hardly any people when I first walked in, but suddenly a massive rush of customers came in all at once, making it extremely crowded. It made an already tiny coffee shop feel even smaller! Parking: They have free parking which is a huge plus. This is an especially great perk for someone like me, who is terrible at parking and constantly bumps the car when parking. read more

Bf and I got the Vienna Latte ($7) and holy wow, it's so good. It tastes just like tiramisu. It's so sweet and yummy. It's a bit cramped inside, but there are two tables available for seating. They also make drinks very quickly. Please please pleaseee try the Vienna Latte. Since Vienna coffee is all the hype in SoCal for whatever reason, I felt the need to try the Vienna Latte (Signature espresso drink with our house-made sweet cream with your choice of milk. Vienna matcha: this drink is good but if you like matcha and want it to taste like matcha I wouldn't recommend this drink. The Vienna top overpowered the matcha flavor and it was completely lost. Vienna latte (not pictured): my boyfriend said this is the best coffee in all of LA. It tastes very balanced, not too sweet and it has the right amount of bitterness. Iced vanilla latte and apple danish were delish. The ambiance of the cafe not so much. The white walls, tables and chairs were kind of dirty. The environment isn't super welcoming. Good thing is that the staff were. I came across this cafe when I was looking for one in the ktown area. It was quite busy around 10am on Memorial Day. Many people came in and out in the ~15-20 mins we were there. Most were just picking up and leaving since they are only 3 tables and minimal seating. I think I've been to Yeems more times than I can count on my fingers so I believe this review is long overdue. Yeems is a lil coffee shop that's high up in the ranks of ktown coffee shops for me due to their offerings and service. They have a variety of options to choose from but their menu isn't overwhelming. I haven't tried their tonics but I can confidently say their coffees and matchas are spectacular. Service is generally very friendly! The Yeems staff are always smiling even when they have a line of orders to get through. Also they have great music taste hahahah. I had a mistake with my drink once, but someone graciously helped me out when I told them about it and I appreciated the care they had in maintaining quality. My only qualm as with most Ktown coffee shops is the difficulty finding parking, though I've been able to snag a street parking spot a few blocks away the last couple times. read more

They usually have a decent line out the door but they are pretty fast so you only wait 10-15mins max and your out the door. Though Yeems is the OG matcha spot in K-town, it has seen its better days. The space is small (not meant for sitting down or working), and not much of any aesthetics to speak of, compared to other coffee shops in the neighborhood. Yeems Coffee is one of those small Korean cafés that surprises you in the best way. It's tiny--really tiny--but always crowded and always buzzing with energy. The place is run by a group of young Koreans, and you can feel their vibe and hustle the moment you walk in. They're friendly, fast, and they clearly love what they're doing. I stopped by for a black coffee and grabbed this brownie-like pastry (I'm not even sure what to call it), but wow--it was so good. Rich, chewy, and perfect with the coffee. Their matcha is fantastic too, smooth and not overly sweet.
