If you come here check your receipts! I usually don't but I did and I was overcharged for one item. After realizing I went back to correct it which they did. After refunding the over charged item the cashier attempted to keep my merchandise I already pay for. This sounds strange but it's what can happen when we let our guard down. Also the worker tried insinuating I should simply "take another item" as if that would fix the situation. No sir I need my money back. I would leave a zero out of five stars if possible. The clerk, Singh, was the most rudest and unprofessional employee I've ever come across at any establishment. I came into the store to redeem a lotto scratcher that I got as a gift from a family member. Singh asked me in a rude manner (without saying hello or how may I help you) to show my ID, which I didn't have on me at the moment and had to go to the car to grab. I told him I have to get it from the car. I go and grab my ID and return and wait in line again and started recording on my iPhone since Singh gave me a feeling that he was going to try and say it was a fake ID. When it is my turn to get served he claims that the lotto machine is suddenly not working. He tried to PHYSICALLY push me aside through the gap of plastic barrier and so that he could let the next customer walk-up, who is a Caucasian male. When I asked him how is it not working when I just came in and it was working fine, he said because he didn't want to check. So first it was I need my ID, now the machine doesn't work? (Someone just sounds lazy...) When I refused to leave before being helped so that I was not push aside for a Caucasian customer, Singh threw my lotto scratchers and ID around the store and continued to try and physically touch me from the other side of the counter!! I have all of this on a video with audio showing that Singh admits that the lotto equipment was indeed operable and that he was refusing service based on the fact that he didn't like me, even though this was our only encounter ever. I will be forwarding it to the BBB, PA chamber of commerce and possibly even the police since this was borderline attempted assault considering COVID-19 is a deadly disease and your employee insisted on trying to touch me. I know from working many years in retail, restaurants, and grocery stores that you are not supposed to treat customers in this manner, under any circumstance. At that moment when I was in the store I was the only non-white customer. I had witnessed Singh help the other customers before me, who were Caucasian, and he never treated them with the same disrespect he treated me. This is a racist establishment and I will never return here in my life. I have been living in the area for almost 20 years and I used to come to the 7-Eleven on my way home after school and middle school and high school. Never have I once had an experience like this at any 7-Eleven. I really hope the management at this establishment can control the workers better or they will continue to lose business, which I don't think is ideal considering we are still in a pandemic. read more

Well, today 7/11/07 happened to be the 80th Anniversary of 7-Eleven stores (1927-2007) and a yelper had mentioned the FREE slurpee at all 7-Eleven stores. Walked in knowing this and asked one of the guys working there. Yes, it's FREE so I asked him which size is it. It's a kiddie cup size probably less than 8oz, but then it's still FREE. This would be a great store...if the store enforced an anti-loitering policy. Why? The store has a small group of guys waiting just outside the door (on the Lytton side). They sometimes ask customers for money, cigarettes or food. While the store is your run-of-the-mill 7/11 convenience store (sans gasoline), you can't help but "take notice" of your surroundings. As a result, we feel a little less inclined to stop and shop here. The parking lot of this store is small and crowded (people often park for the adjoining laundry mat), so your chances of actually finding a spot is low. The video vending machine is great -- but the lines are often extremely long. We have waited in line for 20-30 minutes just to return a DVD or Blu Ray. The line inside of the store is often long as well. So, this is actually a "not-so-convenient" store. As is true of most convenience stores, the selection is limited and the prices are inflated about 25-50% over grocery stores. By 2 PM, the donuts are already quite old. They continue to sell them all night long. I have purchased stale donuts in the morning that tasted as if they were delivered a day or two earlier. Palo Alto is typically a very safe place to shop and dine. However, you sense that this store resembles one that you would find elsewhere (like in a bigger city). The "fresh" food is often stale and "meh" while the parking lot is just too small for the area. The people who loiter in the parking lot cause some concern. If the parking lot situation was improved and the store actively cleared out the beggars in the parking lot, I would give the store four stars (better than average for a convenient store). Unfortunately, the store's location and atmosphere makes it viable only for pedestrians who aren't afraid of being approached by questionable characters in the parking lot. Just came in to the location to buy a drink. Bought 2 sodas for the promo of 2 for $3.00. I noticed they over charged me and charged me $3.59 for both not including crv and tax. The two employees refused to recognize that they overcharged me. I am more upset for the fact that these employees can not even admit there is an error and justified the fact that what I was charged was correct. Both confirmed that the sodas were 2 for $3 but paying $3.91 was correct. I ultimately returned my sodas because I was not going to be scammed by this place. Little boy who looks 15 or 16 enters with a beer in his hand and then goes to ask for a paper bag so he doesn't get caught by the police. The employee hands him the bag as nothing was wrong for the little boy to be hiding a beer. Employee was very rude once I went to check out and had attitude. When I went to swipe my cars the employee turned the card reader before I could even enter my pin. I thought it was my card I was swiping not his. All I wanted was to pay for my gallon of water. Like any other 7eleven is mediocre. The place look clean and she shelves are full with goods. Standing in line for ipad2 and got hungry, so ordered one of those big bites. I got a large hot dog with unlimited hot chili and cheese. On top of that I got some doughnuts, glazed old fashion. Yummy! I saw someone come in and got a scratcher as well. I did not know they were allowed to sell them that early in the morning. Usually they don't sell it after a certain time at night. Overall like most 7-11 are decent place that opens 24hr with snacks and foods. Parking is available, the front door has a tiny lot, but the back has public parking available. I go in there almost daily because it's convienent, there's an employee who feels entitled, he's rude to customers, tries to publicly shame the homeless ones and when there's a long line he rarely helps his coworkers. He's even publicly tried to embarrase me by stating I stole from the store and I'm banned and then started laughing. When I was 10, it was the Flintstones orange sherbet push-up pops that lured me in. By 14, it was the blue Slurpee's (you can fit more in if you put the rounded cover on first). Now they have a multitude of delightful options including "the bomb" burrito, nearly McDs quality breakfast sandwiches, and jalapeno and cream cheese taquitos.
