    Apple pie matcha (seasonal)
    Chloe M.

Staff is always very warm and kind, even at the busiest of hours. I've been a couple times and have had to wait about 25 minutes (due to the business going viral on social media) but that does not change my rating, the wait is very much worth it. The wait time after you order your food is not long at all, it's just what one would prefer. My go to is the breakfast birria burrito, the birria is cooked to perfection. Their seasonal apple pie matcha was the best thing I've ever had, I can't wait for its return. But the regular matcha is great too.

Had lunch here based on a recommendation from my son. It's a popular spot, so we had to wait in line for a table even on a weekday. Good news is that the line moved steadily and we had our food in about 15 minutes. We both had the Birria Burrito, which was excellent, along with some tater tots. Seating was upscale casual. Service was friendly. Overall, I enjoyed it and will likely be back.

This is such a cute and chic breakfast spot that feels upscale as if you're in some fancy city. Decor is very soothing and modern, including the bathroom. There is indoor and outside covered seating. I tried the protein bowl and it was delicious and filling. It can get quite busy even on a weekday. Free parking is available in a plaza. Food comes out quickly and the waiters are responsive and nice.

Fried mortadella & apple pie matcha (seasonal)
    Lindsay C.

There is one thing that keeps bringing me back to this place and it's the fried mortadella sandwich! The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich are also pretty good but be sure to get the spicy house aioli on the side if you have littles. The drinks while beautiful but I find are all very mid. The iced mont blanc and apple matcha latte (seasonal) were all very mild tasting drinks. Personally not sweet enough for me nor where there any contrasting flavors shining in the drinks. I added a bit more sweetner but it didn't work for me. Get in line and order and pay and they bring your food out to you. The interior is a beautiful European style cafe but very few seats inside. There is plenty of outdoor seating and best of all opens at 7am. If you have littles you know they are up early. I was chatting with many other parents with kids at 8am. Great brunch spot just with the drinks were a little better.

Pricey...but delicious! We came on a Monday morning (three day weekend) at 10AM. There was a line outside, but luckily a two-person opening, so we only waited 10 minutes or so. The inside is clean and modern, but also bustling. I saw someone with a laptop, but I'd definitely say that this restaurant is more sit down then leave, rather than a cafe to do work at. You order first at the kiosk, then they'll bring your food to your table. We got the birria breakfast burrito, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, iced vienna latte, and hot vanilla latte. The service was pretty fast after we ordered, and there's also various different hot sauces at the sauce bar. Even though I'm not the biggest coffee person, I'll admit - the lattes were smooth, creamy, and flavorful. The real stars of the show, for me though, were the breakfast items! Firstly, for the sandwich, the eggs were cooked to perfection - soft and jammy, practically pillowy inside. And the caramelized onions were an AMAZING addition, literally elevating a regular breakfast sandwich. The burrito was also delicious. The birria was so tender and well seasoned, and the tots inside were coated in gooey cheese and sauce. An ideal breakfast bite! I honestly don't go out to too many breakfast spots in San Jose, but I would come back for the sandwich and burrito! Still on the pricier end, but a good breakfast treat every now and then :)

    Nutella french toast, birria burrito
    Angel N.

Visited Morning Lobby Cafe and ordered the raspberry matcha, Vienna latte, birria burrito, and Nutella French toast. The total was almost $50. The drinks were really cute and aesthetically pleasing. Had 2 customers ask what drinks I ordered while waiting for my food. However, taste was just okay. They were enjoyable enough, but nothing stood out or made me want to order them again. The birria burrito came with two different sauces, which was a nice touch. I'm a little on the fence about this dish because it was good overall, but the flavors felt pretty mild. Even after trying both sauces, I still felt like it was missing something. The Nutella French toast was tasty, but it's a fairly simple dish that's hard to get wrong. It satisfied my sweet tooth, but it wasn't particularly memorable. The highlight of the visit was definitely the service. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The ordering process was easy. They have paper menus you can browse while in line. You order at the counter, get handled a table number, and sit wherever you'd like, and they bring the food out to you. Will hand food to you for to go as well. There's a small, comfy seating area if you're waiting for to go orders. There is plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor seating as well. Overall, Morning Lobby Cafe is a cute spot with a nice atmosphere, especially for a girls' brunch, coffee date, or casual catch-up with friends. While I enjoyed the experience, the food and drinks didn't quite live up to the price for me. I'd come back if friends wanted to go, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return.

    Ricotta scramble
    Vivian H.

