Feels like Google here. Young people on their computers and line that seems to never end. Parking is a little tricky. I recommend street parking rather than navigating their small parking space. I only dock a star because my Tiramisu Latte came out looking like it spilled and the worker didn't bother cleaning the cup. Nice place.
Came here on a Saturday morning and there was line. I waited about 15 minutes. This place has seasonal special, but since it was my first time, I wanted to try their permanent menu. Madagascar Vanilla Latte (4/5); It wasn't too crazy. The coffee taste is stronger than the vanilla. Solid, but nothing too crazy. Watermelon Jasmine (3/5); I thought this would really sweet, but it wasn't sweetened at all. The tea tasted a bit sour. The watermelon flavor was there but it wasn't that great since it wasn't sweet but that's my preference. I would come back for their seasonal drinks
I have only been to Covour coffee once but I can see myself becoming a regular to this coffee shop The good thing is that this coffee shop is not in Palo Alto downtown which makes it less crowded, better parking situation and best suited for doing WF coffee shop. Love the high ceilings, bright light, their ceramic ware and very friendly staff. I had a cappuccino along with a chocolate croissant and I loved both. The little details like the printed to go cups is what makes a lot of difference for me
Perfect cafe to spend your time working from home or studying. Covour Coffee is located in an unassuming spot, serving the neighborhood a great selection of caffeine. I have already been to Covour a handful of times, mostly on weekdays, where I'm usually planted there for a few hours to do some work or study. On the weekends, it can get quite busy, while weekdays are more of a gamble depending on how many people are there. The parking lot is on the smaller side, so on busy days, it can feel a bit hectic. The space itself has a good number of tables to work or study from, along with great lighting. I really appreciate the selection of drinks they have, ranging from fun flavored lattes like tiramisu and burnt brown sugar to matchas, hojichas, and classic cafe staples like americanos and flat whites. Everything I've had here has been delicious and always hits the spot. They also have a range of food and toasts you can order. I recently got the ricotta and honey toast, which was delicious and light! Heads up, though, as expected, they do run low on stock later in the day. I came around 2 PM, and there were maybe four baked goods left. Overall, it's a great choice, and if you're in the area, definitely check them out.
I told myself I'd stop by every time I'm in the neighborhood, and Covour keeps proving to me why. Was nearby for a soccer tournament for the kiddos, needed coffee, so popped right in. Their cortado was dialed in. Just the perfect balance of flavor. I also tried their plain croissant, maple scone, and cinnamon rolls, and every single one was on point. This place is not just a fancy hangout spot. Everything is indeed legit here! Reliable spot. Will keep coming back!
Came back to Covour and was soooo excited and happy to see the new cup upgrade ! It is now 14oz. More content and better visualization of the drink in generally. This really means that they care and take feedbacks to improve customer experience. Drinks and pastries are always on point. The Early Grey Matcha is just right balanced of the earl grey top+syrup and that is not too spiced ! Love and will continue to support Covour as the positive progress are being made through out !
This has been our go-to breakfast spot lately. We love their drinks (both regular espresso drinks and matcha/hojicha lattes), and we love their toasts! Our fave is the honey ricotta with pistachio, but the others are great, too. It can get pretty busy with seating best for smaller groups and pairs.
This was my first time visiting CC. And am I glad I got there early. In fact, I drove more North to go here only to drive back South to my next destination! This place is very popular and gets crowded quickly. And rightfully so because everything is well done. Service? Check! Matcha Latte? Check! Variety of pastries? Check and Check! I ordered a Matcha Latte and Raspberry croissant to eat there, plus 4-5 pastries to enjoy the rest of the week. Everything was a hit IMHO.

