Ken's Coffee Bar operates out of a super cute, tiny cafe truck setup. They have plenty of seating outside, a really nice outdoor decor, and a pretty unique menu of lattes. The staff was also super polite and welcoming. That said, the drinks were a bit of a mixed bag. I ordered the orange cardamom latte for myself and a pistachio latte for my husband. The orange cardamom latte was honestly pretty underwhelming. Instead of a bright, zesty citrus note, it came across as purely linear and sour. Mix that sourness with whole milk, and it just didn't taste right or appetizing at all, and the cardamom was way too subtle to save it. On the other hand, the pistachio latte was actually really delicious. The only catch? It didn't taste like pistachio at all. It was very vanilla-forward instead. So while it was a great cup of coffee, missing the actual featured flavor was a bit of a letdown. Great vibe, sweet staff, and nice outdoor seating, but the specialty flavors could definitely use some tweaking. read more

I was disappointed with my experience. The café only offered two milk options--whole milk and oat milk--which felt quite limited compared to most coffee shops. I ordered the Cookie Butter Latte, but it lacked the sweetness and flavor I expected. The espresso itself was also surprisingly weak; the double shot had very little coffee taste. When I mentioned it, I was offered an additional shot for an extra $2. While I didn't mind paying for it, the drink still fell short and remained underwhelming. For our Cardamom drink, we added Peach cold foam for an extra $1.25 but there seemed to be no foam when served. The space itself is cute and inviting, but if you're looking for a flavorful, well-crafted coffee or a reliable caffeine fix, this probably isn't the place I'd recommend. read more

Cute, little hidden gem across from Leland high school! Kenz Coffee Bar is a Coffee Airstream that serves classic and unique espresso drinks around the Los Gatos area. They do not have any dedicated parking and you will need to rely on street parking, but from the times I have been there, it has been pretty fruitful. When walking towards the reserved area, you are greeted with very mystical decor, with hanging fake wisterias, and decorated in floral. The menu has a good amount of items to try from, and they do have seasonal drinks. When I asked the last time, they did mention they stock their pastries from Manresa (if you are a fan, you might want to order a thing or two!) The service is very friendly, and I waited max only 10 minutes for my drink. Despite it being completely outdoor, there is ample seating, and while I might not recommend it for studying or working from home, this is a cute spot to catch up with friends or even read a book outdoors. The last few times I went, I got a lavender latte (and it did not blow my mind nor differed from other places), but despite that, it still fulfilled a need. I also have ordered a seasonal orange cardamom latte (only comes iced), which had subtle floral notes and a mild citrus flavor. It was delicious. I wish it came hot, but that is just preference. A great local spot! I will continue to come back if I am in the area. read more

New neighborhood coffee joint. Super cute mini truck serving unique flavors of coffee. Plenty of seating area for everyone with couches, benches etc. Came here to try out a new place and very glad we did because the service was top notch and tons of options. I noticed that the traffic was flowing very smoothly.. many people came and went - some sat down, some did to go but there were always people coming and going. I visited Kenz Coffee Bar on the MLK holiday after checking YELP, which listed their hours as open until 4 p.m. Since I live nearby and had been wanting to try the place for some time, I took a walk over for my first visit at noon. When I arrived, I noticed a few people enjoying coffee in the outdoor lounge, but the service station itself appeared closed. I assumed they might be on a lunch break, especially since I could hear activity coming from the camper. I walked around and said a simple "hello," hoping to ask whether they would be reopening later. Instead, an employee responded from out of sight, reprimanding me and stating that I was in an employee-only area--even though I had not entered any restricted space. When I asked about their hours, they told me they closed at 1 p.m. It was 12:51 p.m. at the time. What stood out most was the lack of courtesy or basic customer service. There was no friendly acknowledgment, no apology for the early closure, and no invitation to return another time. The interaction felt unnecessarily abrupt and off-putting, and unfortunately it soured my desire to come back. read more

