I am going to as many Starbucks as I can in South San Jose and this one did not dissapoint! I got a Vanilla Iced shaken espresso w/ oatmilk and a bacon, gouda, egg sandwich to go with it. I thought that this was a fairly good meal for me. Not too oily and not to heavy for the sandwich I would definitely get this again, espresso and sandwich combo are my go to @ Sbux! Hit the spot! I usually go here for bite sized hot breakfast (not very filling, but good enough) and of course, can't do without coffee, so I get a mocha as well. I noticed they had a new healthy option in the menu, kale & mushroom egg bites, that's what I'm trying next. The staff is very friendly. It gets pretty busy in the morning and afternoons, I go between 10 and 11. I also like this particular location cuz it's right by a small park, so you can grab your Coffee and just relax with your dog or kids by the park. Five stars for service that is par excellence. I came here on a Tuesday at 1:45pm and this store was COVID prepared. Unfortunately, This location is allowing only 1 customer in the store at a time. Fortunately, for me there was no line and I was in and out easy-peazy. As soon as you walk in the door you have to stop where you are and take your order. There is no lobby or waiting area - only a 6x3 rectangle for you to place your order then head outside and wait under their cozy green umbrella from the rain. Service was fast and friendly; drinks were hot and tasted consistently well. I've been going to this location the past two years and this is my first time to review; This location has always provided a five-star service with five-star food and drinks; before and during the COVID days. Dear Manager, I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service and facilities at your Starbucks location on Curtner & Monterey 175 Curtner ave, san jose ca 95125. During my recent visit this morning 03/22/24, I encountered multiple issues that significantly tarnished my experience. Firstly, I ordered a coffee, with extra shot of espresso expecting the quality and consistency that Starbucks is renowned for. However, upon receiving my drink, it was evident that it was not prepared to the standard I have come to expect. no extra espresso, The taste was off, and it lacked the usual richness and flavor that I associate with Starbucks coffee. This was a disappointing start to my visit. Furthermore, the state of the bathroom facilities was appalling. It was evident that the bathroom had not been adequately cleaned for quite some time. There were visible signs of dirt and grime, particularly around the sink area, which had accumulated to the extent that it was alarming. Such neglect of hygiene standards is completely unacceptable, especially for a reputable establishment like Starbucks. As a loyal customer of Starbucks, I value the brand for its commitment to quality and cleanliness. However, my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed and questioning whether I can continue to support your establishment. Went into this Starbucks to get an iced chai and meet with a fellow video game developer. The people working behind the counter were so bubbly & engaging that it amplified positive mood in my day. This is the second starbucks ive gone to in a month where Ive experienced a super positive post-pandemic social experience with the actual employees. It made my iced chai taste that much better. Be sure when you come to this location that you say hi to Brandon and Aisha. This was just the kind of social interaction I needed after being cooped up for the past year. I truly like this place, been coming here for years but please you must try to stop some people who being their pets inside. I'm a dogs owner and there is a place for them but inside of your store is not a place for them. I am sure many of the dogs I saw are not service dogs. Many of the dogs are not clean and I can smell them. it just not nice for many of us come here trying to do our business, driving, eating. This Starbucks location got to be once of filthy place. The staff didn't not check in at any point and when I asked him on why it taking so long he had a look like why am I asking, it will come when it comes. What happened to this Starbucks? Among many things going wrong, the restroom situation is unacceptable! This Starbucks used to have 2 restrooms each with keypads for customers. Now they leave one restroom open for anyone to use (customers, non customers and the homeless) and one is a key-coded for "employees only". I came yesterday and the restroom was gross. I didn't say anything thinking it was a one time thing. However coming today calls for a review. While I was waiting for the "customer restroom" an employee came out of the one on the left and I asked her to hold the door and she said "oh I'm sorry this is for employees only". So I waited for the other one to open up as I did yesterday. After waiting another 5 minutes, I entered a disgusting bathroom!!! I walked out and I didn't even want to grab my drink because I completely lost my appetite. It was unsanitary, smelled, pee and everything else on the floor, no paper towels and watered down soap! Keep in mind this was only 9 AM. So now being two days in a row I'm assuming this is standard sanitary situation at this Starbucks. Also I should mention my drink yesterday wasn't even properly made....a splash of cream doesn't mean a little coffee with my cream, which is what I got. I hope this Starbucks gets their act together. I personally won't be coming back. Plenty of other coffee places to go that value their customers and their entire experience. The fact that these employees and MANAGERS are so well aware of the bathroom situation that they hold one for just themselves just gets to me! It's so wrong. Located in a humongous shopping center that is just like any other suburbia shopping center with stores and chain restaurants; even though this was in San Jose (near old Tully Road side away from 101 toward Guadalupe Pkwy/Hwy 87). We came here yesterday (9/19/14) to do the Happy Hour Special where you buy one "fall" drink and get one free as long as you buy between 2pm-6pm. This location is quite spacious with its high ceilings and big seating area. There's also a nice outdoor patio with chairs and tables so that you can relax outside while sipping on your coffee. I made a beeline to the bathroom while a friend ordered the drinks. As soon as I got out, our drinks were ready. Easy peezy. I had the Oprah Chai latte with soy milk and it was dee-lish, just as I expected. We didn't get to spend any time in here since we were on our way to the Linkin Park Concert but it's a location that I wouldn't mind coming back to if I'm ever at The Plant again. read more

Oh yes, the drinks are made the same. The seating is different and somehow similar BUT my Starbucks experience here was absolutely awful. My family and I decide to come here while we waited for our queue at the next door restaurant. We order drinks and I use my card to pay for the 3 of my teenagers' drinks and this boy behind the counter starts giving me a sermon about how to speed up my order since the line is long (like 5 people behind me). You know what, Don, you're the supervisor and if the line is too long at your store, if it's slow it means YOU aren't able to hold up your crew. It's not how the customers are ordering but it's HOW YOU take orders and how organized your crew is. Capisce? One of these days you are working and there's a hoard of crowd to come in, you cannot be giving a litany of your "protocols" so you can speed up how the line moves. You just lost my next visit and you just costed your store a good review. Now grow up and get another job. So. When I call ahead, after already going through one refund 15 minutes before and I ask if you have Coconut milk in stock and you say yes. I assume when I get there, you'll have it. Not that I'll have to go through my second return of a drink in less than an hour because you can't "use" the Coconut milk you have. Not that I'll have wasted 20 minutes of my time driving out to this location. So. Will I be returning to this location? No. What I did do is call and complain to Starbucks that it seems like... and I may be wrong, it seems like people who have milk allergies and soy intolerances are not as important to Starbucks. Because back when I took the milk hit - NO Starbucks, and I mean, NONE, ever ran out of milk. And this is the 5th Starbucks this month to "not carry/have/use" Coconut milk. In fact, it turns out Starbucks headquarters only allows each location to order two cases a week, it's not considered part of their milk order. So Starbucks, if you're going to tout you now have Coconut milk... perhaps actually have it? Whaddya think hmmm? Good plan? read more