Where are you getting $5 dollar lattes nowadays? We spent about $50 bucks with all we got. Avocado toast without an egg was about $12. I don't typically get avocado toasts since anyone can make them but my husband was hungry. It was pretty big and seems filling. He said he really liked it- it was seasoned well. I had to ask them to warm up my pastries! This should be offered as service! No one likes a cold ass pastry. It all tastes differently remember that! The spinach feta danish tasted 10x better after being warmed up. It was something I'd come back for. Raspberry pistachio croissant was delish too but needed to be warmed up! I love how it had some filling in it as well. Pandan mochi muffin was soft in the middle! I didn't expect this because they look dry AF but they were pretty good! All were good and not so sweet which is a A+ in my book. Not too expensive either. Hojicha Einspanner...wow! I love hojicha and we don't have a "Einspanner" in Vegas. So this was my favorite! It was not sweet at all. I wish we had this back in Vegas. My husband really like the Madagascar vanilla latte as well! He said it was really smooth. Worth the dime. The cheap plastic lids are terrible. Please replace those! I honestly don't think this place is mid at all. Prices are what you pay for at this location. Ambiance- chill. Lots of people hanging out and studying. It does get busy so come early. Expect lines.
My new favorite cafe! Came here not knowing what to expect and when I stepped in, I was greeted by the most amazing pastry case. Literally wanted to buy everything in it, but I opted for one item (banana chocolate hazelnut croissant). They heated it for me and it was delicious. I ordered a matcha einspanner, so so perfect. Not overly sweet, with a delicious cream top and matcha powder sprinkle for fun. Vibes are so clean and minimalist. Service was friendly and quick. Can't wait to come back! Parking is a little tight, so be prepared. Pet friendly bench in front!
Covour is a great spot for a focused work session. The space is clean, bright, and airy with high ceilings that give it a relaxed, open feel. Most people there were heads-down on their laptops, which sets the tone nicely. The cortado (4/5) was well-made and balanced - exactly what you want from a specialty coffee shop. We also loved the art on the coffee cup, a small but unique touch that stood out. Simple things done right. Parking is easy: there's street parking right out front, and additional spots in the back shared with the neighboring businesses.
Cute shop with lots of different matcha drinks, which I love. Got the earl grey matcha latte and you can tell their matcha is good quality. The cinnamon roll and cardamom twist were also very good. Long line on a Saturday morning and not much seating (and it's uncomfy benches) but there is a lot of movement if you wait a bit.
Stopped by for the first time to try their new summer menu and was floored by how incredible their drinks were! Staff was really friendly, shoutout to Pablo especially for crafting some incredibly unique & well balanced drinks, Mi Amor (the Rose/Mazapan Hojicha) is seriously one of the best hojicha drinks I've ever tried! I'll definitely have to grab that again before it's gone.

I will forever hype up Covour. Yes, the lines can be annoyingly long, especially on weekends, but they're absolutely worth it. I've worked my way through both the permanent and seasonal menus, and I genuinely can't think of a bad drink I've had. The Einspänner on any drink is unmatched, but honestly, every drink has been so good that picking a favorite feels impossible. The pastries are just as impressive! Always fresh, scrumptious, and worth every calorie. I remember when you could walk right in without much of a wait, but influencers have definitely done their job putting special places like this on the map. My only real complaints? The weekend lines and the fact that a coffee shop opens at 8 a.m. Let me get my caffeine fix earlier! Still, this is an easy 5/5. The drinks and pastries are on another level, and the hype is completely deserved. read more
lovely cafe with lots of specialty drinks! they just released their summer specials which seem interesting so I have to come back. this time, we got: - pistachio raspberry croissant ($7): this was quite disappointing, would not recommend. it was soggy and mushy. - ham & cheese croissant ($7): would recommend! - matcha einspanner ($7): the cream atop the matcha was delicious. would have liked stronger matcha but the matcha itself wasn't bitter which was nice. - tiramisu latte ($7): also a win, you could taste the chocolate-y notes with the espresso. wish the base was more nutty but it's personal preference. read more
I am far from a coffee connoisseur and literally had to Google Einspänner prior to ordering. I was the second in line during my visit and after placing my order, the line suddenly grew and the cafe filled up. I was not sure what to expect, but I am familiar with my teas so that was what had caught my attention at Covour Coffee. I ordered the Earl Grey latte and the Hojicha einspanner and I really enjoyed the roasted, nutty and earthy taste of the Hojicha. The einspanner (sweetened whip cream) added a creaminess to the graininess of the Hojicha and the perfect amount sugar went with it. The Earl Grey also had a strong flavor with a good amount of sweetness. Although the flavors were strong, the only thing lacking was the temperature, was it normal for the drinks to be lukewarm even though I picked it up immediately? I also ordered the Pandan and Ube mochi muffins and it was undercooked. The center should be soft and chewy, but it was gooey and wet. The drinks were great and the pastries were expensive and disappointing. Would definitely come back to try their matcha einspanner or other drinks. Considering how small their parking lot was, glad that the spots were mostly 20minute parking only so you would for sure find parking. read more

