    Salted Caramel Cream Top Latte

Great coffee shop in the west Adams district, service was great and the drink matched it. I got a blueberry scone with my latte and it was delicious! The vibe inside is very chill nostalgic. The brick walls make it feel like an old building but the inside is very modern and clean. Came on a Thursday morning and the place was empty for the most part which was perfect since I was in a bit of a rush.

Super big tables and space for studying! I got their honeycomb toffee latte and it was yummy and loved the honeycomb in there. Unique drink from other cafes I been to. Cant wait to come back again!

Stopped by here as a pit stop in traffic hour. There are plenty of street parking. Plenty of seats and tables inside. Barista was kind and welcoming. I got the iced salted caramel latte and it was way too milky for me. For over $7 a cup, would not be back.

Alibi Coffee owns the claim of the historic West Adams district's first coffee roaster and are quite proud of this history, represented with a hand-drawn map of the surrounding neighborhoods with some important landmarks. The building was built in 1922 and was entirely gutted and redone by the founders themselves, which on its own is a testament to their craft. They also roast and sell their own beans! Fortunately, said beans are decent. Their cream top cold brew -- which doesn't quite taste as bean-juice-y as I normally find cold brew -- is very smooth and just slightly sour. The cream on top sits halfway between a whipped cream and traditional cold foam, where it stands up on its own but also blends well into the drink, rounding out the acidity. They have signature drinks, but I wasn't willing to risk it after a fair number of fellow Yelpers warned of how sweet they were. You can still get a taste of their signature honeycomb latte upon request for free -- honeycomb toffee on the side, which sparked a bittersweet contrast against the light acidity of the cold brew. Drinks run around $6-7 after tax. (I still don't understand *when* cafes collect tax and when they don't.) We stayed until closing at 4 P.M., where we were promptly offered some free leftover pastries and an entire loaf of sourdough bread by a barista.

New coffee shop visit during my stay in LA. Very nice and cozy coffee shop near my Airbnb with amazing customer service and punch card system. The workers were friendly during my visit. The matcha latte was very tasty on a hot weekend in LA.

Got a solid alibi, since you can probably catch me at one of my new favorite coffee shops, @alibicoffeecompany ! This rustic red-brick coffee shop independently roasts their coffee beans in house, creating fresher, high quality coffee for their menu drinks (I would probably rate them a light roast). Also a must try in my book - their matcha drinks, which are hand whipped from high quality matcha powder, and their pastries, which are freshly toasted to order and some of the best I've had in a coffee shop. Definitely check out this hidden gem for high quality coffee drinks and a great spot to study/work, with free WiFi, outlets, a free parking lot, and a bathroom! A Cozy Coffee Gem in West Adams - Alibi Coffee is a Must-Visit Alibi Coffee in West Adams was such a delightful find. SOOOO MUCH LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I really enjoyed the vibes. The big bright windows let in so much natural light making the whole space feel warm airy and inviting. It is the kind of spot that makes you want to stay a while whether you are catching up with friends or just wanting to relax with a good book. They serve pastries from Sugar Bloom Bakery and let me tell you they do not play when it comes to the pastry game. I ordered the berry tart almond croissant and chocolate croissant to share with my two girl friends and all of them were delicious as expected. Each pastry was flaky buttery and had the perfect balance of sweet. Definitely the kind of treats that make you close your eyes and savor every bite. Now let's get into the coffee because that is where things got really exciting. We ordered a few different drinks to try the salted caramel latte with cream top the matcha latte with cream top and the coconut honeycomb latte which turned out to be the star of the show. I did not get to sip on the salted caramel or the matcha but both looked amazing especially with those thick dreamy cream tops that make your latte feel extra special. The real winner for me was the coconut honeycomb latte though. I honestly cannot stop thinking about it since. The honeycomb is not actual honeycomb thankfully but more like a fluffy brittle with a caramelized sugar flavor and bits of coconut mixed in. And oh girl those little pieces on top made my day. It was crazy delicious. I drank every last sip and even chewed on the ice at the end because I did not want to miss a drop. This latte put me in such a happy mood and I already cannot wait to go back and order it again. If you are a fan of fun creative coffee drinks with top notch pastries to match Alibi Coffee is the spot. Totally recommend with the nicest service.

I loved the pastries and drinks here! I'd recommend their signature drink (Honeycomb latte) and their almond croissant! But what impressed me the most was the atmosphere of where I can study/do work well. Free WiFi, outlets, and many seating spots. The service was great as well!