I went here with a friend and was pleasantly surprised that there is new aesthetic brunchy spot in south sj, especially in this plaza! It took over yogurtland in the corner spot, which is honestly pretty good considering the line that wraps around it anyways we got there Labor Day around 930 and we waited about 40 minutes to get a table. Decor inside was pretty cute, with muted colors and wooden accents. We ordered up front at the cashier first, they gave us a number and and we were able to sit at the high top table inside, but facing the outside patio. Our food came out relatively fast! For drinks, we got orange juice and a hot matcha latte with a cream top. They were both fantastic For our food, we shared the ricotta scramble, birria breakfast burrito, and a breakfast sandwich. Ricotta scramble on toast was light and fluffy, but needed a little something extra. I use the hot sauce they had on hand (I loved it so much, I went to the store and bought it!) The birria burrito was definitely a fave of ours! the sauces they included was an amazing pairing and the seasoned meat was perfect. the breakfast sandwich was also really good and I loved how cheesy and flavorful the eggs were. I definitely will come by again to try the rest of their offerings!

    Birria breakfast burrito

I've been meaning to try this place and today was finally the day. When I arrived there was a line going out the door with around 4 parties ahead of me but it surprising moved really quickly. I ordered a vanilla bean latte and felt it was slightly above average but nonetheless it was good. This place is definitely super busy but the woman managing the dining room and seating seemed to be on top of it and I say this because they were originally going to seat me at the bar ( which looked sort of sad because its in the corner, a little too close to where food is being prepared, there were a lot of dishes and stuff crowding the surface nearing where you eat). Thankfully something worked out and I was able to sit at a table and they were able to move someone who wanted to dine outside to a table there. Food: The kitchen seems to run efficiently and the food comes out relatively quickly. I ordered the Birria breakfast burrito and removed avocado. Inside of it was egg, some pretty crispy hash browns, and Birria meat. If there was cheese in it I couldn't tell. While I liked the flavor of the meat I felt like the flavor of everything else in it was just lacking a bit. Presentation and ambiance : The ambiance once you step inside is pretty nice and it looks super clean inside. They put fresh flowers on each table which is pretty cute. One thing I was not a fan of was the sauces being served in plastic containers it just seems a bit off for a place that's so aesthetic and trendy. However, giving two choices for sauce is refreshing and I leaned towards liked the orange one a bit more. Portions: The coffee and the burrito was enough for me to leave filling the right amount of full but I can definitely see how this would not be nearly enough food for someone else. The burrito also looked pretty thin when it came out. Pricing: Seems a bit steep with a coffee and burrito costing me 30. I fear that it might just be due the economy. I guess the pricing seems sort of necessary to keep a restaurant afloat but something about it still feels off. Overall, I don't know if I'd return solely for the food but they do have a great vibe and something that feels pretty unique going on here.

    Birria Bowl
    Lynn N.

I came here with a friend for lunch, and we had a great time! I actually tried calling the restaurant (four times HAHA) on our way to ask if they still had the Birria Breakfast Burrito, but they did not pick up their phone. Thankfully, they were still serving the breakfast burritos when we came at 1! Inside is beautiful with indoor and outdoor seating. They have comfy chairs and a shaded area, all marble themed. You order at the front and grab a number, where you then find a place to sit. I got the Birria Breakfast Burrito and my friend got the Birria Bowl. The Birria Breakfast Burrito was great! The meat was tender and had good flavor. The eggs were soft, and I liked how it all paired with the green sauce. The Birria Bowl also was good with lots of variety and textures. We also got a matcha latte, and my friend said that the matcha flavor was strong. Overall, we had a great time, and I would recommend!

Solid breakfast burrito spot! Came on a Sunday around 10 and there was a small line ~15 min wait. Staff are friendly! Believe it's family owned which is awesome. Burrito was yummy and love that it came with tasty sauces. Would say the burritos are enough for one person but you can share if you're not super hungry. Didn't try any of the drinks but they looked good. Saw a lot of people get the avocado toast which I might try next time. Curious what the rest of the menu is like. Oh and it's self serve seating after you order and pay. Will be back!

Chicken Caesar Wrap, Birria Breakfast Burrito
    Neha B.

This place has been on my radar for a minute. Their birria breakfast burrito was great, lots of flavor with the spicy chipotle and cilantro sauce. The chicken caesar wrap was chopped and creamy, with a nice crunch from croutons inside. The drinks have a fire presentation, the iced Vienna tasted like a tiramisu dessert with the cream top. I would not get the raspberry matcha again, the flavor was so pungent and overpowering and just hard that artificial sweet taste. Unfortunately they don't have their lemon poppyseed matcha anymore, hopefully they bring it back.

never heard of this place before but happened to be in the area waiting for something else w time to kill so I popped by line wasn't too bad when I got there around 10 - maybe 15 people deep - but by 1015 there were like 30 people in line iced vienna latte - 9/10 pretty good, cream was nice & fluffy & I got scared my lactose intolerance would kick in (I got the drink part with oat milk) but I ended up okay birria burrito - 10/10 cute packaging but maybe 7/10 for the food itself - really yummy but also smol :( took less than 10min to get my food after I ordered (don't know if this was bc I did to-go) even tho the place was packed so that was nice tip: if you're ordering to-go you don't need to wait in line LOL I did not know this so I waited in the whole heccin' line

Tried this brunch cafe over the weekend and had a really nice experience overall. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience was great -- especially the outdoor seating area, which made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was good too. My only small feedback would be that I'd prefer the bread slices on the toast to be slightly thicker, since they were a bit chewy for my taste. The Vienna latte is definitely worth trying! The cream was a little too sweet for me personally, and the cream-to-coffee ratio leaned a bit heavy on the cream, but it was still delicious and unique. They have a shared parking lot.

