If you can't finish your drink, they have this cool contraption of a paper to-go cup that you can request! The seating area was dimly list and plenty of tables; the only off-putting thing was that it smelled like urine; not sure if they need to do a deep-clean of the carpet? Staff were friendly, and the place seems pretty popular with the locals. Loved their various decor and signages, as they were fun to check out! Parking can be found around the back. +friendly service +bookstore on site +off-putting odors +parking in rear

This distinctively…read moreshaped building has been turned into a reading room, children's play area, and cafe, which the community could really use. Food options are basic, but they have made a choice to carry some packaged gluten-free goods and some milk alternatives, so most diets can be accommodated. I got an iced matcha, which was straightforward and not overly sweet. Getting a waffle seemed the freshest option, and it was a sugary, tasty waffle with a few topping options, of which I picked a drizzle of maple syrup. Neither item was very large, but the price was right. It's a distinctive atmosphere, and you can see that this place is trying to bring something new to the area. It's not the kind of stuff you'd get at a high-end urban cafe, but it worked for me on the day.

The chipped beef on toast was outstanding - - they actually put some of it between the two slices and stack the toast up. The potatoes were very tasty. My husband enjoyed his eggs, scrapple and potatoes. The prices were very reasonable. From what I understand, this place might only have two or three employees so if you hit them up at a busy time, please be patient.

But you're out of pancakes... what would someone do if they wanted to order that and you are out of pancakes... just get the combo without pancakes? Or just 86 the combo off the menu? Okay well how about we take 3$ off the price of the combo since you are out of pancakes and we'll just order a side of toast for 1.50 so you lose almost two dollars on that meal????! So then I order an omelette which comes with one choice of meat and three additional toppings and asked if we could put the sausage on the side instead of in the omelette to which again she replied 'chef' does not like changes to the meals. So I said, that's fine I'll just pick it out. When it comes out, all it is, is two sausage patties whole (see pic) laid in the omelet and folded over... well, I guess it just made it easier to pick out. I'm still confused... Other than that, the kids working we're sweet. Just not really nonsensical. The meal was decent and I cannot say that I would not go back. But, kind of primarily because it's the only breakfast gig in town.

This was my first time visiting Bubbles Bzzz, and honestly the experience left me really…read moredisappointed. I had never been there before and didn't know how ordering worked. The first employee I interacted with was an Asian/Pacific Islander girl who was nice and let me sample a few things, but she didn't really explain the ordering process or how the menu worked. The menu setup itself is confusing because there are multiple flavors listed on the same line next to one price. For example, it listed something like mango, apple kiwi, passion fruit all together, so naturally I thought that was the drink combination I was ordering. I even pointed directly at it while ordering. At no point did anyone explain that you could only choose two flavors. After waiting, another employee -- a light-skinned white American girl with black hair who was on the heavier side and spoke fully English -- called out an apple kiwi slushy multiple times. I didn't grab it because I thought it belonged to someone else since that wasn't what I believed I ordered. Eventually she looked at me and said it was mine. I explained nicely that I had ordered something different and pointed to the menu item I selected. That's when she told me they only allow two flavors. I said I understood, but that nobody had explained that to me. I politely asked if it could be remade with mango and passion fruit instead. You could immediately tell she was annoyed, even though the store was not busy at all. While remaking the drink, she loudly told the other employee, "I don't have the patience for this," loud enough for both me and my mom to clearly hear. That was honestly the part that upset me the most. I was being respectful the entire time, simply trying to understand the menu and correct an honest misunderstanding as a first-time customer. The remake took maybe 4 minutes, and instead of handling it professionally, I was made to feel like a burden. I still said thank you when she handed me the drink, even after the comment, because I wanted her to know I heard what she said. After leaving, I called to speak to a manager and was told there wasn't one there and they didn't know when one would be in. I understand mistakes happen, especially with confusing menus, but customer service and professionalism matter. First-time customers should feel welcomed, not embarrassed for asking questions or misunderstanding an unclear menu.

Immediately greeted upon entry and chose the dining room and maybe had 3 other couples at the same time. Cole was our server and they were fantastic! Attentive and never let the beer get empty and was willing to suggest substitutions or modifications with ease and expertise! We had the crab dip to start and honestly I'd give it a 3.2/5. Definitely had a crab flavor but it had much more cheese than meat. Wifey ordered the Brussels sprouts and old bay wings as her meal and I went with the prime dip with bacon and duck fat fries. Brussels weren't hoisin like on menu but left dry with a balsamic sauce on the side! Crunchy and flavorful! 4.4/5! Wings were perfectly seasoned and huge! Perfectly crispy and delicious. 4.7/5! As for the Prime Dip! Sooo much cheese. Must have a Green Bay Packer fan in the kitchen or something but hot damn. Prime rib was flavorful. Bacon was a genius addition by yours truly. Would order again. 4.89/5. Would love a seeded hoagie roll with this. Love this old watering hole. Irish Stout was a banger and Rud Light never fails! Will return!! 4.85/5!!!!
