This by far is one of the best Starbucks that I have been to in a very long time. Seriously! After the church, I walked in today at 11:20AM, and got a very warm, nice, pleasant greeting from Carol. This lady was just AMAZING! In every way. There were 3 people ahead of me, and then it was my turn to place my order. The line moved like a breeze. I got Blueberry Muffin ($3.75), a butter Croissant, ($4.65), a Chocolate Croissant, ($4.95), a decaf Iced Cold Vanilla Latte, ($4.95), with Coconut milk, (free of charge), 2 Tomato Mozzarella Sandwiches with touch of Pesto sauce. Each for $7.75. I also asked for a large cup of ice. Carol was very attentive to detail and didn't miss a thing. She got my order right, and everything came out in less than 5 minutes. They had 5 employees working together in harmony. All very helpful. Cin, one of the baristas got my food and drink ready, and I ate inside. Ate one of the sandwiches there, and took the other one to go. Both Croissants were nicely warmed up and tasted very good. So was my muffin. Carol poured my grande latte in a separate glass for convenience. Special thanks for that. They had a little mix up with my baked goods. I had ordered one Blueberry Muffin, so with that being said, the other item was free. Ambiance was great. Clean indoor and outdoor seating, with gender neutral restroom and fine music playing overhead. Let me not forget, they provided plates at this Starbucks. Some places will just give your food in paper packets. It was a very lovely experience at this Starbucks. My food was good and my iced coffee was made to perfection. This was my neighborhood Starbucks for years. And I miss it. The employees are awesome and service is great and quick. I moved to Denver and the local Starbucks has a severe lack of customer service. They all treat you like you're a bother to them. It's a real shame. So it inspired me to give some love to my old local crew. Who loved my dog, joined my morning calls with my partner in Thailand and never seemed bothered by me having a conversation with her on my AirPods. In fact a few of them would come by and say hi to her and remember her name which was lovely for her. So thanks to all of you. I guess you really don't know what it's got till it's gone! read more

So, Starbucks still has a crappy reputation as a company however out of convenience I came into this location a while back. I met Alex and Kenie, who have turned around my entire experience for this store and brand. I'm now a regular at this location because of the two of them. They contribute amazing friendly energy to my day. I've seen that other customers feel the same way. You can get drinks everywhere but it's the connection with the people that can elevate an experience and brighten your day. I stopped by this Starbucks today to get a drink. I parked across the street because there was more parking there. This Starbucks is in a lot with limited parking spots but if you come early, you should get a spot. When I came, they were not busy so I was able to put in my grande Mango Dragonfruit with light ice. When my drink was ready, one of the older barista just put it on the pick up counter but didn't say the name. So if you weren't paying attention then your drink will just sit there until you check. I have never been into a more efficiently run Starbucks. This is a small and very busy store. The manager of this place was killing it with no less than 4 additional employees who were all absolutely on top of their game. The practice of having a barista call out what they are working on while preparing a drink was something I've never witnessed in a Starbucks or any coffee shop for that matter. Every single employee in there took pride in their work and seemed to be in some kind of work flow state. It was a microcosm of what the world could be like if people respected who they they worked for, felt a sense of reward from what they did and had a sense of purpose outside of their workplace. I know this sounds over the top - but seriously. Go into this place, order a drink and just hang out and observe for a bit. It's inspiring. Starbucks corporate - if you are reading this - the manager at this place (working 5/9 at 1pm) is a superstar and you'd be wise do something about it before he realizes it and decides to move on. Everyone on the shift I witnessed was just amazing. From changing the garbage bin liners to calling out a drink again which was sitting too long until the owner claimed it. Honestly, no Starbucks location deserves a higher rating than this one. I often come here with my little son, and I always receive excellent treatment from everyone. But the main reason I really wanted to leave the most positive review is because of Alex!!! -- the guy who works here. I don't know who needs to see this, but he truly deserves an award for being one of the best Starbucks employees and get the best promotion. The food is satisfactory... I don't love eating at Starbucks but I do enjoy a cheese stick every now and then. It's a close walk from my house, I like coming here it's usually not very crowded. Bathroom says it's for paying customers only. There's a sign on the door that states this. I went to the counter told the guy I need to use the bathroom. I would like to buy this apple juice about the apple juice. He gave me the bathroom code. Sit there for 10 minutes waiting for the bathroom to be free. Right before the person comes out guy walks in and walks to the counter and gets a code doesn't buy anything walks up right in front of me goes into the bathroom doesn't let me go. Told the staff yo I paid to be able to use his bathroom. All three of them looked at me like they were fucking stupid. I've never seen people with more dumbfounded looks on their faces. This particular location is a busy one, no doubt, but the staff usually works well together pumping out food and drinks in quick fashion. This Starbucks appears to maintain the same staff which is always helpful instead of always having high turnover. For as busy as this location is, the staff manages to maintain the cleanliness. I appreciate when they have an expeditor at the front door assisting customers as they come in with their mobile drink orders. It ensures customers aren't picking up food and drinks that aren't theirs and either walking off with them or placing them back down after they have touched them. This Starbucks is located in a strip shopping center that has shared parking with Subway, UPS Store, State Farm, nail salon, etc. Sometimes finding parking is difficult. There is some street parking available if the parking lot is full. read more

