    a gas station at night

Big location! The 7- eleven is partnered with this Shell gas station. I had to do 2 separate transactions because it's 2 separate businesses. Not a big deal just thought it was weird. Guy was nice when he helped me.

This is Amarjit. He is extremely rude and also refuses to wear his mask as required.

This location has an employee who refuses to wear a mask even though it is required during this pandemic. I have notified the owner of the business George Gill on 4 separate occasions. He has done nothing to address this issue whatsoever. George clearly does not care about the law or about the safety of his customers. Not only is he being reported to corporate but to LA County for failure to follow protective orders.

This place is horrible, that Indian cashier must be the worst cashier in history. 3:00 am and don't even have coffee, when I arrived he started making noises like freaking monkey, for a moment I thought he had a disability.

These are great for handing out on halloween night.

This 7-11has a gas station which is nice and convenient. Also a tire shop next to it. Lol. But they do have alot of your favorite drinks and snacks. They could have a better variety of wines and beer but it's a decent selection. Slurpee's are my favorite when stopping by here..

Apparently, whatever price he wants to charge you is the right price and not whatever is posted.

Since Covid the stores seem to be a bit dirty but other than that they are fully stocked and have a larger variety of drinks.

Hopped on Yelp to find a coffee spot and Steeple House came up. Interestingly enough, the coffee shop is located within a church campus so it's a bit harder to find. We did get to find it thanks to a kind young man who directed us. Now, don't be afraid to stop in because it's located within a church campus. The coffee they serve are great. From Onyx to Black and White Coffee Roasters. The litmus test for how well a barista can do is ordering an espresso straight. My brother's shot was under extracted and he gave it a 2.5, mine was better and was a 3.5/4 Majority of shops will definitely pull shots and use roasts that are more in the classic profile which we don't really like, but it hits with 95 percent of "coffee snobs" we however, prefer true medium roasts that aren't "burnt" or "strong", but when most people are ordering iced lattes, we understand that you need that burnt taste in order to cut through all that milk. Service was great and the vibe is super chill. It's a relatively small shop but it's a nice place to study and to chill.

Like it's fully in a church village kind of thing. While drinking my coffee, little kids were brought out on their recess to play. So be aware of that, but there's also an inside section if you want a bit more quiet. The interior is really cute with free WiFi and fun drinks. The staff was very friendly and nice. I ordered the banana cold brew which was really good and my friend had the matcha latte. The chocolate croissant was also really good! Delicious! :)

They use Onyx (from what i noticed), and the sound of the milk being steamed sounded silky (-: ! The layout of the cafe is nice: entry/line formation moves in a counter clockwise motion. Allows customers to enter space and wait in line while leaving space for people to exit/ wait to pick up their drink. First come, first serve for pastries - expect this for freshness purposes. Drink and their components are measured for consistency and quality control. Wait is subjective in relation to volume at the time which you go. Came in at about 1:30 PM on a Sunday (today was 8/16). Curated menu for their specialty drinks that aligns with their identity. Standard menu for espresso based beverages. Great selection for their Single Origin menu. Roasters they use align with those they highlight on their shelves for retail as a multi-roaster cafe. Ordered a Columbia from Hydrangea - enjoyed thoroughly! When it was still quite hot you get the heavy aroma and flavor of the pastry notes in the coffee. Then more tea-like once it cools down more. Coldbrew in the Woodman did not feel like your typical bold-in-flavor base. Which I think works for the inclusions in the beverage. Not your typical/second wave coffee shop. It's cool to see shops want to bridge that gap between fun drinks and specialty coffee! Kudos to Lynx!

It was 7:58 a.m., and I stopped in to grab my usual coffee before my appointment next door. I accidentally left my wallet at home, my Apple Pay wasn't working, and the only cash I had was a $100 bill. My total was only $8.50. I even offered a simple solution--I asked if another employee could pay for my coffee and I would immediately Zelle them the money. All three employees told me that was "beyond their job duties" and refused to help. Instead, they pointed to the sign stating they don't accept $100 bills and had me leave without making any effort to accommodate a regular customer. The disappointing part isn't that they couldn't break a $100 bill--it's that no one showed even the slightest willingness to help find a solution. I come here almost every Friday because I have appointments at the salon next door, and after this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. A little kindness and customer service go a long way. Unfortunately, I found neither here.

Cara Vana Coffee Shop is honestly one of the best local coffee shops I've tried in a while!…read more I hate to say it, but a lot of local coffee shops tend to miss the mark for me. The coffee can be bitter, and sometimes you order a vanilla latte and can barely taste any vanilla. But Cara Vana gets it right. Their Horchata Iced Latte is absolutely delicious! I always get iced coffee, and this one has quickly become a favorite. It is definitely on the sweeter side, which is exactly how I like my coffee, but they have no problem modifying the sweetness if you prefer it less sweet. The horchata flavor is actually distinct and tastes SO good with the coffee. It doesn't just get lost in the espresso. The shop itself is also really cute, with a modern Latino flair that gives it a great atmosphere. And of course, I love supporting Latino-owned businesses! The staff are always so kind and welcoming, too, which makes the experience even better. And I have to mention the green burrito and the salsa they serve with it. Both are a MUST try! Great coffee, great food, cute atmosphere, and genuinely nice people. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a good local coffee shop!

Extremely disappointing first and last visit…read more I walked in expecting a simple coffee, but the customer service was incredibly disappointing. The barista was playing games on his phone while I was speaking to him, and I could clearly see that he was still on his phone because of the way he was positioned. I was already frustrated by the lack of attention, but things got worse after I finished ordering. After I tapped my card, I was told that there had been a mistake and that I had only been charged 9 cents, so I needed to come back and pay again. Mistakes happen, and I would have completely understood if he had simply apologized and handled the situation professionally. Instead, he continued playing on his phone while dealing with me. The entire interaction came across as incredibly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Customer service should be the bare minimum, especially when someone is taking the time to come into your establishment and spend their money. Unfortunately, this experience was enough to make me realize that this would be my first and last visit. There are plenty of coffee shops where customers can get good coffee and basic courtesy.
