Traveled from Placerville for a business meeting and my experience in the Safeway was less than favorable. I waited in line for service a long time because there was only one person working the counter! She was very nice but it took time for two large orders that she had to prepare! There were allot of Saturday morning bike riders who were coming to get a coffee and they were less than pleasant! One man got pretty rude with the Barista who was working hard. When I received my Grande Protein Latte it was half full and no Splenda! I had to get to my meeting but I would not come back to this Starbucks! My regular order are cold brew, ice coffee and Ice brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. All are good. I asked if they could pour it over ice instead of remaking it (quicker and easier). I was given a dirty look, they took the drink without saying anything and dumped it out. Walked in around 6:50 am. First in line and had my order placed at 6:53. Took atleast 8 minutes for my hot drinks and sandwich to be ready. Saw three people after me get their orders before me. Overall: This Starbucks is terrible. The orders are typically incorrect and the staff is rude. I tried letting the manager know I've had issues with orders in the past and she was defensive and immediately asked me if I filled out a survey recently. Now I know I am not the only one who has had issues with this place because I had not heard of any surveys nor filled any out. Afterward, she told me the staff isn't new and they've been trained and while it's not an excuse, they get "highly busy." Overall, her attitude was awful and her attitude was not sincere. I understand Starbucks is busy. Most, if not all, Starbucks are incredibly so. Kudos to the employees that do actually manage to handle composure under stress (and amazingly so!). Of note: Kendall, one of the baristas, has gone out of her way on several occassions to give us really high quality service and has an awesome attitude overall. I'm not sure if she's a manager or shift lead, but if not, she should be. The staff are not only extremely friendly here, but they're quick and efficient. They're mostly young adults, but some of the nicest baristas I've ever seen or dealt with, and are a fine example of good quality customer service. Me and my wife started frequenting this location even though there was a store closer to our apartment because of the quality of this Starbucks. I've been to few Starbucks with as much pet-friendly outdoor seating as this roadside Foster City location. It's surrounded on all sides by clean, umbrella-covered tables. Unfortunately, there aren't many places to sit inside and even fewer outlets for nomadic Starbucks customers like myself. I went with my usual passion iced tea. Sweetened with just the right amount of what appears to be simple syrup, I love that I can get free refills at any location that I happen to be at. On a beautiful day like this, it's such a relief to be able to get some work done outside in the sun. Starbucks are notoriously cold and this location was no exception. I also noticed that it's got one of the dirtiest floors I've seen in a Starbucks which makes it kind of gross to spend too much time in. I stopped in to this location while in Foster City while waiting for my meeting to start. It's a big Starbucks with lots of tables. The service is very friendly! Greet you when you enter and it seemed that almost everyone that came in was a frequent. The staff would greet them by name and it was awesome to see. And it was clean, staff continuously came and disposed of trash and cleaned the sugar counter frequently. I tried something new, I figured what the heck let's be adventurous! Like others have said, it's a nice Starbucks but their quality control sucks. I went in a few days ago and ordered a pumpkin cold brew, a drink I've ordered a dozen or more times at other locations. It was quite obvious that the foam was made incorrectly as the drink didn't have any foam on top. It immediately mixed in with the coffee (see picture which was right after he gave it to me with no mixing of the drink). I would have been ok with it if they were busy but I was the only one waiting for a drink. He saw me look at the drink and didn't even offer to remake it.
