This new thing of 711 closing at night to clean??! Cleaning never used to be an issue. They are slow very slow for several hours during the night so why lock up ..., 711 used to be reliable. Came by before work which I tend to do. Usually a nice younger guy working the late shift 3:00am. I came in today Saturday 3:00am and wanted coffee before work. 4 coffees were out out for customers.. I start poring and all of them were cold. I asked the guy would he be make more. He gave me a flat out no. (Rudely by the way). I left the cup on the coffee and he asked we as I'm walking out " where did you leave your cup?" I told him where the coffee cups should go when you get coffee. 10/24/22 @10:30. The cashier who work in the morning it's horrible. I've been coming here for more than a year now. He's always talking on the phone while helping customers. There were few times that I have to wait more 5 minutes to get help because he is always in the back room. He'll never acknowledged customers and that is so freaking sad. read more

I come here often to use the ATM, since it's the closest Citibank ATM to my house. Once in a while I'll get a soda or a snack but I've never had a decent experience here. Just last night I went for a soda and an apple fritter. Well the soda was completely flat and when I mentioned it to the worker, he laughed and did nothing about it. When I got home and took a bite out of the apple fritter, the middle was mushy and very dark in color. Being the fatass that I am, I still ate it. Paid for it the whole night and through to the next afternoon (today) with stomach pains. I could go on with past negative experiences at this location but I won't. On a sunny day, cool night and sometimes even in the early a.m. hours my feet always lead me here. This is definitely a convenience store and with convenience it's always open and never full. Sometimes you may run into a line of five to six people but it's never long enough to waste more than five minutes of your day for being here whether it be spontaneously or routinely before or after work. The employees are polite and always smile. The setting of this seven eleven will change throughout a twenty four hour day though. As the sun turns the city on you'll get the sleepwalkers, the bread and bagel trucks but no riff raff. Midday, students, parents and people who just want their work day to end. Nighttime, you'll find the leisure folk who come on foot or drive then past the midnight hours like night of the living dead comes the cocktail of people all with a different purpose lethargically there for their quick fix to satisfy their demanding appetites. You'll find available to buy, jerky, alcohol, marshmallows, charcoal, sandwiches, hotdogs, lottery tickets and scratchers, sanitary napkins, and cat food all in this one store. But if your short on currency there is an automated teller machine to facilitate your transition if you wanna pay with paper. Prices are typical for a seven eleven but the food does please my palate. The parking is minimal but the customers never stay long enough to really be without a parking spot plus this place sells anime dvd's inside and has got a rebox outside, so it is becoming the one stop random shop. I never go here ever...I made an exception to go here and buy milk for my Kona coffee that I just brought back from Hawaii. I had a sample and was dying to try it. I made my coffee the next morning..and opened the newly purchased milk from this 711..poured it into my fresh, once in a lifetime sample from Hawaii...guess what ?? The Damn Milk was spoiled...ruined the coffee!!! I looked at the date and it expired the same day I bought it. I marched my butt to the store and said "This is spoiled can I get a new milk" thinking I was going to be treated like a valued customer..NOPE! I was treated as a thieving low life. The cashier said "were is your receipt?" "prove you bought it here." I'm like this is your milk you sell it here I live right there, I bought it last night, its on your register and I'm on your camera...NOPE! Could NOT exchange my milk that was a whole $1.79. Holly Cow what a huge deal. She said I would have to talk to the manager to get my $1.79 milk replaced. R U fricken kidding me? I told the cashier to call the manager and tell her to let me replace the milk...she looked like she was calling and said the manager isn't answering her phone. (I shouldn't have had to tell her that, she should have just done it, but once again I'm not a valued customer and never have been.) I would have to wait until tomorrow....I wanted coffee today. I wasn't about to buy another carton of their milk, it is obviously not cared for properly, plus I'm not giving them a penny. Ok, so I called corporate, and went on line to file a formal complaint. Today I went into this store purposely looking for Flaming Hot Asteroids. I usually buy them from ampm (right next door) but they said they're delivery for that item did not come in this week. So when I walked over to this 7-eleven, I was surprised to find so many packets of Flaming Hot Asteroids! But this was obviously way too good to be true because I went to the register to pay, they were charging me $3.99 FOR EACH when they are only $1.19 each. That's almost 4 times their actual price. I told the man that worked there, "Why are you charging so much when they clearly say $1.19 on the bag? Ampm sells them at $1.19 as well" First he said, "They charge more for them online", then he says, "I don't know, they priced it higher now". WTF?! This is not amazon? In store, when something is priced and on the actual item, you cannot sell them at a different price? That's total false advertising. I never make a big deal about cheetos, that's just rediculous, right? But to be scammed and cheated is just wrong. I'm not an idiot. I told him, "Well fuck that. This 711 store is always well stocked and they have great customer service and super nice manager..

I go to this 7-Eleven all the time. When this store changed ownership and the staff changed over I was bummed. I didnt like all the new people the owner brought in. I especially missed Carlos. He was really nice and worked very hard to take care of customers. So I was very pleased to see Carlos back working there recently and all the employees I didnt like are now gone. When I go in- I usually see the people there cleaning and attending to the coffee. The staff is very friendly and so is the new owner. I usually go there to get a sandwich for lunch. Ham Turkey Bacon Club is the best one to get. I'm not a big hotdog fan but I like the taquitos off the grill. The jalapeno cream cheese is the best, steak and cheese is very good also. I recently tried a cheeseburger off the grill- the rolling burger meat tube didnt look very appealing on the grill but surprisingly enough it was one of the better burgers I've had. I like to top it off with ketchup and diced onions. Sometimes I use the hot chili dispenser to make a chili burger, messy but good. A gripe I do have is that occasionally a customer will hold up the cashier while slowly picking out lottery tickets but usually its quick to get in and out. Out of all the 7-Elevens I've been to I like this one the best so it gets 5 stars. One last thing- if you get a donut try the plain cake- its not overly sugary like the rest of the donuts. Its moist with just the right buttery sweetness- goes very well with my morning coffee. read more
