I wanted to try EVERYTHING! It all looked AMAZING!! And everything I got, it was sooooo yummy! The croissants were the perfect texture and flakiness!! It was my 1st time trying the kouign aman, and OMG, i want more!! I'm so sad that I live in texas and can't get this until my next visit. I also got the Jambon Beurre Sandwich and it was literally one of the best sandwich i've ever had! So simple but so delicious! They definitely use high quality ingredients cause it comes through in the flavors. The cream in the mango crossaint was so yummy. Again, everything has the right balance of sweetness and not overpowering at all. I also got their chestnut pastry and they give you so much chestnut and i wanted to eat the whole thing in one seating!! I can understand why it's so popular and whenever I'm back in the bay area, it'll definietly be a place i'll go multiple times!

3.5 rounded up to 4! Been a few times now.. First time, I ordered: salt and butter roll $5 ea salt and butter garlic $5.30 almont croissant $6.30 Definitely a large spread and variety of items. Earlier you go, the higher chance for salt bread, but they do have certain times that they bake it. Why there's a line: they have only one cashier taking everyone's order and they bag the items one by one. Definitely could be more efficient, but is also the appeal to give them a try. Decent amount of seating inside. Parking is relatively available in the lot.

Short line out the door at 11am but goes by quick, waited maybe 15-20 mins until ordering. Favs: Cubed croissant chocolate covered croissants Mushroom danish Ham & cheese - though a bit sweeter than expected Prices are a bit pricer than a PB/85. Drinks (just meh... maybe I ordered the wrong drinks??) Matcha & blended caramel Tables open up quick as people dine and leave.

I always love there mango flavor. I tried out their new pastrami flavor today and felt in love with it too. It maybe not for everyone since it has a strong mustard flavor but personally I love it. The mushroom is a bit too creamy for me but it help cut the mustard flavor in the pastrami.

Came by for some dessert the other day and it was a mediocre experience. After spending time in Paris last month, I was surprised that I hadn't run into a Saint Honore at local bakeries. Staff were wearing uniforms matching the bakery colors although the bakery seemed grimey including fog on the mirrors and windows. ...maybe it's cultural? The Saint Honore seems a touch off. The base was a crispy flaky cookie topped with some flavorful whipped cream along with several cream puffs. Pricing was premium at $12.5 for an individual pastry. Packaging was excellent, including a nice paper box along with a paper bag for a single pastry.

Very aesthetic pastries and a huge selection. Didn't love the classic croissants. The good: - Aesthetic. The branding and packaging is on point. Everything is super cute and coordinated, and pastries are presented beautifully. - Selection. Filled croissants, cubes, loafs, sweet, savory, anything you can think of and a lot you could never dream up - they have it all The not so good: - The setup. The pastry case goes all the way along the line until the cashier, so you have to order your pastries before seeing everything that's available, or you have to squeeze ahead through people to peek at the other pastries which feels flustering. By the time I got to the cashier, additional pastries had come out that I missed out on. - lack of crisp. Classic croissant and pain au chocolat (and every type of viennoiserie I tried) had nice structure, but zero crisp. Everything was just soft on soft. I prefer my croissants to have a bit of crisp on top

Let's start with how to find the place- n the Bank of America plaza. Look for the mustard yellow building next to the Bay Spa and Eye Boutique Optometry Crossiante is open during the following days and times listed on their door: M-Th 7:30-5:30 Fri- Sat 7-6 Though we got there on a Sunday and they were open so yay for us. The sign also says No Cash Accepted, No dogs or pets in other. But of course service dogs are welcomed. The open floor plan makes the place look spacious with about ten small circle tables and two long tables with a small counter space right at the entrance for a single quiet breakfast and large groups as well. It is an open first come first seat set up. Menus are located once you come in for drinks and brunch items. Surely will have to take advantage of their array of brunch items at the next visit. Looks promising. Even the fresh squeezed orange juice looked refreshing. This trip only allowed for pastry grab and go before hopping on the plane. I would've liked the pastries to fit into a box but they came in their own paper sleeves and into the paper bag with handles. Missed the mark there for all that effort. The pastries 1 Croissant 1 Almond Croissant 1 White Sesame & Honey Croissant 1 Matcha Lemon Croissant 1 Matcha Pain Suisse au Chocolat 1 Cube Croissant 1 Salt and Butter Roll 1 Eclair - Mocha Everything was delicious. Can't wait to come back for more

Tried a bunch of stuff at Croissante the other day: Kouign Amann, matcha pain suisse au chocolat, chicken spinach & cheese croissant, mango croissant, white chocolate matcha scone, and the chocolate covered salt bread (yeah we went a little overboard lol). Favorite by far was the white chocolate matcha scone. Not too sweet at all which I liked, and you can actually taste the matcha instead of it just being sugary. Would 100% get that again. Mango croissant was prob my second favorite, kinda refreshing in a way I didn't expect from a pastry? Kouign Amann and the matcha pain suisse were solid, nothing crazy but good. Chocolate covered salt bread was interesting... not bad just not something I'd go out of my way for again. Least favorite was the chicken spinach & cheese croissant. Was hoping for a good savory option but the spinach and cheese combo tasted a little off? not sure how to explain it, just kinda funky and didn't sit right with me. Overall pretty mixed but def some standouts. Would come back mainly for that scone tbh.