I was in search of a place to lounge around for an hour while taking a work meeting, and Alibi Room was one of the cafes in mind. For starters, there was mention of "easier" street parking - findable though I would argue not easy. Once I made my way in side, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and patient. My order? Well, after a few minutes, I was roped into trying their Honeycomb Latte.... unique, indeed! (For reference, I don't like syrups and sugar, and my go-to is a regular iced latte to really taste espresso and milk.) The Honeycomb Latte was a tad on the sweeter side, so if you like the taste of espresso, I recommend ordering less sugar / honeycomb or another drink. While there were many tables available, I would caution taking meetings here, as the lighting is on the darker end. Additionally, the music here is fairly noisy, such that even regular conversation was difficult. I'll likely return to try their regular lattes; their beans tasted great!

I was in the area and googled coffee places, was so excited to see an Alibi here! There was plenty of street parking. Inside was very quaint but felt warm and spacious. There were hella outlets, which is great for a work space, and I got some quality work time and reading done while I was here. My oatmilk latte was perfection! I need to come back to try some food or pastries, but the coffee is A1! The barista was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu and history of the shop will def be back!

Amazing location, I absolutely love the Honeycomb Toffee add some lavender and it's heavenly! The little snacks and pastries are phenomenal. Interior ambiance is such a vibe playlists are carefully curated, great for studying and working. Staff are amazing they are so sweet. If you're in the area 10/10 highly recommended location.

I've been on the hunt for a really good coffee spot to grab something while at work, and there aren't many options nearby. I usually don't have much time to stop, but I finally had a chance to visit Alibi Coffee, and I'm so glad I did. It's located on a corner along Main Street, and I was able to find parking without any trouble. As soon as I walked in, I loved the open, welcoming space. There's also outdoor seating, which is a nice bonus. The music had a great vibe and wasn't too loud--perfect for a quick stop or a relaxed visit. I had already checked the menu on Yelp to see some popular picks, but the pastries in the display case immediately caught my eye. I was greeted right away, and the barista was very friendly and helpful. I asked about decaf options and was happy to hear that any drink can be made decaf. I ordered an iced latte with cream foam and a warmed croissant. Both were delicious. The latte wasn't overly sweet--just the way I like it--and the croissant was warm, buttery, and perfectly flaky. When I got back to my office, I was able to enjoy both during a busy day of meetings, which made the day feel a little more manageable. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more from the menu. I'm glad to have finally found a solid coffee spot close to my office.

A lovely place to work from cafe! They have speedy free wifi and charging ports. Drinks apart from coffee were good, but I think the price is not cheap at all. Pastry was ok but not my favorite French-style pastries. Parking is quite hard to find. Maybe I just didn't have their best drink. Service was great though.

Andante was nearby and in my bookmarks, so we walked over. The store is very small, no seating except for a few chairs right outside. Definitely a grab and go spot. There was one barista doing everything and boy was he hustling hard! I ordered the andante (somehow still in my cream top phase) and my fiance got Ethiopia pour over. Prices were exceptional - to the point where we both agreed that their price for a pour over is significantly lower than a lot of other roasters out there. My drink was smooth, creamy, and could really taste the maple syrup come through from the sweet cold brew. Wish I got a sip of the pour over before someone inhaled theirs, but he did say he liked this coffee better than Kumquat! gasp. One of my favorite coffee shops we've visited recently. This was one of the closer coffee spot with good reviews that I found near the kbbq place (Seogwan by Yellow Cow Kbbq) my family and I ate at for lunch. It was about 0.5miles (3 mins drive). The coffee shop is super large, bright, and has nice background music. There are plenty of seats for people to hang out or study. There are also street parking but can be difficult to cross the street due to cars driving by so quickly without a pedestrian crosswalk on one side. I ordered their signature drink which was the orange espresso tonic with one extra shot for my husband, and the double mango matcha for myself. Both of us really enjoyed the drinks, especially the orange espresso tonic. It was refreshing, clean, and easy to drink. Normally, they include double shots of espresso, which may have tasted stronger for me since my husband wanted three shots, and I usually stick with two shots. The double mango matcha uses fresh fruit syrup so the mango flavor was not too strong and my drink was very creamy due to the signature mango cream on top. Usually, I would enjoy a creamy matcha but it made me more thirsty on a hot day. The service took a bit of time since they had to mix my matcha the legit way with the bamboo whisk. The matcha tasted like premium, ceremonial matcha since it was stronger and authentic in taste. Overall, both drinks were enjoyable but if I had to choose one, I would go with the orange espresso tonic even though I love mango matcha!
