Be very careful if you are paying with cash. I purchased a turkey and Monterey jack cheese sandwich for $6.99. It came up to seven dollars and change with tax. I gave this woman $8 ; a $5 bill and three $1 bills. As I'm putting the rest of my money away, she claims she's missing a dollar, and instead of arguing I gave her an extra dollar. It happened so fast. But I know for a fact that she saw the money I pulled out and I know for a fact, I gave her eight dollars originally. I'm about to walk back inside and ask for a receipt. I don't play those games when it comes to cash. Imagine if someone is doing that to every single person paying with cash in a high traffic area in South Beach. Not cool! Was denied purchase of alcohol, and cashier didn't look at the date of birth on my ID. I'm turning 30 in October, and brought my California ID. Dude glanced at my picture and refused service. Ran half a mile round trip ‍ As I'm out of state, I don't know the alcohol laws in Florida, but 8:50pm is very early. According to google, purchase of alcohol stops at 12AM, and starts back up 7:01 AM If it was a law, I understand. Despite seeing my California ID all he said was "no beer no wife". I recently moved into the area and I am so happy that this 7-Eleven is a couple blocks away. Located on Washington and just a couple blocks from Ocean Ave. Easy walk from the beach area to this location. They have a full selection of hot foods and you can request a whole pizza if you want to take with you. They also have their pizza fresh to take home to bake. The fresh pastries and other Latin breads selection will give you plenty of options. This store also has beach accessories and sun tanning and protection lotions if you need something for the beach. The Franchisee is onsite and is very friendly with any help or service. I highly recommend this location and make sure you use your 7-Eleven Rewards program to gather points and free items. Its really hard to review this 7-11 considering I basically walked in to see their alcohol section closed off, interact with their staff, and not actually buy anything. But alas, as a dedicated Yelpers, I must at least give my input on this experience. As I have said in previous reviews, the laws of South Beach were a definite hindrance from taking drinks back to our Airbnb for a late night relaxation before bed. I am still unclear if that is a law or unwritten rule of South Beach. But it was impossible to buy closed container alcohol after midnight on the night we tried. The staff here had a suggestion of a place to go and were very nice in telling us this. We didn't purchase anything due to whatever goes on late night on South Beach. But whatever it is, it encourages us "drink at home" people to go out to a bar... which we did. Since our interaction with this store was so minimal but their staff was friendly, I feel good about leaving them a higher rating than what they have. But nothing turned out that leads me to anything but A-ok. read more

Stopped in here strictly to buy some beer to have with our pizza for lunch. We got lunch from Pizza Rustica across the street, and decided we didn't want to pay their beer prices, so we went with an old faithful in 7-Eleven. I was excited to see that they offered Yuengling for sale here, and even more excited that I could buy just one rather than a 6-pack (since I didn't have a way to keep it chilled). I would have preferred a glass bottle, but the cans were okay since they were 16 ounces instead of 12. So we each bought one. The cashiers were incompetent and didn't want to be there. I was clearly waiting in line and they let some other random person pay and ignored us. Not cool. They should have told them to wait their turn, but they didn't seem to care. read more

This has got to be the WORST 7-11 that I have EVER been to. It is dirty, unorganized and disgusting!!! I have never had an experience like this. The regional manager needs to redo the store to the expectation of 7-11. No coffee prepared, no creamers, just horrible. I went in last night to grab a couple of bags of chips and to get ice for my 7-11 cup. The clerk told me he would have to charge me 99 cents for the ice, despite the fact it was my 7-11 cup. I never heard of this in my life. I frequent many 7-11 around the country and never heard of this policy. I live right next door to this 711 I go in the morning and in the night . It's always busy but very well managed around the clock. Can you image opening 24 7 on South Beach ? 'That's not an easy place to manage but they do . Very well stocked and always quick service the manager at night is always aware of everyone walking and always welcomes me.