Super cute interior and cute vibes all around! I went to get coffee here on a weekend afternoon, and there definitely was a line (so be aware if you're looking for a quick stop for coffee)! I got a regular peppermint latte and a specialty drink, and I would say it was alright. The coffee does the job, but it's not anything to go out of your way for. read more

finally tried Covour Coffee. got an americano and the vienna einspanner, not bad at all. my friend had the matcha einspanner and literally devoured it so fast, she really liked it. pastries looked sooo good too. plenty of seating inside but it was packed on a saturday morning. also just one restroom in the back so there was a bit of a wait. read more

I visited Covour Coffee on a Saturday morning, and found it super busy. The line was almost out the door, but it did move quickly. The interior was bright and clean, with minimal decor and some indoor seating. I was immediately tempted by the pastry display - Pistachio Raspberry Croissants, Chocolate Banana Hazelnut Croissants, Pumpkin Brioche, White Chocolate Matcha Cookies, etc. I managed to resist temptation, but will definitely try these in the future. For drinks, I got an iced Burnt Honey Latte, which was incredible. The flavor of the honey was powerful, but didn't take away from the strong espresso. Must return to try the Dirty Ube Latte and pastries! read more
We came here on a sunday afternoon around 12:30 pm . It was fully packed and the line was super long . Luckily it moved fast . We could barely find a table to sit . My friend needed a place with lap top plugged in so it was even harder. We ordered two coffees and one tea . I got Shanghai lychee Jasmin , which is a very strong red tea and could have been made into a big pot of tea . My friend got burnt honey latte and dirty ube latte . Their coffees were excellent that explained the line was so long . They had about 10 tiny tables inside with bench box chairs . It was too crowded and not comfortable to sit on for too long . Most people stood in line to pick up the on line order then left . Great restroom with cute decorations. A few posters for local events ( winery , ballet, etc ) that are interesting. I don't like the ambiance but the customers service is great . Few parking space at the front . You could mostly park on the street near by . read more
Cute local neighborhood cafe that's walking distance for us. Stopped in for some specialty drinks (burnt honey latte and a matcha latte) along with a cappuccino to judge. Specialty drinks are the way to go; cappuccino was mediocre. Signage and staff could be more helpful as people were milling around waiting for drinks (not obvious) and the regulars could just cut the line. read more
I visited the place for the first time and it was really nice. Staff is friendly, cool city vibe, good coffee. I tried Spanish coffee within caffeinated drinks and it was a bit too sweet to my test. Along signature drinks there was a tiramisu latte for $7, that was really nice and chocolaty. The prices are a bit higher than average. It is very crowded with people with laptops. I grabbed the place near the window, that was really good spot! There is one really nice and spacious restroom at the back of the coffee place. read more

I've made a few visits to Covour before heading to work. The space has a decent amount of seating, and always has a good amount of people waiting for their to-go drinks at the front, as well as half their tables filled with people working and conversing. I ordered an iced earl grey matcha latte with whole milk, the earl grey part being infused in both as a syrup and in the cream top. I don't normally order cream tops as they're too rich/sweet for my liking, but I love earl grey flavored desserts. This has a strong earl grey flavor that doesn't overpower the matcha. However, I'm not sure if it was the cream top or the earl grey, but every sip I took left an oily residue. The cream top also didn't have a strong earl grey flavor. I wouldn't mind reordering this without the cream top and just adding the earl grey syrup. However, for an $8 drink this size, I don't see myself seeking this out unless it's conveniently close read more

My friend recommended this café, and I LOVED IT. I went around 10am on a Saturday, and the line was pretty long, and worth the wait! I'd recommend going early, though. The parking lot is quite small, however there's plenty of street parking around. There's plenty of seating inside, however since it does get packed, it can be hard to grab a seat I had a difficult time deciding on what drink to order bc everything sounded so good! I ordered the seasonal Café de Olla, Pistachio Berry Croissant, and the Pandan Mochi!! I finished everything in one sitting, I can't wait to come back and try their matcha and other pastries! read more

Covour coffee is a hip coffee shop where lots of local and nonlocals go Parking is a bit tight, but I saw a cybertruck navigate it so should be doable Overall great vibes, good coffee, helpful staff Their matcha was on point and the burnt honey latte was good and unique but a little too sweet Definitely recommend! read more
I tried the matcha einspänner (cold) and the tiramisu latte (hot), and both were delicious. The tiramisu latte is typically ordered cold, but it was good hot too--if you like sweeter drinks. I also tried the everything croissant with cream cheese inside, which was delicious. All of the baked goods looked great, so I'll definitely try another next time. There were long lines, and it's generally pretty busy, but it's a beautiful location with big windows that let in lots of natural light. read more
Great vibes at this coffee shop in Palo Alto. It was super busy when we went and most tables were taken up with people working or hanging out. It was quite lively. Service was great and for how busy it was the order came out quick. Pastries were great and had lots of butter and the drinks were solid with good flavor. Thankfully the drinks were not being drown out in sweetness like some coffee spots. I hope to come back and try more of their many cool lattes. read more

