It was so smooth, just the right amount of sweet. Incredible! And the bagel was nice and crunchy on the outside and super soft in the middle. As someone who grew up a stones throw from NYC I can be a bagel snob. This was perfection. I sat there and worked for a while and at one point one of the baristas brought me over a cup of water. Said she noticed I had been working for a while and thought it might like some water. Which honestly was so touching because sometimes I get so hyper focused on what I'm doing I forgot to care for myself. That really meant a lot. Even during the height of COVID when this was one of the few NWI locations open then were always kind and timely with orders. Considering the drive thru (because the inside was closed) could be around the back of the strip and almost onto the side road I never felt I was waiting an exorbitant amount of time! I actually decided to FINALLY leave them a review after I stopped in last night and my usual guava drink was unavailable. Which was sad but the barista who's name I unfortunately did not get gave me some suggestions! I settled on the passion tango tea she recommended which is uncaffeinated (which at 8PM and a few hours after an energy drink I definitely didn't need caffeine)!
