We arrived rather late in the day, so most of the items in their pastry case were sold out with the exception of several cookies. I had a lemon cookie that was soft and buttery, and tasted great with my iced chai latte. I loved checking out the various posters and adverts posted on the window in the front of the store. Kenton is such a bustling and creative neighborhood, and I always enjoy visiting when I can. This part of Portland has a very active arts scene with lots of creatives living in the area, as evidenced by workshop, open studio, and event adverts posted in the windows. I can't wait to come back earlier in the day next time to sample more delicious pastries.

They prepare light and fluffy vegan cinnamon roll bases that customers can customize with an assortment of toppings. The Explorer (chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, and graham) and the Lunchbox (strawberry sauce, peanut butter drizzle, and crushed Lay's potato chips) really stood out to me, so I ordered both to enjoy with my husband later that evening. I appreciate that the rolls aren't dense, overly moist, or too sweet. They are the perfect base for any assortment of toppings. And they're a great value, too, because I was able to enjoy two nights of dessert from a single roll.