Nice small Starbucks at the corner of Laurel Canyon Blvd. and Riverside with friendly atmosphere with professional staff serving decent coffee and other beverages. They have lots of pastries and other stuff that I like. We ordered Americano with Oatley milk. They have a piping hot coffee but not enough of Oatley milk. I went to see if they had self service at the counter! Unfortunately they had no self service counter. Therefore only four stars. read more

The prices aren't awful and I like that I can still get a venti match a cake pop and marshmallow bar for $12. The service however, needs to improve. The guy at register one was just not happy to be there and wasn't very verbal either. I thanked him and he just gave me the uhhhhummmm. Asking for a receipt seemed to be an issue as well. Thankfully he didn't make my drink, a nice curly haired young lady did. I'll be back as I always come back but man.. lighten up and spread kindness or seek help. I love my local Starbucks. They are ALWAYS nice, they know me, and even when customers get rude or irritated -the staff stays professional and respectful. I give them BIG PROPS for always keeping calm and doing their best to keep their customers happy. SO customers....be NICE. What happened? This used to be a friendly service place. Once the remodel happened all the usual baristas left and the grumpy trolls took over. Service is now terrible. I come to this location a few times a month since it is by my boyfriend. The parking lot is tiny and there is no drive thru. However, if you can't get a parking spot you can always park at Gelson's and walk over. They do have a restroom that you can use and are encouraging social distancing. No open space for eating or drinking indoors or out. What always makes this location bring a smile to my face is the colorful art and sayings that they have in the windows. This Starbucks has some really nice folks working the counter, but it is seriously understaffed. There is always a line to pick up food or beverages and they just seem overwhelmed even when you arrive just after they open (which is when I show up - en route to early morning meetings). I've been several times in the last few weeks - always early morning - and it's always the same. They need more help. But they are super nice. Tiny parking lot so if you show up late morning or mid-day, that's going to be a problem. read more

I went there early this morning, June 15. I was the only ciustomer. The two Barristas working completely ignored me when I walked in, then when they did decide to acknowledge that I was a living person, instead of greeting me with a "Good Morning," or even "Hello" one of them, without even looking up from the counter, said, "Order over there." She kept on paying attention to her counter, and the other young woman walked over to the register and just looked at me with a "what do you want," scowl on her face. I ordered a coffee. Not a "thank you," not a smile; both of these employees treated me as if I were an enormous interruption to them. The one who took the payment was actually rude. When I went to pay with Apple Pay, I wasn't sure where to put my phone. Instead of politely showing me the scanner, she merely barked, "Scan." When I mistook the ATM screen the for the Apple Pay scanner, (as it is in every other business) she barked again, "Scan!" Both of them were so rude, I won't be going back to this location. I can pay for overpriced coffee somewhere else where they treat customers as if they matter, and not like they are annoyances. read more
