But it all seems to come together in a polished, quick, efficient and friendly staff. If this is your go-to for brew, save your trip for late in the 7 o'clock hour as droves of day workers tide the coffee station up until then. (Just a tip: This 7-Eleven carries pumpkin spice and other seasonal favorites past November). But even with heavy patronage and a small location I've never seen them run out of anything. There's usually a large contingent of people standing out front, and I'm not sure how many of them are waiting for their laundromat tasks to be done and how many of them are just watching people try to navigate one of the goofiest parking lots known to man. If the parking lot is full, which it usually is, I guarantee you will accidentally go the wrong way and end up facing another car head on. It's embarrassing, but probably also fun to watch. We live in a wonderful neighborhood 2 blocks south of here. This is a scary corner. This store is always nasty inside and out and has been for many decades. Not sure how they have not lost food license.Neighbors are trying to close it down. It is not safe. Abrupt knock down to two stars. Thanks to going twice this week and having to circle the block after driving through the tiny parking lot in order for parking to have finally appeared. Mark H. said there are some shady characters lurking around even during the daytime, and I noticed a few. But what aggravated me the most was on Friday when some guy in a San Mateo Police Dept. cart randomly clogged up the works by just not moving for like two minutes. Sitting in the middle of the lane, barely not enough on either side of him to move around. What the heck?! That said, I still like the 7-11 itself because of the generally friendly and patient staff and $1.00 sausage biscuits that are usually pre-heated and always tasty. OTOH, the fact that parking is difficult there and it's such a busy store says a lot about the store itself. If not for the outlined negatives, this location would still deserve four stars. read more

This store is clean, the clerks are friendly, polite, and offer quick, prompt service! It was very difficult to find parking but I found eventually, the store was really dirty and it took a long time to get the guy to stop talking to each other and actually ring up my stuff. Then after I swipe my credit card he tells me it's 25cents for the bag. Why didn't he ring that up with my credit card transaction?? And who charges 25 cents for a paper bag?