So I am really trying to stay up to date on my reviews for places I frequent more than usual. Covour Coffee is a very convenient coffee shop for me and we really do go here for ease (mostly when we forgot to buy coffee beans) before the line picks up. I have been able to try some "newer" menu items for myself and gave the toast items a chance. I thought this was a really great addition and would like to see this item extend to a weekend option as well. As for the service I think my previous experience was just in the mist of the location gaining its hype for the area. I have been able to visit a bit more recently and I do time it just before the rush or after the initial rush. I do think this place is a great space to sit and get some work done - esp. now on the weekdays since I finally got to try the toast read more

Been here several times and this place is dope. It opened I believe about a year ago and is always busy. Came here in a Saturday and the line was out the door, but the service is always great and quick. Got the tiramisu latte and it was really good. Has sprinkles of cocoa powder with melted marshmallows on the top. Every drink on the menu is great but this is one their best. Make sure to check Covour if you're in the Palo Alto area right off Middlefield Rd. read more
I visited on a Sunday at noon and there was a long line. The parking is quite narrow and hard to find when the coffee shop is busy. After a 15 minute wait in line, we received our drinks in five minutes. I ordered the burnt honey latte half sweet. The espresso was delicious and the sweetness was perfect. I also ordered an ube mochi and it was perfectly chewy and flavorful. The space is pretty bright with few tables. If this were closer to home, I'd probably come more often. Went back again and was able to see the full pastry selection. If you want a tasty sandwich or treat you better show up early! The service was great again and the ambiance is calm. Covour is still one of my favorite cafes in the South Bay! The long line out the door on a Sunday morning goes to show I'm not the only one feeling this way. Stopped in for a quick Matcha Einspanner and mochi muffin. Their drinks are served in a smaller cup, but does not lack in flavor! Absolutely delicious matcha, not too sweet. The mochi muffins are my fave, love that chewy and bouncy texture all while being gluten free. They do have a few other pastries and cookies, that I hope to try next time. Service was still pleasant and friendly, even with a long line. Noise level was louder than usual due to it being a full house. Most tables, seats and bar seating was taken. Came here for matcha and got my mom a flat white. I really enjoyed the matcha! I think it's made with oat milk. The matcha taste wasn't overpowering but strong enough to coat your entire mouth and linger a bit. The cream on top was light and delightful. An overall vegetal matcha with a very smooth and creamy consistency which I loved. Only thing is, it's such a small size! This spot has a tight parking lot but a good amount of spots. Interior is super clean and sleek. Fully packed when I came on a Wednesday around 1PM. read more

We got two drinks. A Iced Americano and Iced Honey Latte. Both were good. Great coffee flavor in both. Really amazing for a hot day. Parking lot in front but spaces are small. Inside was clean. This coffee shop has been on my list for a minute. The matcha einspanner hit the spot. Perfect sweetness, high quality matcha. I got it with almond milk. Also tried the butter mochi - interesting chewy texture as expected, mild sweetness. The butter was not overwhelming, the sesame sprinkle on top - an interesting touch. I'm not the biggest fan of sesame seeds but it was working. read more
Covour, where coffee meets flavor. This Asian fusion contemporary roaster tucked away in the sleepy part of Palo Alto delivers on the classics as well as incorporating flavors like mango lychee, ube, and matcha. The simple exterior hides away a minimalist and contemporary space that's great for enjoying a cup of coffee, working, or catching up with friends. White walls with a touch of natural wood and a few textures are there to break up the monotonousness. The parking situation is not it though; the lot is narrow, one way with few tiny parking spots. The drinks are smooth, rich, and flavorful. They use high quality matcha. Despite offering unique flavors, the actual coffee is simple and they let the natural flavors speak for themselves. That being said, you're definitely paying a premium for it. They offer pastries but they are outsourced from local bakeries. The staff is friendly and efficient. Despite the long lines, they move fast. Overall, while this is a welcomed addition to the neighborhood and a lovely spot, I'm not necessarily convinced the final product and experience justify the premium price. Bay Area locals are spoiled by an endless number of some of the best, most creative and flawlessly executed roasteries. While Covour may be able to get 5 stars somewhere else, given the competition at that price point, I can't really give them more than 4 stars. read more
