Sheesh... Crowded in the morning! This 7-Eleven store is right around the corner from my house so anytime I need a quick fix on junk i stop by. Customer service sucks! Everyone that works here probably hates working here and they are not afraid to show it! lol But they serve their purpose: cash you out! For the most part the store is clean and odor-free on the inside, unfortunately the same can't be said of the outside. The usual bums lure outside asking for spare change or the drunks that walk across the street from the

I understand having old people working but his hearing is so bad. They should get him a hearing aids otherwise have better people work.

Crooks at the register, stay away. The guy gave me $10 less in change than he should have. And no receipt. On purpose.

Large chocolate bingsoo - this was ok, I would have liked to see a little more chocolate incorporated into the dish. Large caramel bingsoo - loved the crunch that came with the cereal pieces. Large original red bean bingsoo - classic combo if you wanted something a little more simple Large injeolmi bingsoo. Large matcha red bean bingsoo - another classic combo. The matcha wasn't overpowering and the slight bitterness balanced out the sweet in the dish. Mango sago - classic summertime fave. The fresh mango and sago was a hit with the toddlers and not too sweet. I ordered everything for pick up via door dash. It was ready a lot sooner than expected too. Since it was such a large pick up order, I told the gentleman at the register I'd make a couple trips. He actually followed behind me to my car to help me load everything up. That was so nice!

I'd love to keep Pie Dreams my little secret, but out of respect for the proprietor's mad baking skills, it's behind Dino's. The owner is passionate about his pies and shared his philosophy about how pie can make us all nicer, gentler people. I mean, that's not exactly verbatim, but the pie case made it hard to pay attention. On my visit, there were two savory pies (hand pies) and a selection of sweet pies (hand pies and slices). Being a big supporter of small businesses, I ordered 4. All I can say is I'm super happy I don't live closer. The chicken bacon hand pie was delicious. Big pieces of chicken in a flavorful creamy sauce. There may have been some vegetables in it but I was driving and it was unsafe to inspect my pie closely. The caramel apple hand pie was good. Because I'm not an apple pie fan I appreciated that the apples were sliced thinly, not chunky, and I loved the addition of the sanding sugar on top. I ordered the apricot frangipane (AF) for two reasons: it was double-crusted and it didn't have whipped cream on top. I wasn't totally on board with frangipane since my experience with it in boxed chocolates was "meh." Plus they seem to love it on the Great British Bake-Off and it always looks so unappealing. But paired with the tartness of the apricots and a crust that reminded me of shortbread, I think the AF was my favorite, though I haven't tried the blueberry lemon yet. If you love pie, go to Pie Dreams and have a slice or three (no judgment here). If you're not sure or don't think you like pie, go to Pie Dreams. You may surprise yourself.

Now for the options, they all sounded good and were hard to choose from! I like that they have specials of the month, seasonal, and mainstays. I choose one of monthly specials coconut pudding, and mainstay french silk. I also ordered the cheese burger hand pie for my husband, which he loved! The coconut pudding pie was sooo good, loved the texture and flavor, they had toasted coconut on the side to add on top. The fresh silk pie was my favorite! It was not overly chocolatey and had a nice mousse texture, there was an under layer of crisp ganache that made all the flavors and textures pop! The crust is nice and buttery and flakey. These were not heavy pies, just creamy light melt in your mouth. They also have frozen pies so you can take and bake yourself. This definitely satisfied my sweet tooth, and will be back this time to order a whole pie!

Mufawar Coffee : Before cappuccinos and lattes, there was Mufawar. Born in Yemen's highlands, this creamy, cardamom-infused coffee made my morning, I loved being able to choose the sweetness level. Bee Bites: Sliced like a pie, covered in honey, delicious pastry with cheese inside. The kids loved this and debated over who got the last piece. Fatayer: I've had the chicken, beef, and spinach & feta and all were excellent. It's snack-sized and not too big and actually a perfect size for me to pair with their excellent coffee. Musakhan Chicken Roll: Chicken, olive oil, onion, spices. Again, I might be in the minority but I like snack sized food and not too big. I split this in half as a 2 snacks and it was excellent. Za'atar and cheese croissant: Za'atar is one of my favorite spice combos and Ioved it on this croissant, I reheated this in a toaster oven at 350 degrees at home and it was excellent!
