Well it's been a LONG time since I've been here to eat so I figured I'd give it a try, boy was I WRONG! First I walked in with my mask on there were people eating I walked up close to the counter and stood there for a moment looked at the server and asked where would you like me to sit she say sit where you want I'll be there shortly. I sat and waited while she had her conversation with another lady at the counter and another person at the counter. Two more people came in and they did the same thing I did stood waiting and she told them to sit where they wanted didn't even look at them. She finally came over with a menu and silverware and then started to walk away I asked for a cup of coffee just a minute she says. Finally she brings my coffee so I figure better get my order in she didn't ask what I wanted I just told her. I said I'll have the chip beef on toast she wrote it down I asked does that come with potatoes she said yes. Also she wasn't wearing a mask. While waiting the two guys cooking in the kitchen I noticed they were NOT wearing a mask didn't even have one hang around there neck. Then one guy started yelling at the other because he wasn't doing things like the other guy wanted. (See photos for no mask) My food came out and it looked really good the food here use to be excellent, well I was very disappointed with the food. The potatoes tasted like old grease the very few I had, I went to cut my toast and it was like mush I put a piece in my mouth and it was like eating a ball of dough with salt all over it. Don't know what they did to the toast but it wasn't toast they must have toasted the bread yesterday. I went up to the counter to pay my bill the waitress didn't ask is everything ok how is you breakfast nothing. I asked for my check she said that will be $15.34 WHAT for chip beef and a coffee? Chip beef is $11 you can bet I won't be back unless new owners take over and the waitress is gone. I should have left rite away when I saw no masks on the workers, so I would stay away until they at least start wearing masks.

Unsanitary. Place is poorly maintained and not at all clean. Owners position is very lackadaisical! Frying pan this morning - mouse poop, ants and ceiling drooping from leaks all over the dining area. i spoke to the owner and he said 'i know i have a trap right there!!" There was also a post it on the bar which said 'ants!!' Thats the owner in the pic! (July 2020)

A traditional, charming and well run establishment serving delicious American breakfast fare. The food tastes like it's made from fresh ingredients, and the coffee is poured into ceramic mugs. There are also multiple spaces - including a bar, two dining areas separated by a glass wall, and an outdoor bench - for visitors to spread out and feel safe and comfortable. The staff is also welcoming and attentive.

Oh where, oh where do I start?... Well, what happens when you are in a small town, hungry & looking for a place to fill your belly. You trust your fellow Yelpers and decide to stop in at The Frying Pan for a New Year's Day breakfast. I have to admit when I first arrived, I was a little taken back by the rustic curb appeal but knew that the food must surely offset the modest nature of the eatery based on the 4-star rating. Never judge a book .... right? Inside is just simple with southern comfort. The walls are covered with vintage (circa 1950-1960s) water color paintings in what looks like its original framing. Low ceilings, 1970s natural wood walls & '70s vinyl tile flooring. It all adds to the appeal.. The menu is a no frills basic one-pager breakfast menu. A short stack of 2 with home fries is $3.99 & the service g was generous. The pancakes were airy and melted in my mouth.. Turkey sausage tasted homemade with a hint of sage & other seasonings I can't readily recall. Although the oj was not freshly squeezed, it tasted like the oranges just came from a tree in sunny Florida. The service was adequate but their was one waitress serving 10+ tables so you can't blame her for looking a bit frazzled. She was however pleasant, responsive and attentive. It was impressive that the owner came over to our table to see how our meal was and the experience. I was impressed because this usually happens in a 4 or 5 star restaurant not a small town restaurant/diner. What a nice touch.... Thank you fellow Yelpers, you were on point with this restaurant recommendation. The Frying Pan is small time goodness with no pomp and circumstance however; with Real food, Real folks and Real good..

Awful. Worst breakfast I've ever had. Would've probably had better food in prison. It was undercooked and overpriced.

Hands down probably the best restaurant I have eaten at so far this year…read more Amazing food, friendly service, and a nice ambiance. The place can get quite busy so I would highly recommend making a reservation first. We ordered some cocktails which all tasted amazing, I enjoyed the espresso martini the most. Our table ordered the baked oysters and tuna tartare to start. The oysters were seriously so fricking good, I wanted to order another round! The tuna tarate was refreshing and tasted really good as well. I highly recommend ordering the fish curry or their scallop entree. I also got to have a bite of the chicken & waffles and the steak pasta but I would skip on those. Super excited to come back!!