I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. There was a 15 minute queue to get in. There were several beautiful items. Mango croissant was my favorite item by a big margin. It had the taste of fresh mango. Almond kougin amann was my second favorite. Triple chocolate croissant tasted good, exactly as it sounds. It was very chololatey. Guava matcha cube looked amazing, but tasted ok. I thought the flavors could have been more intense

I should have kept this as a secret, but I'm the one to spread kindness and pay it forward. A few months ago, I had my first bite of an actual croissant while visiting France. Since then, I never looked back after Costco croissants. Im welcoming you to Croissante Bakery! It's located in Santa Clara and I remember going there for their soft opening. I went around 9 am on a weekday and the line was nearly out the door. It smelled so good when I walked in! They have straight up authentic artisanal pastries and breads. Good selection, but limited depending on the time and day. I can confirm they are solid croissants and even if you never been to France, this is the spot to try. *chefs kiss* Now don't be flaky - just go!

Loved everything we tried and will be coming back to try more. Croissants were so flaky and crispy! Salt breads are a must get but is best eaten fresh as texture changes after some time Came here on Saturday around 11am and the line was out the door. Waited around 20-30 minutes before we got to choose our pastries. The place is huge with lots of seating, it was busy but we were able to snag a seat of 2. If they are out of a pastry you want to try, you can try asking if it will be available. The ham and cheese croissant wasn't on display when we were picking but they informed us they would be available in the next 5 min and wrote a note on our tray. RATING Truffle salt bread 9.5/10 - my favorite out of everything we got Garlic salt bread 8.5/10 - little sweet for my palate Salt bread 9/10 - simple, great texture ham and cheese croissant 8.5/10 - super mayo-y but delectable chicken croissant 8/10 - great flavor, chicken was a little dry Mixed berry danish 8.5/10 - a LOT of cream to fruit ratio, but delicious nonetheless Mushroom danish 9.5/10 - amazing flavor!!!

I had seen Croissante all over social media and was curious to try it but didn't want to wait in the long line. I went on a Sunday afternoon and waited about 20 minutes. I only ordered pastries as I had lunch elsewhere, but their food looked delicious. I had their Palmi Carre (cookies and cream), double chocolate pain a chocolat, and their French toast half cube? I forgot the name of that one. The pastries were fresh and had a nice crisp to them. My favorite was the palmi. The French toast pastry was crisp on the outside and had a moist interior that's was lovely, I was hoping it had a maple flavor to it but it didn't. There are MANY options to choose from so I will be back to try more. This is now one of my places for French style pastries in the South Bay.

    Ask the Community - Croissante

Do you make gluten-free croissants or do you make croissants with the French flour?

We don’t offer gluten-free croissants, but all of our croissants are made with 100% label rouge (premium) French flour.

Do they use French flour for all their pastries?

Is there a gluten free selection?

No BUT French flour is very different than American and if you are gluten sensitive with American products it doesn't mean that you will necessarily feel the same. I have multiple employees that eat gluten free and they ate croissante pastries… Read more

Do they offer strawberry iced lattes?

    Nope! That sounds yummy though!

    Do you have free wifi?

    Yes, you need the password.

Hello - will your location be open on July 4th Thursday? :)

From my research of their website, they should be open. They even appear to be taking orders online! I hope that helps!

Are any of the breads vegan (no egg, milk, or butter)? I am wondering particularly about the baguette, french country bread, and walnut cranberry country bread

As far as I know, most of their lean breads (like the ones you were questioning) do not contain dairy. I know there are lean breads with a dairy filling or inclusion.

Is there any croissant without eggs?

Unfortunately, all croissants have eggs in them .

Are there still lines first thing in the morning?

Yes I went there even at 930am and there was still a line. I went another day around 2pm and no line outside but still wait inside.

The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

It's a small bakery with lots of trays of individually packaged cakes and pastries. The smell was very pleasant and comforting. Using a flat basket (or tray) I grabbed a few selections. I picked 2 "Heart Pies" that resembled my favorite French Butterfly Cookies. Also 2 pound cakes. The total rang up to just over $21. There's some small tables for enjoying your purchases there, but I took my items to go. The icy cold fruit smoothie was very good and very cold! Not too sweet, it had a natural strawberry taste. The Heart Pies were good and fresh. But the Pound Cakes were probably "day old." I noticed there's no dates or "best by" tags on the packages. It's a nice place to visit, and I will return again.