They had some Fanime specials for the con (katsu and egg salad sandwiches, spam musubi), seasonal drinks, of course coffees and teas, and non caffeinated drinks, as well as some food too (heated up pastries, both sweet and savory). There's a restroom with a code and a couple seats and tables with outlets to charge your devices. Service was welcoming and efficient especially after the crowds started to pick up. I got the: 1) Egg Salad Sando: -You can tell these were handmade in store. They had cute washi tape to hold the packaging together. -Solid egg salad sandwich. Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. I ended up pouring most of it in a water bottle to enjoy later and put in my bag. But ended up not finishing it in the end. Maybe next year I'll try again or just stick to the food stuffs.

The bread was soft and fresh, and everything inside tasted balanced rather than heavy or greasy. It's simple food, but done properly, which makes a big difference. Coffee was also better than I expected and worked well with the sandwich. The staff were friendly and easygoing, and even though it was fairly busy, the wait wasn't long. Overall, it's just a nice, low-key place for a casual bite. Nothing overly fancy, but definitely somewhere I'd go back to when I'm in the mood for a good sandwich and a relaxed atmosphere.

This is one of the breakfast places in Downtown San Jose that you do NOT want to miss!…read more I stumbled upon this place after the Yelp app recommended me to try -- so you know I had to give it a try. Upon entering, I loved how spacious the place was, especially with the variety of foods they had: egg sandwiches, matcha lattes, coffee, and lots more. I was fortunate enough to try their egg drop in a jar alongside bacon and cheese, and their matcha latte. Both were very delicious and had a very natural taste to them :) They had self-order kiosks but at the same time, their hospitality and customer service was on par. They were very accommodating with regards to dietary restrictions (especially when it came to the milk selections for lattes, matcha was no different). I will definitely be coming back to this place to try more! (Hint hint: I may also try their other location as well -- that to.be saved for another time)

We initially sat at a table but asked to move to a booth due to baby and me comfort and they were super kind about it. Thank you for elevating the experience.... I ordered the loco moco and I'm so glad I did. Everything on the plate was deeelicious, kimchee is good for you, the meat patty was medium cooked as I asked and the eggs were scrambled super soft as I asked! My man got the low carb, and we expected the ingredients to all be separate but it comes in as a scramble. No biggie though. Was tempted to try the latte flight! That's interesting right? But couldn't justify all that sugar so did the nitro cold brew and it was very enjoyable:) Would def come back again for the same course of action.

Hey there party People…read more Decided to venture into Willow Glen today on the hunt for something new to try. Boy howdy did we hit the Mother Load with "The Table". We hit the Brunch hour and the place was rocking. We were able to sit right down amazingly. There is a fabulous patio to people watch and enjoy the California weather. Our server Charles was really great. He walked us through the menu giving us the 911 on watch to order. Most of the plates were perfect shareable bites. Making it easy to try multiple plates and really get your inner Foodie on. We started with the Seasonal Banana Pancakes with crushed walnuts and cinnamon maple syrup. Inside the pancakes were fresh bananas and the walnuts were crushed very small but added a great texture. Moving on to the Chicago Steak sandwich don't get confused but in Chicago they refer to Roast Beef as steak. The Au Jus dip was very flavorful without being a salt bomb. Loved the potato roll they used all round a killer sandwich. Going a little outside the box we tried the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The pineapple slaw with this amazing peppery chutney type sauce played so well with the acid of the pineapple. Another must have sandwich. I ask you how can you go to a new restaurant and not have some dessert. With everything else being so good our expectations were pretty high and we were not disappointed. The Giant Profiterole is exactly that GIANT and stuffed with White Chocolate Gelato and Hot Chocolate Sauce that you can drizzle over the top. To fricken die for good. If you are in Willow Glen and you don't stop here you are missing out on something wonderful. Be kind to one another

When we were seated, we were given a list of items that were not available. I originally wanted to try the pancakes but ended up ordering the chicken sandwich instead. This was genuinely one of the worst chicken sandwiches I have ever had. It was extremely gristly, fatty, and made with dark meat, which felt like an odd choice for a chicken sandwich. I'm not sure why this cut of chicken was used. The fries were alright, but they did not come with the sandwich and cost an additional $5. Our total came to almost $90 for three entrees with no beverages. I was especially frustrated because my sandwich was inedible. For the price and quality, I will not be returning and would not recommend this place.
