I love the unique specialty coffee/matcha menu, and all of the fun toasts and acai bowl options! I got the strawberry collagen coffee and the mushroom toast, and it was pretty good. No notes for the mushroom toast, and the strawberry flavoring of the coffee was super tasty. Espresso was a tad bitter but the strawberry helped a lot. I would definitely come back here and recommend it! I will note though that at the time we went it was pretty busy and it took a while to get our orders and there wasn't a lot of seats available. Second time back and this time I brought my friends since I kept raving about Stardust to them! - Service: they were EXTREMELY BUSY but were quick on their feet and very nice. Wanted to chill at a café in San Jose and found this place near SCU. Parking was pretty convenient. This cafe is below an apartment or condo complex. When I came in, they were pretty busy. There were only 2 people working behind the counter so I had to use the self serve. I think it was the lunch rush so just take note of that. I ordered the passionate mango matcha and house Margherita pizza. The drink was actually petty good and not overly sweet at all. The pizza was a good size, I couldn't even finish it. I also appreciated that the sauce was on the side instead of it being on the pizza itself. All in all this cafe is a good place to visit. They have a good selection for drinks and food. You order on a kiosk, pick a number, and take it to your table where they then deliver your order (if you're eating in.) I went on a Monday because there is limited seating and can get quite crowded on the weekends. I ordered the "Radiance Bowl" with 5 toppings of your choice. Really good. The avo toast here is my favorite. The drinks are innovative and fun and while they're matcha isn't the best, it's really fun to try all the different flavorings. My biggest annoyance is when I ordered "for here", they still call me up for to-go. I don't understand the inconsistency, but it's annoying b/c I feel like it's wasteful from an environmental perspective to give me a to-go box when I clearly stated I'm dining-in. Really solid cafe experience. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon, and it wasn't super busy, so there was a fair amount of seating available. There was also a good amount of parking at a nearby parking lot. This is a great place to work: the ambiance is peaceful and quiet. I saw several other tables of people in deep concentration and working. I really appreciated how much natural light there was in the cafe. To order, there's a kiosk, so there's not much employee interaction. However, when I did chat with the employees, they were super friendly. I tried the ham and egg bagel, and I was impressed! It was definitely pricey for a bagel, but I really enjoyed the flavors. The egg was slightly runny, my preferred egg style! The ham was soft and salty. OMG MY NEW FAVORITE PLACE FOR A BANANA MATCHA LATTE. This one has officially moved to the top of my list. Was in the area so we just walked over not knowing what they have and there it was on the menu. It was 5pm on a weeknight, but I couldn't resist and so glad I didn't. We ordered on the kiosk and then went to sit on the patio. The baristas really take their time making the drinks and they bring it to your table. So be patient. Great service! On to the drinks, my partner and I both ordered banana lattes but he opted for coffee. The fresh muddled banana at the bottom of the cup really makes the whole drink. You guys! Ok so I was prepared to dislike this place bc of the wait, but I'm a full blown stardust lover now!!! I came on a Saturday afternoon around 12:15 and the place was packed, but no one in line. You order at the two tablets in the front and there is also counter ordering I think. There was only one barista and she was worrrkinggg , there were sooo many tickets coming out of the machine I was really worried my order would get lost in the shuffle, but they somehow do a good job of keeping track of old to new orders. My total wait was about 20 minutes, which I was expecting a lot worse. The banana bloom latte is INCREDIBLE!!!! Such a good about of muddled banana and flavor of banana while you drink the whole drink, it's like mixed in nicely w the coffee. I think this may be my fav banana drink. I also got the avocado toast which was just as incredible as the coffee. I love the jam on it and it's loaded w toppings on a nice big piece of slightly toasted sourdough! The barista makes drinks fresh to order so that it is not watered down. The pandan mung bean puree has a toasty nuttiness, which you can taste upon the first couple sips. It's hard to find a cafe that has strawberry hojicha that's somewhat nearby. When i saw that this place had strawberry hojicha, I had to try it. We ordered to go since we were in the area and didn't pick it up until a couple of minutes after placing the order, so it wasn't sitting for too long. At first glance, it seemed like it had a lot of hojicha and not a lot of strawberry puree in it. To get the full experience, I tried it with whole milk to get that creamy/silky texture. However, the first sip felt so watered down. I mixed everything up and still it tasted watered down, barely any hojicha, and some strawberry bits. It wasn't my favorite hojicha drink I've had. I prefer a more roasted, chocolately, creamy hojicha. As for my boyfriend, he got the açai bowl with Ube, guava, and passionfruit base. The Ube was creamy, however the other two were very icy. The passionfruit did not have a passionfruit flavor. The presentation was nice and they do give a lot. Personally, we would try this cafe again but we won't go out our way to do so. read more

A cute cafe with plenty of space inside and lots of chairs. There is an indoor covered garage parking but it can be a bit confusing and easy to miss! We're not big coffee fans but they have a lot of drink options. We got the strawberry yuzu refresher, mushroom toast, and salami bagel. You order at a kiosk, grab a table number and seat yourself, then they bring your orders to the table. It's minimal service since you grab water, napkins, utensils yourself! Service was really spotty inside, but they have free guest wifi available. I saw a couple people on their laptops, but keep in mind there weren't visible outlets. Mushroom toast: this was seriously so delicious, and as someone who doesn't normally love mushrooms, this blew my mind! The bread is crispy on the outside yet chewy on the inside, and the mushrooms are chewier and super flavorful. The toast was packed with umami and had a slight kick due to the sauce. You can customize/remove ingredients as you need. Salami bagel: this was so good as well, lots of ingredients and a spicy sauce on the inside made this bagel really come together with a bunch of flavor. Bagel sandwiches can typically be pretty dry, but this was really good! Perfectly toasted everything bagel as well. Strawberry yuzu refresher: this really missed the mark for us. The drink was as expected - refreshing and sweet. However the biggest downside was the quantity of ice in the drink. I'm used to having drinks that are half ice, but ours seriously had over 3/4 of the cup full of ice! See photos for reference. This was pretty disappointing as we felt there wasn't much drink in the cup, just lots of ice. There wasn't an option to customize ice level at the order kiosk (and they only take order and payment through kiosk) so perhaps you need to physically go up to them after placing your order to ask for less ice .. maybe we were a one-off, but hopefully they don't fill all orders like this read more

We wanted to checkout a new cafe that has some health food options and a nice interior. This place checked all those boxes when we looked it up online. When we got there, we noticed it also was functioning as a work cafe, lots of people on their laptops working. Nothing wrong with that, the Bay Area doesn't have enough of those cafes! But these people took up a lot of tables as single people. We ended up sitting outside in the draft (dark) hallway outside. The food is pricey but tasty! Because of the mistake, I had to wait for a refund on the incorrect items, place my order again, and then wait for the croissants to be warmed up. A simple breakfast order should not take this much time to resolve. The issue could have been avoided if more attention had been paid when taking the order. I added peanut butter to mine and I was baffled at the qualify of each ingredient (even the peanut butter). Almost every sandwich has an option to make it vegan with vegan meat, which I think is extremely helpful. Although I didn't get any drinks during my initial visit, my friend got a passion fruit mango matcha and said it was really good. The menu has so many great choices from food to a variety of signature drinks like matcha, coffee, and even Chaga. The staff were all really friendly and on top of everything, which made the experience even better. I got the turkey avocado bagel, and it was so good! The bagel was super soft (not sure if they make them in-house, but it sure tasted fresh), and the turkey was high-quality and flavorful. Their espresso was rich and smooth.