My wife and I arrived around 1:20 p.m. on a Thursday. The lunch crowd was still going strong, which only reinforced that we had picked a popular spot. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill almost immediately. When we walked in, there was no hostess to be found. After waiting about four minutes, she finally appeared and offered us a choice between a small table in the corner or one by the bar. Given how busy the restaurant was, we took the table by the bar. About seven minutes later, someone finally came by to offer us water and explained that our server was busy, but she would help us in the meantime. No problem. We ordered the Avo Goddess Salad and asked that it be split so we could share it. A few minutes later, our server arrived, introduced herself, and we let her know we had already ordered the salad and were ready to place our lunch orders. She was very helpful in guiding my wife toward the Old Bay Shrimp Burger. I was excited to order the Shrimp and Grits until I learned it contained Andouille sausage and, according to our server, couldn't be prepared without it. Since the restaurant highlights that everything is made from scratch, that surprised me. I ended up ordering the Ahi Tuna Salad instead. So far, so good. Then came the frustration. We spent the next 20 minutes slowly picking at our salad, growing increasingly hungry and confused. You know something is wrong when guests who were seated after you begin receiving their meals before you. Finally, at 2:10 p.m., our food arrived: my Ahi Tuna Salad and a Pulled Lamb Sandwich for my wife. Except my wife had ordered the Shrimp Burger. When we pointed out the mistake to what was now our third server, she quickly assured us it would be corrected. A few minutes later, our original server returned and took full responsibility. She explained that the lamb and shrimp items are next to each other in the POS system and she accidentally selected the wrong item. She assured us the Shrimp Burger would be out in two minutes and suggested we enjoy the fries that came with the lamb sandwich while we waited. Unfortunately, another ten minutes passed before the burger finally arrived. Here's where things became truly disappointing: the top bun was still cold--almost frozen. My wife ended up removing it entirely and eating the sandwich with just the bottom bun. At best, the Shrimp Burger was decent, but certainly not worth the wait and frustration. As for my Ahi Tuna Salad, it felt like something I could easily make at home, especially considering the $25 price tag. I'm also not entirely convinced the tuna was particularly fresh. I can't bring myself to give Matt and Tony's one star because the atmosphere is genuinely cool and inviting. So I settled on two stars--mostly for how I felt before the experience unraveled. And listen, I get it. Mistakes happen. We're all human. But as someone who eats out frequently, here's one piece of advice: when a restaurant makes a significant mistake with a customer's order, consider taking that item off the bill. Sometimes that gesture is the only reason a guest decides to come back.

We got there at 9:30 and the kitchen was closing at 10:00.. we had the smash burger, the atomic smash burger, clam strips, and chicken wings.. all the fried foods were amazing, including the fries that come with the clam strips. Right away, I could tell they were using fresh frying oil and everything was freshly fried.. most places double fry precooked stuff and use old oil.. to my surprise, everything was freshly made! Smash burger, they have smash burger! What? The fact that they served their signature Atomic smash burger with jalapeño, cheese, an onion ring, pulled pork or brisket, bacon, plus coleslaw?? This was amazing! The standard smash burger was just burger patties and cheese.. it was also really good. Chicken wings were like Korean fried chicken level good wings. I was a bit surprised how plump and juicy they were with really good sauce.. the waitress recommended Old Bay honey and lemon pepper, a half-and-half order that was amazing.. my daughter substituted her smash burger fries with green string beans.. wow, that was really amazing.. not some canned, mushy string beans, but rather really fresh, almost like they picked them from a local farm--buttered, salted, then fire-roasted.. are you kidding me? I wasn't even that hungry and took half of my burger home, munched it up the day after, and it was like eating an upgraded White Castle burger! Delicious.. anyway, this place is a real hidden gem.. I've had better food and service here compared to well-known restaurants across Los Angeles, New York, Baltimore, etc.... Go check them out!

It wasn't super busy when we arrived, but it still took about 10 minutes for any of the staff to acknowledge us. From there our service was fine, and the staff was nice (but not very knowledgeable). The menu was confusing; there were very few seafood options despite the name "Atomic Seafood". I tried the blackened haddock sandwich. The fish was barely seasoned and overall disappointing. We also tried the wings. The seasonings were all both bad and lacking. The Nashville dry rub wings had a coating of honey. The fries and pickle chips were okay. Overall, it was a disappointing meal and we would not go back. If you're just looking for a bar to enjoy a couple domestic beers during a football game with maybe a side of fries, this is probably a good fit for you. Buckets Bar, down the road, offers a similar atmosphere with better service, pricing, and quality of food.