The vibes are impeccable. I usually come in to work remotely for a few hours and they have a bench that is always shaded even when it's hot out. The drinks - current favorite is the lavender latte with earl grey cold foam. I also LOVE their pastries, and I've tried them all I think. They get pastries from Manresa I think? The cookies, spinach one, and croissants are delicious. I parked in the neighborhood bc I wasn't too sure if the parking lot was theirs or the building next door. I decided to try one of their seasonal drinks which was a hazelnut latte. Super cute! I had the day off so I decided to check out a new coffee spot. This was 5 min from my house so I went there. It was a Wednesday morning so there was plenty of street parking and no lines. It's a cute little set up behind a business with lots of seating. I ordered an iced sweet honey latte, which was delicious (I actually wish there was a larger size!) and a spinach artichoke escargot, which was also very tasty and a little spicy. A sweet, unique cafe run out of a shiny trailer next to a nonprofit recreational center for kids, with the most delicious flavored lattes, like rose, saffron, and pistachio, and solid coffee, that also unapologetically stands for freedom for Palestine... could not be happier to find and support this gem in an otherwise everyday suburban South Bay neighborhood. Kenz roasts their own beans, they are top-notch, and we've easily rotated them into our morning home coffee-making routine. On days where I have a little more space in my schedule, I love choosing Kenz as a spot to chill with loved ones on the cute little patio alongside the rec center building next door. This winter, they put up a clear dome tent as an option to stay warm from the weather as you sip your drinks. During the summer, the open-air seating is calm and refreshing. They are very community-oriented, partnering with other small businesses recently to put on a little market fair that I'm sad to have missed. So glad that this cafe is around. I am head over heels in love with this little spot right now. The saddest part is that I don't live near it!! This is going to be a staple every time we're in the area in the future. The service was great. The staff was very knowledgeable, and the entire atmosphere of this little corner was just so pleasant. I did not want to leave. We ordered the lavender latte, and the sweet honey, and both were absolutely delicious. The lavender was very true to its flavor, I have zero complaints! The sweet honey latte was just a perfect balance of sweet and espresso. We also ordered a plain shot of espresso on the side because I'm a fanatic and I like to taste the flavor of the beans. I wanted to purchase a bag of their whole beans but alas they were out of the dark roast. I'll have to come back in search of a bag at another time. We had the banana nut loaf as well and it was very fluffy and paired well with the espresso shot. Now. The empanada. Dear baby Jesus. It was so flavorful and literally one of the best empanadas that I've ever had. It's also halal!! It was a litto cold in the middle so I would ask the staff to cook it a little longer when ordering! This is a really cute neighborhood coffee shop. I went here by myself on a Friday morning the other week since I was in the area. The coffee shop itself is an Airstream and it has a little grassy area with string lights and a decent amount of seating and benches. It'd be a nice place to hang out with a friend for a bit, though I don't think there's a restroom. I ordered an iced rose latte with oat milk and an iced matcha + chicken empanada for my husband to go. I will say that everything took a bit longer than expected given there was only like one other customer there. This place comes alive on the weekends and the shiny little coffee truck adds to its overall cozy ambience. Hibiscus drink, and El Salvador pour over are two of my faves here. Came here with an old high school classmate to catch up, there's plenty of parking in the parking lot adjacent to the coffee bar & on the residential street. The interior (exterior?) decoration is really cozy and well decorated, it offers up the chance to soak up the sun while sipping on one of their coffees. However, the views are less than stunning considering it is next to a suburban jungle. My drink was also veering dangerously close to being $8. The menu does not offer prices on the drinks or oat milk substitutions, so I can only assume they charge for switching to milk that doesn't make my digestive system rearrange itself. I ordered the iced rose chai latte with oat milk, there were rose petals on top and some form of rose syrup infused in the beverage! It was good, but a little too sweet for my liking. Maybe next time I'd prefer the vanilla latte or their pistachio latte. We sat until the employees were closing up shop and covering the seats with tarp (around 1:30 PM). read more

I simply love their coffee! I discovered this location by chance as I was in the neighborhood and was looking for a coffee shop close by and I have been going ever since. I always get a latte with oat milk but during the fall I order their PSL with oat milk, it's so delicious! They have plenty of seating and it's all outdoors. A great spot to enjoy your brew while working or getting school work done. They also offer pastries if you want a snack with your coffee. This is a small coffee shop so the wait for your drink may take a bit longer if they're busy but it's worth the wait! I recommend their business! read more

Quite possibly my favorite coffee place in South Bay! I am obsessed with this place, the ambiance is so cozy, romantic, chill, Parisian, European vibes. The coffee "shop" is what looks like a steam RV which is decorated so cute. I love the music that plays here. It literally takes you somewhere in Europe. With Fall and Winter approaching I can see how this is going to be a perfect spot to hang. They even have a fire pit! Note: there's no restroom. I ordered honey lavender oat milk latte and it was perfection. The Barista is so nice and zen honestly and makes a very calm environment where you just want to hang. Also love their banana bread which is loaded with nuts and chocolate and a really good size. Couldn't recommend this place enough. read more

Simple and quick review. Love the ambiance and cute decor with this outdoor patio area with the coffee bar. Two parties before us. The beverages were good. I waited for 30 minutes for my two drinks and thought it was just a "let's chill and talk" type of ordeal while we wait for our coffee. Not that I was in a rush, but my friend saw the ladies dancing in the coffee truck. Overall the two people working forgot my order and apologized when I told them I've been waiting, which I appreciated, but no sense of urgency or attention to details/customers. When they apologized, I honestly was like ok, but then they asked which one was with oat milk out loud and when I received my order it was incorrect. I guess I could've let them know, but I had already waited 30+ mins for the first drink. I wanted a hot beverage and received a cold one. I've been in the coffee industry for 15 years... mistakes happen, but for me, there are ways to figure out a customers order by looking it up on your iPad/register. As a barista, I remember people and their drink orders. Maybe I'm just being hyper critical. Sorry won't be back. read more
