The employee at the cash register on Sunday was extremely rude. We went to buy two pieces of candy. He was on the phone speaking in a different language. He would not look at us or address us in any way even though we were standing right in front of him and the register. Awesome service, good selections. I love the different accessories that they sell. Not just food and drinks but toys and other gadgets that might play in your favor. I love the fact too that they share the parking lot with a fast food location. It makes it easy to pick a slurpee from them to enjoy with a meal. Parking is limited but doable most of the day. read more

This is an average 7-Eleven in a decent area with an easy set-up to navigate to shop with easy parking. Prices are typical of a convenience store as well as the service. I'd say this is a good place for a slurpee and impulse purchases of snack foods in a pinch. read more

I love 7-Elevens. They're ubiquitous, like those random Bibles one finds in hotel rooms. Oh, and they're colorful, uh, unlike those Bibles, assuming they're not illustrated. 7-Elevens are most certainly useful, and many would argue that Bibles are useful too, especially for starting fires. (But that's another story for another day, kids!) A cheerful cashier helped me and my friends - who had been drinking alcohol-influenced beverages all evening - stock up on both Vitamin Water and real water. A tag on the cashier's shirt read "Danny", so I'm pretty sure that was his name. While our time here was brief - we parked, got our water, paid, and ran out of there like a demon was on our asses - I'll always remember this 7-Eleven if I get thirsty, and happen to be driving on Artesia. read more

I am not sure how I have yet to stop at this 7/11. I am always in search of a place that I can play my numbers (Lottery) and this 7/11 happens to be right in the path that I travel. Yesterday (03-30-2013) I was driving up Artesia and observed not one but 2 license plates containing my daily 4 numbers so I knew I had to stop and stop quickly, this is when I spotted this 7/11. I pulled into the parking lot. This 7/11 shares its parking space with several other businesses in a small strip mall. I hit this spot up on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking available. I walked into this 7/11 and immediately noticed the music that was playing throughout the store. It sounded like it was either 106.7 or 91X feed from San Diego, my type of music. As I was filling out my lottery numbers I looked around and noticed this 7/11 was quite clean. I walked to the register and was helped by a helpful 7/11 employee who seemed in good spirits which always makes for a pleasant shopping experience. I was in and out quickly and on my way. I will without question be making a lot more stops here, just got a good vibe about this place and my lottery numbers=) Based on other 7/11's this 7/11 is Definitely a 5-Star location based on the music playing, how helpful the employee was and how clean this place was. I do not think you can ask for more when you go to 7/11 for one thing and one thing only, that one thing being 'The Lottery.' I've stopped by here often when making my way from the beach cities to the freeways. The staff here is usually in a great mood, and the patrons are mostly friendly locals. Much like any other 7-eleven, this place is a good option for snacks and refreshments. I've mostly stopped by for bottled water or for some energy bars. This store not only sells defective products they endorse their employees NOT offering good customer service. I finally decided to try a slurpee straw and I guess the box was smushed or something in transit? Idk but I literally could not get my slurpee thru the straw. I had already paid and let Liz know the straw wasnt working and it was defective she told me I was stuck with a defective candy straw while she not only had another candy straw next to her and 2 full boxes by the slurpee machine. I asked her if it this was a part of their policy, to sell defective products and she smiled and advised me she doesnt make the rules. I work near by n frequent this store often but after she showed me how much value I have as a customer, I will proudly burn my gas to support any other 711 than this one. This 7/11 robs people ... My mom just bought some snacks for my kids and was over charged 6 bucks ! My mom then demanded her receipt with the correct amount charged and the attendant a ( Short Fat Mexican Guy ) told her to come back and speak to a manager about the problem. I then went in with my mom and said "do we have a problem here ! ?.... he then gave her her the receipt with the correct amount she needed to be charged and her refund of 6 bucks. Most of my reviews of places are great! I went into 7-11 to get a refill on my coffee. I wash my old coffee out and put a little ice coffee in to change the taste. I throw the ice coffee out and get my normal coffee. I went to the register the guy charges me 2.50, I say its a refill. He then charges me $1.50 even though it says a $1 refill on the window. Horrible experience! If you want to be robbed, go to the 7-11 on Artesia. read more
